Storm Strider

Stub Announcements and (kinda) New Story Announcement!

Heya! It's been a while since I last made a post on Storm Strider, so I'm here to announce two things.

First Announcement: Storm Strider Volume One will be stubbed in about three weeks for the Amazon release on October 7th, which will include the eBook and Audiobook formats, the latter of which is being produced by Podium. The other two volumes will be stubbed in the subsequent months.

I've talked about this briefly before, but now that the Amazon release date has finally been confirmed, please make sure to catch up to the story if you've been putting it off! A month's notice should be ample time for you hungry readers. Over the following weeks, I'll be releasing more announcements on the details of the Amazon release, so stay tuned.

For those of you wondering: yes, there will be changes between the RR version and the Amazon version. For one, the Amazon version has been professionally edited, so it will read better on a line-by-line basis. Certain story details have also been added and removed (mostly added), though they're more obvious in Volume Two and Volume Three. Hopefully, they fix a few plotholes and writing inconsistencies many readers have found and pointed out to me back when the story was still being published.

That's all I've got for now. Once again, the Amazon release is on October 7th, so I'll be stubbing the story about a week before that. Keep the date in mind!

Second Announcement: Many of you probably don't know this, but for the past year and a half, I've been working closely with an editor and a co-writer to bring you the stories in the Brightburrow Series (including Storm Strider). His name is Elio, and he's a great friend of mine. Elio has just launched a new story, so I'd like to shout him out here, because I've been editing and co-writing his work for about the past three months as well. After all, I do sometimes need breaks from writing about bugs 24/7.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

Check out the story if you're interested. It's completely unrelated to the Brightburrow Series, but I've still been working on it very closely with Elio, so if you can give it a shot, I'll be super grateful. Synopsis and link below!

Unless the Soulshaper Dies

Every hundred years, the Soulshaper awakens and resurrects everyone that has died.

Ninety years ago, she went mad and resurrected the dead as monsters instead.

The grand kingdoms have been overrun by the undead. Ancient beasts have returned hungry for flesh. Legendary heroes have revived as manic calamities. Every standing army has voyaged to the Soulshaper for retribution, but after ninety years of repeated failures, nobody believes anyone can kill her anymore.

But fighting is what Andras #63 was made to do, and after his home is destroyed by monsters, fighting is all he has left.

So what if every god-killing voyage before his has failed?

In ten years, the Soulshaper will awaken again and resurrect a new wave of monsters that will end the world—unless someone kills her first.
