North America Gunman Detective

Chapter 771: 467 Unrivaled Stealth_3

Jimmy left the security room and came to the darkest corner of the front courtyard, where the security room met the wall.

The lack of response on the walkie-talkie probably made them nervous, and three people came directly from behind in a two-by-one formation, all armed with rifles and submachine guns, which complicated matters.

Jimmy put away his Glock and picked up his MP7, buttstock against his shoulder, muzzle down, safety off as he waited for them to approach. As soon as they all passed the circular flowerbed in the middle and started towards the gate and the security room, looking around, Jimmy opened fire.

The sound of 'pop pop pop' and 'ding ding ding' rang out as three men were ambushed by Jimmy. But, perhaps out of a reflex, they pulled their triggers and fired off a few shots before they all hit the ground. The sound of the security guards' guns meant Jimmy's infiltration plan had utterly failed.

Jimmy didn't change magazines, as he had brought along three 30-round MP7 magazines, using only a few bullets in this encounter.

He rushed towards the main house in the middle. As he ran, the people inside the house started to get up. One person picked up a child and ran to one side, while a few adults headed in different directions. The person who had been standing on the second floor also came to the staircase, drawing a pistol to be on guard.

Jimmy changed direction in front of the main house. He had intended to storm the main building directly, but the security personnel at the back had already mobilized. They had been seen gathering and playing cards earlier, but now they were scattering in all directions, some heading out the door towards the main entrance.

Jimmy turned the corner and stood there, emptying the remaining bullets from his MP7, and the three men in the lead fell to the ground without a chance to fight back.

As Jimmy fired, he also exposed his position. Those following the first three either dropped to the ground or hid to the side, trying to avoid Jimmy's barrage, while also shooting toward the corner where Jimmy took cover.

The walls of the main house were not made of flimsy wood but of sturdy reinforced concrete, and the corner was an essential part of the load-bearing structure, so Jimmy was not worried about their bullets penetrating and harming him. After switching to a fresh magazine, Jimmy aimed at the people lying on the grass and began to pick them off one by one.

The enemies on the ground were easier to aim at, and their range of movement was limited, reducing the likelihood of Jimmy making mistakes.

With more security personnel coming out of the back rest area, the pressure on Jimmy suddenly increased.

He saw some people running to the other side, planning to flank him, but he couldn't turn to face that direction and continued to shoot in intervals. Because Jimmy was operating alone, he couldn't carry too many bullets; three MP7 magazines were all he could manage based on his physical capabilities.

Fortunately, there weren't many places in the back of the mansion that could serve as cover, and Jimmy could see the people behind the walls and trees. Still, there were a few without cover who were picked off during their shooting breaks.

Turning his head towards the other side, three people were already getting close to the corner. Jimmy stopped managing the current side and aimed at the distant corner instead, firing a preemptive shot, taking down the first person who poked out to check.

The effective range of the MP7 wasn't extensive, but for targets within 50 meters, there was no need for aiming adjustments, and Jimmy's accuracy was spot on. However, due to the limited ammunition, he dared not go fully automatic for suppressing fire; he could only shoot in semi-automatic mode, which was more efficient but less intimidating for the security personnel, who rarely ceased their gunfire.

Jimmy alternated his shots between both sides, suppressing enemies at a distant corner and accurately firing at closer ones, lively managing both fronts. Soon all three MP7 magazines were depleted, but only two enemies taking a detour and one person suppressed and not daring to show himself remained.

It wasn't that Jimmy's accuracy had deteriorated, but rather, the opponents were numerous, and he had to fire at their cover to prevent collective fire upon himself, naturally using up bullets faster.

Jimmy was indeed extremely busy, dealing with the security guards while also monitoring any activity in the main house. Of course, he wouldn't be able to identify individuals inside; as long as no one escaped out the back door, he would let them be.

There was a basement in the main house, but Jimmy hadn't discovered any underground passage, so if they were to run, it would definitely be from the front or the back. He only needed to keep an eye on it; he didn't have time to enter the house until the people outside were dealt with.

Dropping the MP7 to the ground, Jimmy drew his Glock 19, ready to take a risk. With only one person left on this side, Jimmy abandoned the corner shooting tactic and calculated the angle in advance, diving forward to the ground and aiming to take down the person hiding behind the wall corner, then immediately got up and circled around the main building to take the two detouring enemies from behind.

Those two had been suppressed by Jimmy's shooting and dared not peek out from the corner. Now several seconds had passed without gunshots; one person peaked to check Jimmy's previous location while the other shouted something but received no response.

Jimmy had already run behind them, and a few shots took the two men down, leaving none of the armed security outside alive.

Several other people in the back rest room were crouching behind walls or other objects, looking like they might be servants, and their reactions indicated they were definitely not armed personnel.
