The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1919: Nation of Fiends

The Heavenly Demon Continent is unique within the entire Thunder Immortal Realm. Other continents are dominated by Human Cultivators. Even the more peculiar Dragon Spirit Continent is co-governed by both Humans and Dragons, but the Heavenly Demon Continent is ruled by the Demon Race.

The Heavenly Demon Continent is not without humans; on the contrary, there are quite a few. However, humans on the Heavenly Demon Continent are completely subjugated and controlled.

All the powerful Demon Races of the entire Thunder Immortal Realm are essentially gathered in the Heavenly Demon Continent, where powerhouses are as numerous as the clouds. Although some exceptional humans have risen, they still cannot break the prevailing trend. The fortunate ones are assimilated, while those less lucky are eliminated.

On the Heavenly Demon Continent, the Demon Race is the absolute ruler!

They will not tolerate the presence of Human Cultivators who might overthrow the Demon Race's rule.

If the Dragons of the Dragon Spirit Continent are akin to mountain kings, then the Heavenly Demon Continent is like a nation carved from the land.

The Nation of Demons.

When Nico Weaver unified the Thunder Immortal Realm, all the powerful Demon Races of the Heavenly Demon Continent collectively praised him, acknowledging him as the Master of the Immortal Domain, yet subtly declaring the Heavenly Demon Continent as a nation of the Demons, unwilling to partake in excessive Human Cultivator conflicts.

Nico Weaver naturally understood their meaning, merely recognizing him as the Domain Master in name while asserting the independence and self-governance of the Heavenly Demon Continent, listening to orders but not obeying commands.

Nico Weaver unified the Immortal Domains to restore order and had no intention of meddling in the internal affairs of the Demon Race, much less raising powerhouses to conquer the Heavenly Demon Continent. Thus, he accepted readily.

"Who are you, and what business have you in the Heavenly Demon Continent?"

Carson Flores and Selah Ellison Immortal Lord had just passed through the Domain Gate, startled by the grand array surrounding them.

The dense Formation emitted a formidable aura, with solemn-faced Demon Cultivators all around them, their gazes concentrated on Carson Flores, filled with vigilance and wariness.

Carson Flores took out the Immortal Palace Order, infused it with Spiritual Energy, and released an image to verify his identity.

Unlike before, the Immortal Palace Order Carson Flores now presented was given by Nico Weaver, no longer by Alfred Weaver.

Nico Weaver is indeed the genuine Domain Master, and the Immortal Palace Order given by him naturally commands more reverence.

"Immortal Palace Envoy?"

The attitudes of the surrounding demon cultivators changed immediately; they were not exactly respectful, but at least more courteous.

No matter how independently the Heavenly Demon Continent acted, they were still, outwardly, a part of the Immortal Domains and had to show respect to the Celestial Palace.

The Immortal Palace Envoy represents Domain Master Nico Weaver and hence must be treated politely.

Carson Flores nodded: "I am under the Domain Master's orders to conduct affairs at the Heavenly Fox Palace."

The Heavenly Fox Palace, one of the Top Ten Immortal Sects, is the Round Table Conference Chief of the Seven-Person Round Table Meeting on the Heavenly Demon Continent. It holds an incomparably prestigious position, being a hegemonic force.

Having confirmed the identities of Carson Flores and his companion, the demon cultivators made way for them.

After identifying the location of the Heavenly Fox Palace, Carson Flores declined the demon cultivators' offer to guide them.

As they were about to leave, Carson Flores casually asked, "I see you have strict security checks here, what are you guarding against?"

The guard leader responded, "This is routine security; there's no specific threat. After all, we are a Demon Race gathering place on the Heavenly Demon Continent, preventing some with ulterior motives from entering and causing unnecessary trouble."

Carson Flores nodded and said no more, leaving with Selah Ellison Immortal Lord.

Shortly after the two had left, a middle-aged man, appearing honest and dressed as a merchant, approached from the side, frowning slightly as he watched the departure direction of Carson Flores and Selah Ellison Immortal Lord.

The guard leader evidently recognized the individual, smiling: "Boss Zhou, such significant business requires your personal attention?"

The middle-aged man chuckled, "Small business, cannot afford any blunders. Besides, my caravan includes quite a few Human Cultivators, so I've come to say hello, to avoid any misunderstandings."

While speaking, the middle-aged man walked up to the guard leader, skillfully slipping a Space Ring into his hand.

The guard leader smiled, "Boss Zhou, you are very generous."

The middle-aged man grinned warmly, "Everyone here is working hard; a bit of tea money, please let the captain and everyone have a drink."

The guard leader laughed, "Boss Zhou, you are thoughtful. I heard your business is thriving, seems your financial streams are ever-flowing."

The middle-aged man smiled, "Just earning some hard money and making things convenient for everyone. By the way, that young couple, where are they from?"

The guard leader replied, "Don't be fooled by their youth, they are Immortal Palace Envoys, said to be on Domain Master's orders to the Heavenly Fox Palace."

The middle-aged man frowned, "Immortal Palace Envoy, do you know what they are here for? The Heavenly Demon Continent isn't under Celestial Palace's jurisdiction…"

The guard leader laughed, "Who knows what they're up to? That's for the big figures to worry about, not us little people. Why do you ask?"

The middle-aged man's eyes flickered as he smiled, "Just a casual question. It's just unexpected; after all, the Celestial Palace never meddles with the Heavenly Demon Continent. Sending an envoy suddenly is rather strange."

As they were speaking, light flickered within the Domain Gate, and a group emerged onto the square.

If Carson Flores hadn't left, he would immediately recognize this group as the many high-level members of the Heavenly Alliance, led by none other than Aydin Hatfield.

The middle-aged man's eyes lit up, and he smiled, "My caravan personnel have arrived…"
