As the two paths come together David prepares himself.

As they collide, immediately he tries activating the Heavenly Demon Technique.

The impact from the collision in his heart causes great pain causing him to scream out loud.

He groans as blood begins to stream down his mouth.

Gritting his teeth he held on.

The children now look more pale than earlier, like they could drop at any time yet, they held on.

Just as it seemed like everything was about to end, with a surge of energy David's hair suddenly flares up in the air, glowing the colour Red.

He opens his eyes and they glow blood red...

With a loud echoing roar he emits a sudden burst of energy that displaces the children off where they sat.

The burst of energy causes the rise of dust in the cave.

Everywhere became dusty and blurry, no one could properly see anything.

As the dust begins to settle, the children could see a red glow in the distance, where David sat.

Seeing they had succeeded they began to relax and soon they all knocked out from the strain.

David sits in his lotus position trying to retain the energy within him.

It was extremely difficult since there was no Dantian to store it but he found a way.

He began to circulate it through his meridians like a current through a wire, round and round through his body until it gets exhausted.

He kept this going so the Heavenly Demon Technique could have something to feed on.

As he sits there his complexion slowly begins to improve, his wrinkled skin also begins to smoothen out.

After about seven minutes the energy finally gets exhausted and his hair slowly falls upon his face, back and shoulders.

P.O.V - David.

After successfully activating the Heavenly Demon Technique I sit trying to maintain it.

Concentrating fully I begin to circulate the Ki through my meridians.

It was hard at first due to my meridians being a mess but as I continued to pass Ki through, they began to smoothen out.

Gradually I could feel my body getting better, after a while the Ki I had tried retaining finally gets exhausted by the Heavenly Demon Technique.

I open my eyes and take a look at my body.

And the first thing I notice was my hair which was over my face.

'Huh? why is it still white?'

I look at my arms and I see my skin had gotten better, though my muscles didn't return.

Well of course, I'd have to work back that one.

Well this is a good start, I do not feel as weak as I did.

I raise my right arm and with my left hand I loose the wrapping around my forearm.

Looking at my forearm I see it had healed well.

I flex my arm back and forth then I flex and turn my wrist, and fortunately there was no pain.

This is good.

I was still checking out myself when I remembered.

"Shit! the children."

I look around and see them scattered all around.

I immediately try to stand up but as soon as I do i feel my head gets fuzzy, I slumb and immediately drop to my knees.

"Fuck!" I exclaim as I grab my head.

But I look at the children on the ground and I grit my teeth and drag myself towards them.

One by one I check on them to ensure they were ok.

I fed each of them Ki Spirit Pills which were very weak forms of Ki boosting pills.

They only grant a tiny little bit of Ki but that should be enough to help them a bit.

After feeding them all, I carry them one by one in my arms and place them on their beds made of leaves and palm fronds all why my head still felt light.

After moving them all, I collapse to by butt.

Then I lay down, to rest my head a bit.

I didn't even realize I was sweating and panting.

Not too long after I log out falling asleep.

I wake up in the evening to the richness of Ki in the cave.

As I open my eyes I see the children all cultivating.

They were drawing a vast amount of Ki from outside into the cave.

I was amazed.

Even if three Masters decided to sit and cultivate the effect would be no where near this.

Is this because of the Martial Arts they learnt? The Blood Absorption Martial Art.

Seeing it as an advantage a tried meditating.

I didn't have a Dantian but with the vast amount of Ki flowing into the cave I could use this to try out different things.

Who knows, maybe I'll come up with a way to prosper without a Dantian.

With the large influx of Ki I was able to experiment on a lot of things.

First I tried activating the Heavenly Demon Technique again and it was successful.

More smooth than the first.

I kept trying and trying it until it became as smooth and easy as it could be.

Now with enough energy it didn't take me a second to activate the Heavenly Demon Technique.

Ohh? what's this? My meridians are now as smooth as a stream, even clearer than before I lost my Dantian.

I this due to the continuous influx and circulation of Ki?

With this, if I had a Dantian my Ki consumption would become more effecient.

Next I tried to activate the Phantom Technique.

Following a similar method I was able to activate it without pain on the third try.

I kept practicing and practicing thus, I became more effecient at using External energy.

Without needing to channel it to my dantian I could now use it effectively, though it was slower than it would be if I had a Dantian and was using inner energy.

The problem is, the environment doesn't hold this high concentration of Ki on a normal day.

The only reason I can use it this effectively is because right now a large amount of Ki is being concentrated in this cave.

On a normal day one would need to meditate to draw in little bits of Ki and then channel them towards the Dantian.

Well I'll come up with something, definitely, hahaha...

Like that David kept experimenting on different things and the children kept practicing and drawing in Ki.

Far away, in a land miles away from the Ximen Clan, on a cliff stood a man in white robe holding a fan over his face, looking down at the view.

From behind came a man in red and black wearing a black mask.

Next to him came another in all black.

Next to that one came an Elderly man in white and green long robes.

Stroking his beard as he stood he looked at the two next to him and the male figure in all white at the edge of the cliff.

As he speaks we recognize the voice and taking a closer look it is the Grand Elder of the Ximen Clan, Ximen Dury.

"So what is going on here, why doth thou invite an old man such as I to such a place?" He questions.

The male figure in all white slowly turns towards him and gives a smile.

Back at the Dang Clan, Diana has been undergoing training with Dang Soha, Rohli Von Bastin.

With the training of Dang Soha, Diana began to comprehend deeper understandings of Ki usage.

It seemed like all her previous knowledge were those of a baby.

Now she began to believe that indeed the Martial Artists of Rohli's generation were indeed way stronger than the ones in this generation.

Whenever she didn't understand something she asked Dang Soha and like that their bond grew as they spent more time practicing together.

On one side the sister was getting a better understanding on Martial Arts and on the other side the brother was experimenting on various techniques to get stronger, all to get their revenge on the ones who took their loved ones away.

That night, the Emei Sect Grand Priestess could not sleep peacefully.

The world was telling her something.

That night, she received another Revelation a dreary one, one that shook the continent.
