"That was refreshing," Elizabeth said as she walked into the living room of the apartment Suit they had rented out.

She walked in wearing a comfortable pair of jeans with a matching hoodie. Behind her Rossie walked in with a cute pastel pink skirt and a spaghetti top.

The last member of their entourage was Rena. She walked in with a pair of shorts and a normal T-shirt.

Elizabeth was quite happy, she had enjoyed the shower, scrubbing Rena and Rossie and being scrubbed back, there hadn't been any lewd shenanigans or acts like those that would entice too much of each other.

No, instead Elizabeth had been true to her pure intentions...Sadly, she had attempted to start, but Rossie had recoiled back as if Elizabeth's touch was anathema to her.

That did hurt Elizabeth, but Rossie had muttered 'I want to wait too.' So that was that; it was hilarious in the sickest way possible that at this moment, the one that wanted Elizabeth to remain chaste was Rossie and not Elizabeth herself.

Not that Elizabeth didn't enjoy it anyway, even if Rossie slapped her hands whenever Elizabeth started to get too touchy...At least she could mess around and joke with Rena.

Not that it worked, and in the end, they ended up merely joking, chatting, and overall enjoying the time off in the jacuzzi. Overall, 10/10, would do again. Will do again.

But that was beside the point as they walked into the living area of the apartment to find Aura placing the cutlery on the table, "Morning Mistress, I assumed you would be out in a few minutes. I'm so sorry for missing the timing," Aura said doing a small bow.

"I told you that she wouldn't wake up for another half an hour at least," Jenna said from the couch, she was dressed in a casual sundress...That did not match her image as [The Juggernaut].

Lily, on the other hand, was lying atop a sofa with her face down, wearing a pair of pajamas curiously similar to the ones that Elizabeth liked; perhaps the girl had more in common with Elizabeth after all.

"...Almost got the timing right, huh," Rossie said from the side, eyeing the table, "Close enough to get the plates on the table, but not close enough to get the food ready..."

"Let's eat first and analyze later Rossie," Rena said pulling at Rossie from the side towards a chair.

"Yeah, we have much to discuss," Elizabeth said pushing Rossie from behind towards the table, "Wake up Lily, she might be helpful in this Jenna."

"....amm......the.....destroyer.....of.......nightmares.....am.....awake...." Lily mumbled as Jenna pulled at her and straight up dragged her towards the table.

The white-haired girl grumbled all the way while being half awake and half asleep, not opening her eyes fully till her breakfast teleported in front of her.

"So?" Jenna started as she sat down at her own spot at the table, "What did you manage to find out yesterday? I assume it was something important by how much your mana signature and Soul fluctuated all night?"

It did?

"Oh yeah, we got worried but found nothing wrong in the Soulscape apartment." Rossie said nodding.

"Nor in the immediate area around your Soulscape," Rena added to the explanation.

"....shared....soulscape...?......lewd...." Lily said between bites, which meant that she was taking even longer than normal to speak.

"Well....first is this I guess..." Elizabeth said, raising her right hand and opening a portal into the Terra Nexus from within the same Owl as before flew into the dining table and perched in the middle of it. In another spectral branch that seemed to be pulled out from nowhere.

"Did you call Mistress?" The Owl asked in the same voice that sounded as if it was being spoken by a thousand voices at once, "I do not see anything worth...Besides that which I cannot touch."

....What she cannot touch?

"Hmm....That one is new?" Rossie said first eyeing the spectral Owl, "...I don't think I like this one Eli."

"...The girl who is half dead does not like the carrier of souls, who would have guessed." The Owl retorted back.

Wait what?

"Rena is very much alive, what are you saying?" Elizabeth said turning to the Owl.

"Her Soul is half dead, it is being healed. But she should have been dead years ago, around...Ten years ago? Somewhat around that time," The Owl stated turning its head towards Rena, it never moved its body at any point, even though its head turned 160°...

"Rena is not and will not die," Elizabeth plainly stated, "Not anytime soon if I have something to say about it."

"Of course Mistress," The Owl nodded towards Elizabeth, "What a silly thing to say, there is no natural way for a darling of the Goddess of Death to die."

"...Elizabeth is the what now?" Jenna said pointing at Elizabeth, "Her? Are you sure?"

"Let's not speak about that," Elizabeth said, sighing, "This one is...actually, did we get a name for you?"

"You have not granted this one with a name yet Mistress," The Owl said turning its attention back to Elizabeth, "Not that is needed, as this one will not be seen by many...and those that see it will forget as soon as they return to the circle."

"That is correct," The Owl stated.

"...when did you get Time?" Rossie said, turning to Elizabeth, "Did you sleep with someone else when we weren't looking?"

"Rossie?!?!?" Elizabeth sputtered, "I did not do such a thing! You can get these stupid gems without sleeping with people!"

Actually, Elizabeth had gotten all of them without sleeping with anyone!

"This one does not bend time," The Owl said from the side, "We are a concept, and as such, we exist outside time as a whole."

...That sounded....kind of bullshit; perhaps the stupid Owl was running out of phrases to sound mysterious?

Anyway, if it was the only one of its species, then the name would be more important, Owl...souls....greed.... Owl... Soul.... greed.....

"Iroha Kureha," Elizabeth stated, it sounded about right. Kinda Izanami-ish but well, Elizabeth was sure it would vibe with it.

"You have no idea what that means do you Eli-Eli," Rossie said from the side, "You only picked a nice sounding name from internet."

"It probably means the right thing," Rena said trusting in Elizabeth, like a good loving girlfriend should.

"Thank you Mistress, I shall give honor to the name you have provided," Iroha said bowing to Elizabeth, "Was that all?"

"Yeah, why did you call the bird?" Jenna said from the side eyeing the bird warily, "I don't like the vibes it gives me."

"You are safe, spare Anchor," Iroha said without turning to look at Jenna, Elizabeth… didn't want to deal with that just yet either.

"I called Iroha so that you could meet her and know that she was around…I moved forward with the fuse and creation of a new minion, and I'll check on what the power she granted is useful for…or not," Elizabeth said, focusing on the new well of power that was created from the fusing of Greed & Soul within her.

It felt…kind of hollow at the moment, perhaps it needed time to charge?

"And…?" Jenna said, pointing at the bird, "I assume that this has something to do with the plan to rescue Amelie?"

"Yeah…about that…" Elizabeth said sighing, "Aura? If you will."

"We can't do it yet," Aura stated plainly, "Mistress Soul is stronger now, but it is still weak. It is strong enough for it to allow a connection with the space node I believe Lady Amelia is in, but not strong enough to teleport her back or teleport anyone else there."

"...What will it take?" Jenna asked, "What do you need, Elizabeth?"

What did she need?

A ton of more help, more stability, a sturdier Soul…

"I am not sure," Elizabeth decided to not say any fo that of course.

"Can you make more of those minions?" Jenna pointed to Iroha, the Owl, who remained in her weird ghost-like branch. "Stabilize your soul further?"

"Maybe? I am not sure, there are some things I have hanging around but I'm not confident in the matches," Elizabeth answered sighing.

"...Is it…mine a problem?" Rossie said, clutching at her skirt, "I…I can offer it…if it would help."

Rossie was oddly tame this day…that was weird.

"No Rossie," Elizabeth said shaking her head, "I have already settled in what I will do with yours, and it will not help at this moment."

It would, but Rossie didn't need to know that; Elizabeth would make that fusion something special, she would feel bad for Amelie…Well, not really. She knew not the girl, so honestly. That was something she would not miss any sleepover

"So I assume that means you have other options?" Jenna asked, "What do you need for those? "

Other options? Yes, she did have. Now…how much could she disclose… without entering the feared territory that was info dumping.

"I am fusing the seven cardinal sins with elements," Elizabeth said it plainly, "My path of power seems to be tied to that, thanks to…a certain Asshole…"

Elizabeth really was walking the path of power that Alexanders had set up so long ago when he was standing in that ruined planet, the asshole had failed at whatever he had attempted and left Elizabeth with this.

And now that Elizabeth had used it, she was stuck with it. It was an easy way of power, so that was that. It helped that it matched Elizabeth to some degree…Even if she really didn't like the title that it had given her. Perhaps she would either earn a new one or a better one later.

"That is risky…some people have attempted it before," Jenna said, shaking her head.

"....they….all…..combust…..from…..overload…." Lily said helpfully from the side too.

"Yes, I noticed." Elizabeth said nodding, "But in my case it seems to be the right way to move forward. I am not sure if it is because of how my body was made(Or remade) or from my Soul…"

"....Well, if you Inherited some aspect of your Father's Unique Skill…." Jenna said in a small tone, "Or something from the peculiarities of your Mother's soul…"

Mother's Soul? Oh right…she wasn't normal either. Elizabeth had…never thought about how Mother's Soul looked, she hadn't the means to peek at it before, and when she could do it. Chances were Mother's Soul either was fixed…or so much more broken. But considering her past…It should have looked awful, right?

"I don't think I got much from either," Elizabeth said shrugging, "I mean, the looks must come from Mother…And my character must have come from Papa…but besides…why are you looking at me like that?"

"Eli-Eli….You are aware of how long it took me to be this good with healing magic?" Rossie asked, sighing, "Like…since how long I had to study?"

"I mean…you started in school, right? No, wait, you said you took some extracurricular classes before…so maybe a year more? So around four years?" Elizabeth asked confused.

"From when I was five, it was among the first things my Adoptive parents did when they noticed I had a talent for Healing Magic," Rossie said shaking her head, "I studied for almost ten years before coming to the MPI to be this good, and even then I was barely able to cast [Heal] and [Cure]. Most of the other things I learned with the extra motivation I got here."

That…. couldn't be right.

"Don't look at me, Eli," Rena said shaking her head, "I am not a Magic Girl. But I studied the sword and weapons from young too. Probably around three to five years old."

…..Right, Rena was around Akira, so that sounded about right.

"But…I got here in like two years? Maybe less?" Elizabeth said, confused, "It wasn't that hard…."

"If I didn't love you this much I would be very pissed at you Eli-Eli," Rossie said sighing once again, "I have told you and everyone how much of a genius you are."

"And trust me on this, at least your Father is smarter than he lets people think. So you have good genes. Your Mother is famous for being smart, but she is more like a parrot if anything." Jenna said smirking.

This was the second time someone said that…

"So, whatever. Maybe I am a daddy's girl, it changes nothing about my path of power. Trust me, I know better than anyone else how to move forward." Elizabeth said, grumbling, "The Gems are the way to go, and I can make them work; maybe I did get something besides….Okay, maybe I got many things from my parents, but whatever. That doesn't mean I didn't fight teeth and nails to get here."

"I am not saying anything like that Elizabeth," Jenna said trying to calm down Elizabeth, "What I mean is that you need to be careful, maybe one or two is fine, but if you start to fuse multiple Sin Gems…we need to be ready just in case."

That made Elizabeth look at her Crown of Sin, sitting there, all smug…with one, two, three, four….five? If she counted the combination she had planned for Lust.

"Elizabeth Starbright….how many have you fused?" Jenna asked after noticing Elizabeth's behavior.

"A…few….?" Elizabeth said in question marks.

"You have the weird birds, the shadow dragons, the lizards and now the Owl…If the Owl was the result of a fusion of Gems, then would that make four?" Rossie said not helpfully at all, "But your Soul hasn't wavered and seems to be more stable the more gems you fuse like this."

Yeah that!

"My soul really becomes a lot more whole the more we fuse!" Elizabeth said, nodding rapidly, "Really, I probably could do a new one right now! If I found the right Sin…Or complementary Element."

She needed a new Sin and a new Element to make the last two gems fusions. Sloth and something to match the remaining Sin she had…

But Sin Gems and weird Elemental Gems didn't grow in trees. So that was something to deal with later.

"Fine, so. You fused those things, and now you have a more sturdier soul? Is that it? Somehow your body and Soul have become more while everyone else has turned into madness?" Jenna asked annoyed.

"Well…It did also turn me to madness once?" Elizabeth said admitting her defeat, "It was the whole Debauchery Dragon thing where I was ruled by Pride and did questionable things…"

Elizabeth did not like that part of her life at all.

"But I got over it, and learned how to deal with it…also learned some important things about these things…" Elizabeth summoned her Crown, this time without any gem on it, "Like the fact that I can use this thing without actually slotting anything on it."

"...That….How do you have a Divine Treasure?" Jenna asked, eyeing the Crown of Sin, "I…I thought it was my imagination, and the presence was being diffused by all the Sin energy around it…But that is clearly a Divine Treasure."

"...Well, this is what helps me keep and maintain my Sin Gems and the allocated combinations, and the reason I got even that idea." Elizabeth said raising the Crown and pointing at the open slots for the Gems, "See? Two slots, one for the Sin and one for the Element."

"....I see….So what Sin is the one missing?" Jenna said eyeing the Crown carefully, it seemed as if the girl was waiting for it to bite Elizabeth's hand or something.

"Sloth," A new voice spoke from the door, the door that should have been closed, the door that led to the hallway outside of this very expensive apartment, "If I learned anything from the [Records] your Mother left, is that the one left thing you are missing is what I have."

"Oh…." Elizabeth said as she saw the person who had entered, quite rudely, to their conversation. "Long time no see…."

Elizabeth should have probably seen that one coming, if as they said Mother had left clues, then more than likely it was information that the [Progenitor of Magical Girls] had told Elizabeth too.

So then…How was she supposed to deal with this now?
