The liquid was colorless, transparent, thick, and viscous. Floating inside were several long, stringy legs. If you held it up in the dark, it even gave off a faint, eerie glow. After a few minutes of internal debate, he decided to give it a try. He’d invested so much in the lab, he might as well get some use out of it. He’d just drink half.Pinching his nose, he tried not to think about what unholy ingredients made up this goop, popped the cap, and tried to suck out a little bit of the liquid. Who knew it would be so thick you could practically chew it? It was like trying to bite through a living, foul-smelling, sewer-dwelling slime. His sleep quality was terrible, but with the potion's buff, at least he didn't have to worry about his stamina. He’d just have dark circles under his eyes.The next morning, Yang Yi was jolted awake by a knocking at his door. He had been in the middle of a nightmare and was so startled he immediately woke up, instinctively grabbing his gun and aiming it at the door.“Who is it?!”“It's me!” Suna’s voice came from the other side.Yang Yi relaxed. He had just been dreaming that spiders were crawling out from inside his body, eating his flesh until nothing was left. He'd woken up to find his clothes soaked in sweat.After calming down, he answered grumpily, “It’s the ass-crack of dawn, what are you knocking for?!”Suna sounded just as angry. “Why did you revoke my lab permissions?!”“Did you not see the message I sent you?”Only then did Suna check her log.Yang Yi took the opportunity to glance at her sanity meter. Good, it was almost full.Sanity: 76/80It recovered pretty fast.
