Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 61: One Against Many

"Eternal Night... King!"

An illusory giant of bright silver appeared in the sky, the face formed by divine power filled with resentment and fury.

Charlotte slightly raised her head, a faint smile gracing her exquisitely beautiful cheeks:

"Your Majesty Batos, we finally meet again."

The Sky God Batos.

This is the second-ranked demigod in the Old Gods Alliance, and a staunch follower of the Sun Divine Palace.

As Charlotte knew, he did not have a harmonious relationship with the Secret Covenant God, the founder of the Old Gods Alliance, and was a main force on the pro-Sun Divine Palace faction of the Alliance.

In the past three and a half years, Charlotte had once clashed with him; this is a demigod capable of controlling celestial phenomena and holding a divine artifact, the All Phenomena Balance, which can enhance divine power. He was one of the few demigods who could confront her alone in their past encounters.

Of course, that was already two years ago.

Over the past two years, Charlotte's strength has grown beyond recognition.

Although her steadily accumulated divine power had yet to transform, Charlotte's reserve of divine power and her ability to wield it surpassed her past self by far.

Two years ago, when Charlotte battled him, he didn't even use his divine artifact.

And now, even though he wielded the artifact, he still fell behind in the initial clash, forced back by Charlotte's divine power directly.

And this was even without Charlotte using the power of the Blood Holy Scripture.

"Your growth rate has exceeded my expectations; you're the most incredible phenomenon in the mythos I've ever seen. In the realm of demigods, no myth can stand alone against you."

These were the words of Sea King Oshen when he trained Charlotte in divine power half a year ago.

Of course, this was also to be expected.

With the Blood Holy Scripture as a cheat, Charlotte carried a guidebook and nutritional supplements around with her, and with the guidance of Oshen, a True God, it was impossible for her growth not to be rapid.

In today's confrontation, the results were apparent.

Even the top myths of the Old Gods Alliance could no longer stand in Charlotte's way.

However, despite being at a disadvantage in the initial clash, the Sky God Batos did not retreat.

The bright silver divine power erupted once more as he roared and charged at Charlotte again.

Charlotte glanced at the bloodline members on the ground protected by the artifact, releasing her crimson divine power around her body.

She swiftly ascended into the sky, manipulating her divine power to battle with her opponent.

The battle between myths was already beyond mortal intervention.

The magical energy of the mythical era was also more active; the energy demigods of this era could summon and the destruction they could cause far exceeded the afterlife.

Thus, after the initial clash, Charlotte took the initiative to move the battlefield to the high heavens.

The crimson glow ascended, and the silver light followed.

Faintly, the silver giant's roar could still be heard:

"Eternal Night King, do you look down on me?! You will pay for your arrogance!"

Charlotte, however, was not surprised by the Sky God Batos's reaction.

Deities are arrogant, proud, and even demigods are no exception.

The sky is Batos's domain, and by taking the battle to the high sky, Charlotte was, in a certain sense, showing disdain and provocation.

Completely enraged by Charlotte, the bright silver light became even more dazzling, and the specter of the scales appeared once again.

Soon, a more intense battle erupted in the high heavens.

"Boom, boom, boom..."

Deafening thunder continuously echoed across the sky.

The third-generation bloodline members, protected by the divine artifact, raised their heads.

They looked to the sky, unable to see their True Ancestor's figure, only the clashing crimson and silver divine powers in the clouds.

The rolling clouds were like a boiling sea, red and silver lightning weaving with deafening thunder, terrifying divine power erupting high in the sky.

Merely the ravaging aftershocks formed a terrifying magic storm, causing chaos on the ground.

But fortunately, at least it wouldn't cause doomsday-like destruction like mountains collapsing.

Nonetheless, looking at the unpredictable celestial phenomena in the sky, the bloodline members' gazes were filled with reverence and longing.

As High Tier Transcendents, they could feel the terror in every clash of divine powers.

They dared only to look up in awe, not daring to spread their spiritual power.

For a small misstep, and their expanded spiritual power might be shredded by the magic storm incited by the divine power's aftershocks, directly wounding their souls.

But even from this distance, they could roughly discern the trajectory of the battle between the two myths.

After withstanding the first wave of bright silver radiance's counterattack, the crimson light exploded again, sweeping across the sky with a thunderous momentum, shredding the silver light.

Evidently, even in the Sky God Batos's domain, Charlotte still held the upper hand.

The bloodline members gazed upward in reverence, seeing only the blood moon in the sky becoming ever more crimson and dazzling, while the bright silver light seemed like a solitary boat in a storm, teetering precariously.

Clearly, a myth famous in the Northern Border, one whose name inspires awe among mortals, the "Sky God," in this moment, in the presence of the crimson divine power, seemed as a child.

"Your Majesty, True Ancestor... so strong!"

This was the common thought shared by everyone present, including Yabaton, all members of the third-generation Bloodline, and Haral at this moment.

And during the approximately three minutes when the crimson and bright silver lights interwove, finally... the second mythical being couldn't hold back any longer.

Amidst the mountains, another divine light burst out and soared into the sky to join the battle.

It was a cyan light, accompanied by the shadowy figures of totems and the roars of beasts.

However, even after the entry of a second divine light, the crimson glow showed no sign of weakening, still displaying a great advantage while fighting one against two.

One against two!

The eyes of the Bloodline clan grew even more fervent.

Even though it wasn't the first time they had seen their True Ancestor battling one against two, their gaze was still filled with awe at the God War in the high heavens.

However, this one-sided God War did not last long.

Because soon enough, the third mythical being also took action.

Yet another gray-blue divine light rose skyward, and a third demigod joined the fray.

Shortly afterward, a fourth, a fifth...

The Bloodline clans on the ground had become numb.

The battlefield in the sky clearly ascended once again, with the light of divine powers growing ever more distant.

But the crimson glow continued to radiate steadily, not faltering even when facing the encirclement of five mythical beings simultaneously.

Until the appearance of the sixth divine light column, did the crimson glow begin to be suppressed.

"Your Majesty True Ancestor!"

Watching Charlotte start to fall into disadvantage, the Bloodline members showed signs of anxiety and concern.

But in the next moment, an even more dazzling scarlet brilliance erupted in the high sky.

"Primordial Power?!"

The Bloodline members only heard a faint exclamation from the heights, and the six beams of light battling the crimson glow quickly retreated as if avoiding something.

However, they did not move far, instead forming a surrounding stance, encasing the crimson glow within.

The battle paused instantly, and the brilliance faded away.

High above, Charlotte's silver hair billowed, enveloped by divine power as six mythical beings slowly revealed themselves, transforming into humanoid forms to surround her.

The bright silver divine giant, the Sky God Batos, also shrank his form.

He transformed into a two-meter-tall silver-haired man in a white robe, faintly taking the lead among the six mythical beings, confronting Charlotte from afar.

He looked solemnly at Charlotte, especially focusing on the deep Blood Divine Power surrounding her that was continuously "devouring" other divine powers, and his majestic and handsome face displayed complexity and wariness:

"I truly didn't expect, after two years, your strength would have grown this powerful."

"No wonder that guy Sacrificial Snake was so easily slain. If you continue to grow at this rate, you might eventually become a deity truly mastering the 'Creation Authority.'

"What His Majesty said is correct. To the gods, you are an unseemly variable, an anomaly that steals Creation Power that should be smothered in the cradle!"

"However... fortunately, you are still too confident, too arrogant, daring to come alone into the heart of the Dragon Ridge Mountain Range!"

"Eternal Night King, you are a worthy and respectable foe, but... today will be the day of your fall!"

With that said, He shouted loudly, looking toward the distant land:

"What are you still standing there for! Hurry and join forces to subdue Her!"

Before the words were finished, no less than six beams of divine light surged into the sky.

At this moment, all the demigods ambushed in the Dragon Ridge Mountain Range... all took action.

Twelve beams of light illuminated, arranged in twelve directions, forming a massive Divine Power Cage.

The divine powers of different hues interwove, revealing intricate and mysterious Divine Power runes, consolidating into a vast divine power net that enveloped Charlotte within.

The divine power net closed in continuously, isolating Charlotte from heaven and earth, confining her as if in a cage.

At the same time, Charlotte felt her mysterious connection with the Blood Holy Scripture being severed.

The crimson Blood Divine Power rapidly dimmed, and Charlotte sensed her "devouring" capability seemingly being "sealed" at once, even her ignited Divine Fire became precarious.

Charlotte raised an eyebrow slightly.

She reached out her hand to touch the web-like Divine Power Cage, feeling the stabbing pain from her heart and fingertips, and remarked with interest:

"Is this... a divine art capable of sealing Divine Fire and Primordial Power?"

The Sky God Batos looked at her indifferently:

"Indeed, this is a divine art crafted specifically for you, capable of sealing your unique Divine Fire."

"If you had ascended to True God, perhaps we would really have no way to deal with you, but alas, you are still not a True God."

"You... are already caught."

With that, the divine power net rapidly constricted, transforming into chains, rushing toward Charlotte.

However, just as the Divine Power Lock was about to entangle Charlotte's body, the necklace on Charlotte's chest suddenly burst with deep blue radiance.

A far more profound and vast aura than that of all present mythicals rapidly spread, shredding the weaving Divine Power Lock in an instant, and along with that profound aura came a rough and teasing voice:

"Specialized for 'demigods,' huh? Well... how coincidental!"
