Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 555 – Witch Aiko’s harassment

Witch Aiko hummed gently, the beads across the continent activated.

'I wonder if they will come, since this is the North.' Witch Aiko pondered on it for just a moment, but her attention was quickly drawn to the food.

'It doesn't smell too bad.' Witch Aiko munched on a piece.

[You have been poisoned.] [Poison: Heavenly Passion Poison]

"Geh, another poison." Witch Aiko clicked her tongue, but that didn't stop her from eating more of the food.

[As this poison is not part of your collection, it will be added to it over time.] [Heavenly Passion Poison can inflict euphoric sensations in its victims. Raising their sensitivity and desires, among other things...] [It will be added to your natural scent in the smallest doses, as this will help you de-escalate fights.]

'By them wanting to fuck me?' Witch Aiko rolled her eyes. While it was not a bad idea for her group, it would be difficult to use outside. She would've been bothered a lot, not to mention it would cause her actual trouble.

[...]

The surrounding Sects heard that whisper and focused on their food again.

It was indeed poisoned, which they didn't expect. They came here to celebrate, but instead of celebration, now they had to deal with this and that Fox.

The same Fox who was happily munching on that poison?

They were confused, but that confusion didn't last for long.

The doors burst open, the first messenger came, and Aiko was looking forward to how they would solve that~!

-----

The beads erupted across the continent. Sweet, madness-inducing scent spread to the surroundings.

It would take some time before the first Beast would be affected, but the winds would eventually carry it everywhere.

The first to notice was the north. Since they had an ever-freezing atmosphere, any sweet scent was quickly noticed by the guards.

They immediately reported it to the Elders.

"This is indeed a vicious scent. We should lock our Beasts into their cells before they go on-" The Alchemy Peak Elder investigated, but it was already too late.

*Roar!*

The first wave was upon them.

"Quickly, get the Water and Earth Cultivators here and clean this place!" The Elder shouted, hurrying towards the walls which protected the Northern capital city.

...

The Water Cultivators came and used a more advanced version of clean that couldn't be used on fellow humans, but that was the second mistake they made...

When she was halfway finished, Witch Aiko decided to add a certain twist to her beads.

She loved the [Clean] spell, and she expected that something similar might exist. So what she did was to counter it with her own clean, which caused a slight issue for everyone involved.

Thanks to that powerful clean, the winds picked up, spreading the scent even further than it was supposed to do. It spread so far that it even reached the Nightmare Forest!

-----

The Western Sect didn't dilly-dally. They immediately burned the surrounding forest, containing most of that scent.

But of course, this was Aiko, and Aiko does Aiko things.

The scent couldn't be completely burned; only the sweet scent would burn, leaving the maddening scent behind.

This caused different issues for the Western Sect. They didn't need to watch out for a stampede because all the Beasts in the surrounding area didn't know where to go.

Hungry and starved for that origin, they started to fight among each other, destroying and burning even bigger areas than the Western Sect thought was possible.

-----

The Eastern Sect was panicking. They pretty much flooded everything in front of the capital city and wished that the beasts would stop.

But that sweet scent merged with the water, and it was carried throughout the whole continent, arousing even the Beasts in the South and West.

-----

The Southern Sect...

"So... Beasts are coming?" One Cultivator asked.

"Supposedly?" Another shrugged back.

"When are they coming?" The first Cultivator almost dozed off.

"Beast me." The second one shrugged again. It was peaceful, maybe a bit too peaceful…

*snort* "Good one." The first Cultivator chuckled.

"I know." The second one laughed too.

-----

The continent stirred awake, and a very discerning quiver spread throughout the continent.

"Hm?" Witch Aiko's ears twitched as she had stuffed cheeks with delicious food.

*gulp gulp*

Witch Aiko quickly gulped it and pressed her ears onto the ground.

*dun dun dun dun dun dun dun*

"Oh..." Witch Aiko nodded her head as she licked her lips. She was cleaning after the grease, but she had no intention of stopping.

'I might have to run away.' Witch Aiko knew that her 'friends' started to move, but this tremor was not from her friends.

'It's coming here, we will dip later.' Witch Aiko chuckled.

"Elder, there are more coming!" A panicked Disciple barged in again.

"What is it this time?!" The Elder roared. They all had water mirrors in front of them and watched it unfold while giving orders.

While they didn't have time to deal with this Fox, it didn't mean they would allow her to leave either!

"'IT' woke up!" The Disciple cried out, almost shitting himself.

"WHAT?!" All the Sects panicked.

[A special situation occurred.] [You were able to speed up the acquisition.] [You can now edit the Contract of individual "Passion Fox".]

'Oh~" Witch Aiko hummed happily as a puzzle appeared in front of her.

A Rubik's cube, within a Rubik's cube, within a Rubik's cube.

Witch Aiko immediately touched it and looked through it.

'Let's remove the Soul restriction first, eh, it can't be removed. I will remove it!' Witch Aiko snorted unhappily.

The Sect Elders glared at the Fox, but then they noticed something strange.

There was a cube in her hands which she played with, but that was not the important part.

'She is tinkering with the Contract!' They long realised that the Fox next to her was supposed to be the captured Fox, but they didn't expect that she would be able to tinker with it!

Nobody was able to tinker with that Contract since it was too old, and there was no one who understood it any more. It got to a point that the Sect Leaders even voted on whether they should use it or not!

However, Beasts were indispensable for humans, so it was hard to get rid of them!

Their eyes changed. They would capture both of these Foxes for themselves and adjust the Contract!

"Elder!" Another Disciple barged in.

"WHAT IS IT?!" The Elder was about to go after the Foxes, but was interrupted.

"Don't be so upset, fellow Taoist." The Southern Sect Leader laughed. Most of their Beasts weren't contracted, and even if they were, it had to be mutual consent.

As most of their Beasts were all about agriculture or dairies, they never really needed to use that many of them.

"You old bastard! Just you wait!" The Elder still held a grudge about having the Disciples annihilated, but that was not the issue right now!

These prideful dicks from the South were completely fine, while everyone else was suffering.

"Elder, most of the Stampede was either diverted." The Southern Disciple bowed, gently cupping his fists.

"Hahahahahahahaha!" The Southern Sect Leader laughed happily.

"You-!" The Northern Sect Leader coughed up blood.

Meanwhile, Witch Aiko completely ignored them. She knew that her 'friends' would be able to fulfil their mission, and that was to destroy important places of the given Sects.

They might not be able to do that for the West, but the North and East are no problem.

Well, Aiko told them to focus on the Northern side, but that didn't mean she told them to neglect the others.

She played with the cube, within the cube- you get the point.

She was disabling the anchors and other parts of the contract to make it less oppressive.

Just then, something happened.

"Master~" The Blood Fox whispered to Aiko.

"Hm?" Witch Aiko was startled as her waist was wrapped by two soft hands, and she could feel the soft sensation of sweet and tender pillows on her back.

The Blood Fox nuzzled into Aiko's neck nook, making her squirm and giggle.

"Don't tickle me so much." Witch Aiko giggled.

The Cultivators tried to ignore that shameless duo, but their soft voices and playful noises that they were making were difficult to ignore.

"You damn whores! Be quiet!" The Northern Sect Leader had had enough.

"You sure have time to do this?" Witch Aiko snorted at him.

"You-!" The Northern Sect Leader was not the smartest, so he coughed up blood again. He always relied on prophecies to solve his problems.

But what if one day a problem appeared before a prophecy could be given? The Divination Cultivators were not all-powerful; if they were not careful, their lifespan would be quickly squeezed out of them.

And now that he was facing such an absurd situation, he was unsure how to deal with this!

The Blood Fox became more and more bold, touching and nuzzling Aiko all over.

It also didn't help that the scent on Aiko's body got weirder, making her more lustful towards her.

The Blood Fox pushed Aiko onto the soft pillows that were on the ground and kept nuzzling into her.

"It tickles, stop it, haha." Witch Aiko playfully giggled.

The Elders and Sect Leaders were enraged. How could those Foxes be so lustful when a disaster was in front of them?!

-----

*Cough*

Dai Lu awkwardly coughed.

"What is it this time? Did Aiko start a war?" Mei rolled her eyes. She didn't believe that the Blood Fox would be captured without a fight.

"How did you know?" Dai Lu slowly started to believe that Mei also could read thoughts.

"?????" Mei stared at Dai Lu in shock. "She did what?!"

Dai Lu coughed again. "And here I thought you already knew. Should I give you a rundown?"

"Aiko did a war?" Yuxi poked her head inside.

"She didn't invite us?" Wanshu also poked her head inside.

"You troublemakers." Mei sighed. "Stop talking with the Delegation, or they might do something to you."

"We already did." Yuxi chuckled.

"Twisted balls~" Wanshu giggled, and they went inside.

"Why is nobody normal around me..." Mei sighed with a painful headache.

"No, wait, that is not important!" Mei suddenly realised they were trying to divert her attention.

"War?" Mei stared at Dai Lu speechlessly again.

"Yeah. She used some kind of strange beads, and now the whole continent is in uproar, trying to defend against a huge stampede." Dai Lu laughed. She never expected that the human race might go extinct just because of a single Fox!
