Outside the gold world, in the gold area of the Five Elements, Chu Mo stood on the warship made by the Immortal Realm with a wide grin, sailing through the air.
Yes, he was flying!
The vast gold area of the Five Elements was teeming with robust creatures. Some even possessed divine abilities. Here, however, human potential was heavily suppressed. They could barely maintain their innate level, which was insufficient even for magicians.
Simply put, this place prohibited humans from executing any divine abilities!
This was, in fact, a form of protection for the creatures of this lesser world.
Otherwise, these lesser worlds might have been plundered long ago by powerful human magicians.
Even a capable young emperor like Zhuge Lang could only travel by employing powerful dharma instruments. He too was subjected to the dominance of the mighty creatures when he finally reached the gold area of Five Elements. His copper vehicle nearly got smashed.
When Chu Mo arrived here, he dared not use this warship from the Immortal Realm. Any powerful creature could shatter it, with a simple slap from below.
But now, he stood on the deck of the warship, unabashedly grinning into the wind.
Strangely, no creatures from the Five Elements' gold area approached him.
Not far from Chu Mo stood a giant golden rabbit. The rabbit was bragging about its previous exploits with great excitement.
"Kid, listen to me... Although that guy was strong, how could he possibly be a match for me? I just punched him left and right, and his face swelled like a pig's! Hahahaha!" The golden rabbit smirked at Chu Mo's silhouette. "Later, I saw him fleeing the Five Elements' gold area. He's lucky he ran fast, or I would not have been so kind!"
On Chu Mo's shoulder sat a three-inch tall little creature, clear-eyed and adorable. He was the mischievous kid believed to be the spirit of the Five Elements' gold.
The kid dismissed the rabbit's boasting: "Big rabbit, quit bragging. We all know how strong you really are. That year in...."
"Alas... my lord, can we not bring up that incident?" The golden rabbit blushed, interrupting the kid.
Chu Mo appeared curious and asked with a smile, "What happened that year?"
"Sir, you are a gentleman... may we not discuss it?" The golden rabbit crouched sheepishly.
"Why would he be a gentleman, but I'm a junior?" The little kid on Chu Mo's shoulder complained.
The golden rabbit cast a cautious glance at the kid, thinking that since you have chosen to follow a human, why act so arrogant?
But he certainly wouldn't dare say this out loud. Instead, he gave a foolish grin, attempting to gloss over the situation. In its heart deep down, the golden rabbit regarded the mischievous kid as its master!
Otherwise, why would their personalities be so in sync?
A formerly docile golden rabbit turned into a knavish rabbit, all thanks to the mischievous kid.
Chu Mo further probed for some detailed information about Zhuge Lang. He needed to know who Lang really was, and whether he would ambush Chu Mo from outside.
After the golden rabbit recounted everything, it told Chu Mo that there was a high chance Lang wouldn't accept his defeat and was likely waiting at the exit of the Five Elements' gold area.
"It's no problem, I have plenty of ways to leave from other places! There's no need to go through that door specifically!" The mischievous kid slapped his chest in assurance.
"What if he discovers us?" Chu Mo asked.
"Then we'll get rid of him!" The mischievous kid answered coldly.
"He might be very powerful!" Chu Mo cautioned.
"I'm even more powerful!" The kid replied confidently.
Earlier, in the golden world, Chu Mo confronted the kid for a long time. Eventually, the kid succumbed to the lure of the holy fruit. After negotiating terms with Chu Mo, the kid happily accepted the holy fruit from Chu Mo and revealed the whereabouts of Si Tutu near the sarcophagus.
This gave Chu Mo the creeps. He didn't want anything to do with the skilled archer girl and had chosen to keep his distance. Thus, he asked the kid if there were alternatives for departing from the golden world and entering the gold area of Five Elements.
The kid scoffed and told Chu Mo that he was the ruler of this world and could leave however he wanted.
Therefore, without any hesitation, Chu Mo chose to depart from the golden world somewhere else. He then located the golden rabbit, convincing it to join him on his journey.
As for the naive Si Tutu, she was still waiting near the sarcophagus for Chu Mo's departure, hoping to redirect her resentment toward Chu Mo. Little did she know, Chu Mo had already left the golden world.
And, should Si Tutu venture into the golden world again, she wouldn't believe her eyes.
Because the entire golden world was now devoid of any gold!
There was no trace of any Five Elements' gold either!
Everything was taken by the mischievous kid!
In the kid's words, he was moving house.
"Tell me about the business of being an immortal." Chu Mo remembered the kid referring to the immortal who was imperishable during their previous argument. The kid also showed complete disregard for the current Immortal Realm.
Chu Mo could sense that the mischievous kid indeed knew many things. Despite his child-like appearance, he was an ancient and sentient being! It was reasonable for him to know about things beyond others' knowledge.
"The matter with the immortals is complex; it cannot be explained in a few words." The kid seemed reluctant to speak any more about it.
"That's fine, we have ample time." Chu Mo replied.
The kid fell silent for a moment, then he hesitantly began, "Actually, you shouldn't be concerning yourself with these matters! But as allies, I can tell you a bit about the Immortal Realm, Heavenly Realm, and the Spirit Realm."
"Oh?" Chu Mo glanced at the kid seated on his shoulder, "You're familiar with these matters?"
"Me? Hehe, I know something." The kid seemed eager to show off but quickly changed the subject. "Currently, the outside world is divided into the Heavenly Realm, Immortal Realm, and Spirit Realm, with the Heavenly Realm being the highest tier."
"There is also the Mortal Realm, making it four realms!" Chu Mo corrected.
"The Mortal Realm... qualifies as a realm? A place with incomplete laws like that... What gives it the right to be considered a realm?" The kid disdainfully retorted.
Irritated, Chu Mo shot back, "Why can't the Mortal Realm be considered a proper realm?"
"That place can't even bear the weakest of meditators, why should it be considered a realm?" The kid smirked and gazed at Chu Mo, "Don't tell me you are from there?"
