Two Elite Monsters (Bonus Update)

"How do you know?"

Dawn's Light was stunned for a moment and hurriedly drew the greatsword from his back.

However, before he finished speaking, the background music for entering battle immediately started ringing in his ears.

On a small clearing a few dozen meters ahead, more than a dozen grayish-white wolves suddenly leaped out.

"You clear the small mobs, I'll take on the two elites. No problem, right?"

Chen Zixuan drew a dagger, holding it in a reverse grip with her right hand, and turned to glance at Dawn's Light.

"Two? Can you really handle them alone? Do you want me to drag one away for you?"

Dawn's Light sounded a little worried.

"No need. Just take care of your own people."

With that, Chen Zixuan charged straight into the wolf pack.

The initial part of the plan went smoothly. Chen Zixuan threw her dagger—there was a flash of silver, and before the others even noticed, the Wolf King fell to the ground, a gray-white damage value popping up above its head.

However, just as she was about to finish off the second Wolf King in close combat, the giant wolf's right claw suddenly glowed with a faint red light.

Only then did she realize her forward momentum had carried her right into the Wolf King's skill range—just one meter away.

After a brief charge-up, the Wolf King lashed out with a claw, a red streak slicing through the air straight for her chest.

She also wanted to save [Night Raid] as her trump card, so she couldn't use it now.

In a flash, Chen Zixuan dropped to her knees, arched her back until it was parallel to the ground, and slid right under the Wolf King's claws, narrowly dodging the blow.

In the distance, a Sharpshooter player happened to see Chen Zixuan's dodge and was so shocked that his arrow missed the mark, striking a teammate's knee instead.

"No way? You can play like that?!"

Chen Zixuan had no time to care about others' reactions. After dodging the Wolf King's swipe, she sprang up-nimbly like a panther, leaping onto the Wolf King's back, aiming for the vulnerable neck joint, and drove her dagger deep into the vital spot!

With a single ordinary attack, Chen Zixuan stabbed right into the Wolf King's artery. The once fully healthy Wolf King was instantly left at death's door!

Howling in pain, the Wolf King boosted all surrounding Forest Wolves, giving them extra attack and agility stats.

But Chen Zixuan didn't stop there. She pulled out the dagger and stabbed down hard again, ending the struggling elite monster's life.

With both Wolf Kings dead, the remaining Forest Wolves posed no threat. The Dawn Squad's combat prowess was already high—ahead of regular players—and in less than ten seconds, they wiped out the remaining wolves.

"No wonder you can solo kill a world-class boss. You're seriously strong."

Looking at the two monster corpses, Dawn's Light couldn't help but be impressed as he smiled at Chen Zixuan.

After all, these were two level 5 elite monsters. Even with their squad of more than ten, it would have taken a lot of health potions and time together.

Yet the girl before him had killed both in seconds, without even a scratch to show for it—a rare feat indeed.

Chen Zixuan didn't respond, just smiled faintly.

They were all adults by now—there was no need to take flattery seriously.
