Inara Maric – the AI would NOT give her shorter hair…
Description:
Fast:
About 5'1 (155cm), lithe, looks early 20s, short-cropped blonde hair and light purple eyes. Wears dark studded leather in combat and bright colors when not.
Not so Fast:
Inara has three completely separate looks that make it hard to pin down what she wants people to think. All three represent her goals in that regard. In a delve, she's all business in dark studded leather, two long daggers – some may call them short swords given her height. But outside a delve, she has a more mysterious side that rarely comes out. Instead, you'll usually find her in bright colors, sometimes with a small matching hat or ear cuff/jacket and sporting a blonde pageboy haircut and light purple eyes.
Inara's combat build:
Much like Jasna, Inara is about fast in-and-out strikes, though more for crippling blows than as a distraction. Wielding two long daggers, she powers her enchantments that range from slow to extra bleed effects to a minor armor penetration. One of the daggers has an enchantment of true throw, making it mildly effective when thrown, usually as a distraction or last resort. But most of her offensive capabilities are focused on massive damage output before she gets the hell away.
Her armor is much more for speed and dodging than for taking any major blows. Sporting dark leather with stealth enchantments – her [Mark of the Chameleon] enchantment being her favorite – as well as speed, she is able to dive in and out quickly. She has a few enchantments on her forearm guards that are used for blocking and a single one-time-use enchantment – which she's had to reapply twice – on her chest in case of a life-threatening attack.
She has one spell, [Restricting Vines], which is pretty self-explanatory: it conjures vines from the ground to reach up and grab at its targets, usually the legs if it has them.
#1: Didn't really get the hair right (none of them did) but the eyes are great and the slight smirk is okay
#2: They got the smirk right but none of them really got normal clothes. This is still probably closest in my mind.
#3: Just cool-ass eyes so wanted to share
#4: This is what happens when you give Ideogram a picture as the starting point and say iterate off it. I think it was from #2. No idea WTF happened 😅🤣
Prompt:
Please generate a photorealistic picture from the waist up of a lithe woman in her early to mid 20s. She is cute and mischievous looking. She should have light purple eyes and quite short blonde hair. Again, her eyes must be light purple. She should not have dyed hair, so she should be blonde to the roots of her hair. She should be wearing a bright orange and pink shirt. She should look at the camera like she has a funny joke she wants to tell, with a slight smile.
Pavel Lysenko
Fast:
5'9 (175cm) with wavy, dirty blonde hair. Looks a bit like Pedro Pascal. Relatively well-built but has less muscle mass than someone might expect. Wears indistinct armor designed for a fast frontliner.
If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
Not so fast:
Pavel is of moderate height and is somewhat non-descript. Outside of delving, he likes to fade into the background so takes a bit of the opposite of his spouse-to-be, Inara. He has eyes that are a mix of green and brown and a mysterious smile. He usually wears shirts of dark green or brown, somewhat washing out his complexion, which is a bit darker than most in the region. He uses a standard spear and a large shield. Both his shield and armor have minor taunt and very minor brightness enchantments to try to keep attention on him. The armor's color-changing enchantment is often set neutrally to a rift but sometimes Pavel sets it to bright pink, whether to draw the eye or entertain Inara.
Pavel's combat build:
As stated, Pavel fights with a standard spear which has sharpness, durability, and armor penetration enchantments. His main focus in battle is to lock opponents up, whether to wear them down himself or create openings for his teammates. His main shield has three overlapping durability enchantments as well as some enchantments he regularly uses to keep monsters focusing on him. His shield type is large heater shield that is close to a teardrop kite shield.
His armor has a color-changing enchantment but he usually sets it to blend in well to the environment unless there is a specific need. It is a typical ringmail set underneath the more intimidating exterior made of a very lightweight Tier 1 metal alloy so it is highly resistant to strikes and, similar to Terry's armor, has some adjustments to make it soundless. Most of his armor enchantments are again about being able to take tough hits that would otherwise cripple. There is an enchantment of deflect momentum, so heavy blows do far less damage, a durability and toughness twofer that makes claws and the like extremely hard to penetrate, and one of heaviness.
#1: This was post me throwing in the towel. The hair is still not what I wanted and it is basically Carey Elwes in The Princess Bride...
#2: Closest on the hair but man does he look like he's trying to hard. I feel like if this one could smile, it would be good. Plus, dude is shiny AF.
#3: I thought this was probably the closest on his face age because he's only around 21
Prompt:
I gave it a picture of Pedro Pascal and said: Starting from the picture I gave you for face shape, change his hair to wavy dirty blonde that falls to his shoulders, keep the mustache, and give him greenish-brown eyes instead of dark brown eyes. Do an upper body picture that shows he has muscles but isn't a body builder. He should have a slight smile, maybe a smirk.
…It did not go well… I finally got kinda close but it took me 20+ minutes so I tapped out (I HATE prompting these things, they are terrible). I finally retried at the end and got one a bit closer.
Romie Serva
Fast:
5'7 (170cm) androgynous person (they are non-binary if that wasn't super clear) with long dark hair, fair skin, and orange-brown eyes. Usually wearing dark clothes that are flowy but covers them fully.
Not so fast:
Romie is extremely striking if still hard to describe. They have fair skin and orange-brown eyes, almost like some kinds of owl. Their long black hair is very well kept, often swept into a ponytail if they are going into a delve or tumbling down their shoulders if not. Their attire is usually pretty similar: dark and flowy robes, just backed by armor when delving – or sometimes if they go to one of the more dangerous night clubs. They use a heavily enchanted bow and sometimes enchanted arrows.
Romie's combat build:
Offensively, Romie is a precision and control archer, meaning they have extremely deadly shots and also use some enchantments – whether on their bow or their arrows – to maintain battle control, inflicting debuffs and pushing enemies to where the party needs them to be. They rarely inflict very high damage on tough enemies, going for the crippling shot rather than busting through tough armor. Their heavily-enchanted bow is rift-made and has the ability to split arrows in three ([Triple Shot]), create a number of debuffs, and has [True Shot], an enchantment that can overcome most defenses for a precision, if slightly weakened, strike.
Defensively, Romie is rather boring in studded leathers with combat robes over top. The enchantments are mostly about either taking one massive hit – for when the enemies rush the backline – or for small deflections and dodging. They have bracers that do increase the pace and accuracy of projectile weapons, enhancing their rate of deadly strikes.
#0: Just because man Midjourney cannot understand androgynous, this is Rachel Lee Cook with some facial hair. It's not actually that far off, just I ended up telling it no facial hair five times (as in repeating the sentence over and over).
#1: Almost certainly the coolest picture I generated and also pretty accurate.
#2: Also cool AF and pretty accurate. I probably should have grabbed the one with a bowstring that attached to Romie's hair instead of a weapon 🤣
Prompt:
Give me an androgynous person that is attractive with fair skin, long and luxurious dark hair, and orange-brown eyes. They should be wearing a cowl that slightly hides their face with a longbow popping up over their back. The background should be blurred but with a medieval theme. Their clothes should be black and flowy.
…It did not go well… The first set had nothing to do with the clothes, only the prompt picture. The second set wasn't androgynous at all. Neither were the third set… After another 20+ minutes, I got to pretty good but man…
