September of the Sainted Year (Second Civil Month)
Julend could feel the heat rising, desire curling low in his body with a ferocity that startled even him. It was rare, almost unheard of, for Sylia or any of her Divisions to offer him such a gift. Perhaps something had happened. Perhaps she was feeling guilty. Time continued its relentless stretch forward, but his religious age remained frozen. To be nearly twenty in civil years and still addressed as a "boy" was nothing short of outrageous. By now, he should have left the shelter of his family's home. He should have married, begun his own household and family unit. His girlfriend had waited long enough.
And yet, here he was, caught between the legs of a Division of the woman he both loved and resented. Syl Celia had never truly cared for him. Not the way she did for his siblings, whom she lavished with affection and gifts. He had often wondered whether all those born from the Divine were so careless in how they distributed their love.
But this Division was different. He truly loved this one. She was softer. Not as bossy. Less demanding. She changed her appearance often, never settling on a single form since they had entered this space—wrapped, as it was, in the folds of a Divine Time Spell.
For almost the first time in this strange, tender interlude—one she would surely forget, discarding him once more—he had her entirely to himself. And she had let him take her the way he liked it best. She even seemed to enjoy it. Perhaps it was because she had finally received what she had wanted for so long. From him, and from his cousin Kurelli.
Then from him and his cousin Guler after sending off Kurelli who grew demanding and unreasonable.
The other man was now recovering, lazily laying in a corner behind a dark veil. He looked dazed.
The little witch was likely using Magic again, channeling it to soothe and invigorate his body, just as she had when they had collapsed in exhaustion earlier. Her Spells drained fatigue, recharged their Body Mana, and restored their strength faster than rest ever could. Sex with a higher-class woman like her could be punishing. A Mortal's body, even a gifted one, gave Mana feedback in kind but Divine Mana was dangerous. Some took precautions, but those safeguards could hinder the Body Mana buildup. Only the lust-drunk dared using such method completely. For some bloodlines, that carelessness came at a price.
Julend touched her gently, adjusting her with care.
She responded with uncharacteristic warmth, meeting his movements with her own, and casting more Spells that eased his fatigue. Her touch guided him, not with dominance but with a quiet invitation. She let him lead.
He was used to being dominated, overlooked, used to giving more than he received. But now, with her looking up at him as if he mattered—really mattered—he felt a kind of power that humbled him.
Stolen novel; please report.
She gave him that look again, the one he knew too well. Not quite surrender, not quite challenge. She had let him do as he wished, as if to remind him of his place, or maybe of hers. But even now, even at her most vulnerable state, Julend knew he was the one who cared more.
And still… he did not care.
Syl Celia shifted beneath him, her breath catching, her body tensing slightly. He knew what she wanted. She always wanted more. She would ask for Kurelli soon. Or for both of them. Julend braced for it.
But this time, he didn't give in.
"You said you needed this," he whispered. "Let me give it to you."
She hesitated, her lips parting in silent debate. Then, slowly, she nodded.
He moved again, slower now, as if trying to memorize every sound she made. There was no rush, not this time. He wanted her to feel something beyond satisfaction. He wanted her to remember him, if only for a moment longer than usual.
When she cried out, it wasn't just from release but from fulfillment and joy.
He followed soon after, the force of his own release leaving him breathless. Magic shimmered faintly in the air between them, glowing like moonlight over still water. Her Divine Mana wove into him, delicate and luminous, filling the hollow spaces inside his chest. His body responded, healing, strengthening but that wasn't what mattered most to him.
What struck him was how tightly she clung to him. How vulnerable and affectionate she felt in that moment.
Tears glistened in the corners of her eyes. Maybe from release, maybe from the pressure of the Mana within her. Her breath came in broken waves, and when she looked at him, it was with a softness he hadn't expected.
He said nothing. Just held her.
Her body shifted again, a signal he recognized. She needed more—wanted him to follow through on the promise he had made earlier. He met her gaze, searching for hesitation. There was none.
"Are you sure you want more?" he asked gently.
She nodded.
And so, he guided her through her release again, carefully. Softly. He moved with intention, not just to satisfy her but to simply hold her and to keep her from drifting away too soon.
The world blurred around them. Magic pulsed beneath her skin, the room breathing with Divine energy. He barely noticed the passage of time. All that mattered was her. The way she moved, the way she looked at him, the way she didn't ask him to stop.
She let him hold her after. Let him do as he pleased once more.
And in those precious moments, Julend didn't feel discarded.
He felt chosen.

Long after, Julend felt his mind drift a bit as if reality had been shifting. It must have been the effect of exhaustion, he thought. Then, an idea suddenly slipped inside his mind.
"Honey, do you want Guler now?" he asked. "It might help calm your body."
She bit her lip and nodded quickly. Julend guided her gently.
From there, Julend lost track of time. His mind drifted, nearly blank with pleasure, as his body moved on instinct alone.
He vaguely remembered how long they had kept at it. First one, then the other, then both of them fucking her in turn, then in tandem.
He clearly recalled that she had stayed on her hands and knees for a while, or bent again over that table, then the sofa. Her body never stopped shifting, responding.
Then it ended.
