Chapter 703: Silent Spiral's New World_2

"What exactly is the trial of the Silent Spiral?" Igula asked.

"The trials enabled by different Great Skills are not the same. I only know the Tribulation Fire Trial. My experience cannot serve as a reference and may influence your judgment instead." Qikara said helplessly.

Another informed person, Gwen, also nodded, indicating that what Qikara said was correct.

The Beastman pretended to be relaxed and said, "But there is a benefit to this. Perhaps Mr. Tamasi has been stopped by the trial, so we can find him without much effort..."

"It's here."

A giant Fog Gate stood at the end of the spiral passage. Inside the Fog Gate was a faint blood-red flame pattern, clearly indicating they had reached the end of the front hall.

Upon seeing this, Qikara's emotions instantly spiraled out of control: "How could it be..."

Everyone was surprised, looking at the Beastman, who took a deep breath and slowly spoke: "This is the mark of the Tribulation Fire Temple. The blood-red flame indicates that this is a trial initiated by the Killing Tribulation Fire Technique."

Igula suddenly asked: "What is your full name?"

"Qikara Killing Tribulation Fire." Qikara replied expressionlessly.

At this moment, Ash suddenly moved towards the nearby wall. As everyone looked over, they discovered a '→' mark on the stone slab of the wall. But it did not point towards the Fog Gate ahead; it pointed to the direction Ash and the others had come from.

Ash extended his finger, placed it into the groove of the mark, and found that it fit perfectly. As his fingertip slid across, the debris in the groove was scraped off.

"Using a finger to write on the stone slab, and it was written recently..." Ash confirmed: "This was left by Tamasi."

"At least he has some brains and a conscience." Igula glanced at the mark pointing backward, "Actually guessing that you would come to save him and specifically leaving a warning."

"He guessed we would come to save him," Ash pointed to the marks on the stone slab: "There are five shallow warning marks that can only be seen when approaching—looks like he included Alice too."

"Ah-ha," Harvey said, "Another reason to save him."

"Indeed." Igula sneered: "Since he guessed you would come, he naturally thought we wouldn't be absent."

"Can't it be that he sincerely believes the psychologist Igula, with whom he confides everything, would come to save him?" Ash laughed: "Alright—next, it's up to you, Qikara."

Qikara paused for a moment of silence and then said seriously: "I roughly remember the process. Later, you follow me, do what I do, and don't act rashly."

After a slight adjustment of the lineup, Qikara led the way through the backdoor, with everyone closely following.

The next second, gentle sunlight squeezed into their squinted eyes.

The warm sunlight crossed the blue sky and white clouds, passing through the massive glass dome, and gently fell on everyone.

They walked on a bustling avenue, surrounded by clusters of flowers, distant high-rise buildings were in sight, children were playing on the lawn far away, couples were romancing on benches, and a mother pushing a stroller passed by.

Ash almost believed he had traveled back to the Kingdom of Gospel.

But upon closer observation, one would notice the huge differences here: above the flower clusters, many Technique Spirits resembling bees were tending to the flowers; children were playing with Technique Spirits, even reading picture books with them; couples were having romantic conversations while two Technique Spirits behind them seemed to be confronting each other, as if they were about to fight; pushing the baby stroller was not a mother but a Technique Spirit, and the baby in the stroller was sleeping with a small Technique Spirit.

Almost everyone had a Technique Spirit by their side, in human, beast-like, or insect-like forms, or even One-winged, Two-winged, or Three-winged forms, some even having multiple Technique Spirits.

People naturally interacted and chatted with Technique Spirits; when they were happy, the Technique Spirits were happy; when they were dejected, the Technique Spirits followed suit.

On this road, Ash and the other Mages seemed like rural people without Technique Spirits.

"Welcome to the Tribulation Fire Trial." Qikara's tone revealed a hint of nostalgia: "A very peculiar place, isn't it?"

"So the trial is actually an illusion constructed by the Great Skill?" Igula realized.

"This is not an illusion." Qikara shook his head: "This is the world after we realize our ideals, a future depicted by the Great Skill's ultimate imagination."

They gradually figured out the situation: No wonder each layer of the Silent Spiral must be constructed by a Great Skill, and no wonder it's called the Silent Spiral with each layer named a New World!

Because each New World layer is a future fantasized by the Great Skill!

An ideal country they wish to establish!

It's their expectations and desires for the Senluo Wasteland!

"Our Tribulation Fire Temple yearns for the glory of the Fire Cat Era, and the keywords of the Fire Cat Era are no more than the ideals of the Fire Cat Technique: allowing ordinary people to drive Technique Spirits. We don't know the real situation of the Fire Cat Era, only imagining the desired past—or the future—from fragments found in ruins."

Qikara said as he walked: "Therefore, the Tribulation Fire Temple believes that everyone should have a companion Technique Spirit, inseparable until death."

At this time, a Technique Spirit suddenly appeared beside Ash and the others. This Technique Spirit resembled them greatly, as if it was another version of themselves.

"The companion Technique Spirit will accompany us as we grow."

After walking a distance, the scene suddenly shifted, and they found themselves atop a slide. The Beastman naturally slid down the slide, with the others following suit.
