"Everyone, stay alert and establish a defensive line centered around the Central Tower, ready to engage in battle at any moment!"
Within the Wizard Academy, the command from the principal's office quickly transmitted through the temporary Mind Network set up by the Soul Wizards to the ears of every wizard inside the campus.
Information flows like the wind; no matter how tightly you try to hold it, it inevitably slips through.
News of the war from above spread at an astonishing speed. Although the Crown Thrones had issued orders to control the flow of information, their orders at most could only prevent the news of civil war from reaching the front lines.
As for news at the rear, no matter their wish to contain it, they couldn't.
There was no way around it; the news of civil war was just too shocking.
Since the end of the Wizard Great War tens of thousands of years ago, no large-scale conflict had broken out within the Wizard Civilization.
The largest conflict was at most something on the scale of the United Academy War.
And as the Civilizational War commenced, new wizards and Subhuman Wizards became the main members of the Wizard Civilization.
From birth, these individuals faced external wars; internal conflicts were distant history to them.
Though these new-generation wizards hadn't experienced civil war, they possessed a wealth of combat experience. Upon discovering potential danger, the teachers within the Wizard Academy immediately began constructing defenses.
Especially the academies belonging to the Miracle School and the Curse School.
Even though the Wizard Academy typically taught all seven schools simultaneously, because wizards could learn from multiple schools, it wasn't uncommon for a wizard from one school to also teach the six other disciplines.
Under the principal's command, the teachers inside the academy promptly began the construction of defenses.
Most of the academy's teachers returned from the front lines as veterans due to multiple revivals. Although they hadn't previously faced off against wizards, their rich knowledge allowed them to quickly construct a defense system targeting the Wizard Army.
Teachers issued standard magic wands to students while they donned their teaching-use Alchemy Power Armor.
In this era, Alchemy Power Armor was a wizard's greatest asset in battle.
Between a wizard with Power Armor and one without, the one without will certainly perish.
This wasn't even limited by level.
A One Ring Wizard wearing Fine Alchemy Power Armor, even a Three Rings Wizard would have to face death.
In the principal's office, the headmaster silently activated the Academy Barrier.
This barrier was originally prepared for the Galaxy Mayflies invading the Wizard World, but unexpectedly, their first real battle was against the very wizards who created them.
Boom!
As the barrier activated, a massive fire meteor descended from the sky, slamming fiercely into the barrier.
Inside the Central Tower of the academy, a wizard utilizing Magic Equipment quickly identified the owner of the fire meteor.
Not more than ten kilometers outside the academy, a Shaping Wizard resembled a Flame Giant leading a Wizard Army advancing toward them.
In their ranks, a reconnaissance wizard even spotted a vehicle almost like a moving fortress—an armored car.
"Damn, an Alchemy Assault Vehicle! Wasn't this thing discontinued long ago?"
Recognizing the assault vehicle, an elderly wizard exclaimed but quickly realized,
"No, these guys actually brought historical exhibits into play!"
The Alchemy Assault Vehicle was a special barrier-breaking weapon developed by the Tesla Research Institute in the mid-war period, but after barrier vibration rounds were developed, this weapon quickly fell out of use.
Only some Wizard Academy alchemy departments kept a few as historical exhibits.
Just as they brought out the teaching-use Alchemy Power Armor, wizards from other schools also brought out their teaching-use weapons.
Inside the armored car, several Alchemy Wizards directly connected their bodies to the machine, becoming the mechanical soul managing the hulking entity. Dozens of Three Rings Wizards in Alchemy Power Armor stood ready, waiting to break through the barrier and sow destruction.
"Assault team, attention! Your primary target is to destroy the enemy academy's barrier generator. Secondly, clear out the Miracle School's wizards and seize their library."
"Note, the students inside are not critical. Command suggests letting the Soul Wizards deal with them; refrain from pointless slaughter."
Hearing the orders from the academy's command center through the communication system, the assault team wizards showed no reaction.
They were seasoned wizards with hundreds of years of warfare experience, their hearts tempered like stone by war. Although they were not entirely willing to fight against their own kind,
orders were orders.
A soldier's duty is to obey orders.
"Taka, leave those students to you," a wizard spoke over the channel, "Be careful, if the energy level is too high, these kids won't survive as wizards."
"Failing to become a wizard might not be such a bad thing," Taka whispered, "Not becoming a wizard means not going to the front line. To live a life in the rear might surpass eighty percent of wizards."
"Even so," the captain's voice suddenly turned stern, "relinquish your thoughts, don't do unnecessary things, unless you want time behind bars."
"The Law Enforcement Wizards of the Judicial Department may not participate in this civil war, but they remain under the Miracle Crown..."
Boom!
The intense impact caused the wizards inside the assault vehicle to jolt abruptly.
"What's the situation?"
"The other side is attacking us. Our defense is somewhat... compromised; it's Abyssal pollution!"
Inside the Academy, a wizard who resembled an Abyss Demon, with arms that looked like cannons, lowered his arm. Just now, a dark red fleshy ball successfully broke through the defense of the Alchemy Assault Vehicle, damaging its main body.
"Abyssal pollution has been deployed. Prepare for fire coverage."
"Headquarters received, stay safe."
Although the modern wizards have a bit less shadowy hue compared to those in the past, the fundamental nature of the wizard race has never changed.
Rationality and madness coexist in the heart of every member of this race.
Although the Wizard Civilization strictly forbids wizards from privately conducting Abyss pollution experiments, the Miracle Crown is an Abyss Dominator of the Abyss Civilization.
...
"Aren't you eager to join the battle?"
The voice of the Swarm Dominator echoed in Richard's ear.
"We've already been branded as traitors. I heard some people even pulled a legion from the front lines, intending to wipe us out completely."
"Then let them pull," Richard replied unhurriedly, "If they dare to attack, I permit you to eliminate them directly."
Hearing Richard's response, the Swarm Dominator's voice showed a hint of surprise.
"Oh? I thought you would ask me to show some restraint."
"Swarm, this is war."
Richard's voice was like the wind on a snowy mountain, cold and sharp, like icicles.
"Besides, the front line legion leaving their post is a crime deserving death. Since they did this, they deserve to die."
Recalling the front line legion requires a direct order from the Crown Throne. But whether it is Richard or other Crowns, it is impossible to recall the army at this time.
The true battleground in an internal battle is among these higher-ups, and whoever wins, they must continue the war against the Civilization Devourer; recalling the front line legion would not bring them any benefit.
The Swarm Dominator paused and then asked, "When do you plan to start the war? I can feel that there are Dominators already looking for me."
"Half a month," Richard replied after thinking for a moment.
Inside him, dense dimensional lines were constantly weaving through his body. The density of these dimensional lines is such that only a microscope can reveal them, and their function is to strengthen all of Richard's cells, enhancing those cells' dimensional strength by another level.
Richard does not know the true strength of the Alchemy and Shaping Dominators.
However, these two Dominators are both veteran Breaking Limit Sovereigns and also Dominators of Spiritual Evolution, whose strength is absolutely unfathomable.
Richard even suspects that both Dominators have actually explored the starting point of the road of Heavenly Destiny.
After all, their battle displays all manifest the world as their appearance, heading down this path makes it hard not to walk the road of Heavenly Destiny.
If they have indeed explored something, it would indeed be difficult for him to directly subdue them.
Richard's pursuit is not to defeat the two Truth Wizards, but to crush these two Truth Wizards in terms of strength, making them realize that they absolutely cannot win.
Only in this way will they not engage in petty tricks later on.
Civilization is composed of individuals, and whether it's the Truth Council or the Alliance Council, their orders ultimately need to be implemented by individuals.
There are too many opportunities for underhanded actions in this process.
"Lord Dominator, the things you needed are ready."
As Richard pondered, the voice of the Abyss World's Guardian suddenly echoed in his ear.
The "Action" with limb tentacles stepped out of the Void, bowing in respect to Richard.
"Oh? It was ready in just three days?"
Richard was slightly surprised, the things he asked for were quite complex.
The voice of Action carried a hint of pride, "If you wanted other things, I might still need to gather them, but for unowned Divine Statues, the Abyss has plenty of those."
The unowned Divine Statue was what Richard tasked Action with collecting.
In the information given to him by Mo Ke and the Deerhead Mo Ke, they both mentioned something named Palm Buddha/Demon Country. This method was created by the Ten Directions Buddha Land and the Endless Demon Kingdom to solve the problem of being unable to acquire dimensional power from Civilization Dimensions after the dimensional materialization.
Both these methods involve raising clans within the dimension, constructing a community using religion, and using the Power of Faith to condense something similar to a Civilization Dimension, intercepting the dimensional power it generates.
In other words, this pseudo-Civilization Dimension is a fraud.
It masquerades as a Civilization Dimension, intercepting the dimensional power that should have gone to the Civilization Dimension, using it as the source of dimensional power for the owner of the Palm Buddha/Demon Country.
Although this method cannot enjoy the share boost brought by the growth of Civilization Dimensions, it likewise is not restricted by shares.
As long as the number of clans raised is large enough, the Dominator's dimensional power will be continuous.
