Ari (AH-ree) : Vice leader for Weisar's mercenary company

Crux Empire : Empire rumored to occupy territory greater than a hundred cities to the west of Vazreth

Davon (DAY-von) : Leader of the merchant caravan attacked by Nashiin

Dunstraag (DUN-strahg) : Cass's dwarven friend from Durthangrim

Elaine (eh-LAYN) : Young girl studying at the adventurer school in Vazreth, specializes in Fire magic
