The Father of Origins.
Noah himself felt the heaviness of the title pressing down on his chest and his mind as The Records screamed it into his skull. It was no simple matter, he realized, to be the father of beings like Origins.
They were special, after all. Beings who were the very personification of concepts and so had absolute control over them.
They were born at the top of power. Lucky, one would believe, if they didn't know the cost, that is. After all, they were limited to never go further than their birthright.
It was despairing to many of them, for living such a long life without progressing a single step forward was a different kind of agony few would ever truly understand.
Noah, too, would never understand their pain.
That was exactly why people like Legacy Bearers existed. For different from the Origins, they could still take the concept further than what was initially birthed.
And those who succeeded were as dreadful as few in this universe, their power able to shake the entire universe, making them worthy opponents of Progenitors.
And that was what Noah would soon be. But different in a kind of way.
He smiled faintly, understanding the effect that came with his new title.
The Father of Origins title gave him the ability to involve the characteristics of the Origins into his bloodline.
Meaning, it could take the very thing that made the Origins special and add it inside his Elysiari bloodline. And what made them special was simply their authority over their own concept.
So if Noah added their specialty into his blood, it would make it so anyone fighting against his family by using either Fate, Destiny, or Causality would find themselves unable to use their power correctly in front of them.
'Crazy.' He thought, 'This family of mine is becoming more obscene as time goes.'
It was honestly becoming scary at this level. Yet he only grinned wider, for that had always been his goal.
To create such a family that the simple utterance of their name would make the universe fold upon itself in trepidation. Anything less would be an insult.
"Daddy!" Caus suddenly called, making Noah halt his swirling thoughts and look at him.
It was weird to be called daddy, he mused briefly. But somehow, he liked the sound of it.
Then his eyes settled on Caus and he noticed that there was something hovering just above his outstretched palm. It was a small ball of clustered brown threads rotating around itself continuously. Each full rotation made the thread of causality around the space and inside Noah's body rattle sporadically.
It was not only Caus. Fated and Destiny, too, were the same. For Fated, it was only one silver string of thread so infinitely thin that even Noah needed to squint his eyes to be able to see it.
The thread was undulating softly like waves on an ocean. Around the thread were visions of multiple realities stacked upon each other.
Noah found rather disturbing scenes inside some of them. Universe exploding? Beings with no eyes and noses attacking the universe?
Questions began to sprout inside his mind only to die down mysteriously as his eyes rested upon Destiny.
For Destiny, it was one shaped like a key. It was blue in color and made of condensed blue threads. Looking at it, Noah could see the destiny of beings he didn't even know.
These were the three Origins of Fate, Destiny, and Causality.
And with each of them being wide open, his white realm was straining under their weight. Not only his white realm, the whole world of Laeh was shaking because of them.
Only then did Noah remember that Laeh was still a middle-ranked world. She needed to evolve, he decided.
"Here, take it! You better keep your promise, O dear father!" Fated growled with sarcasm in her voice.
"Sweet father. Here." Destiny said while, once again, nodding slowly with a soft smile.
Noah didn't hesitate. With a beckoning gesture of his hand, all three origins drifted towards him and stopped an inch from his face.
He stared at them and felt the overwhelming and dense pure energy of Fate, Destiny, and Causality. His lips curled up slowly, "Thank you, darlings." He whispered to his new children.
Caus blushed, turning his face away in shyness, hiding his face with his small hand.
Fated scoffed while snapping her head away, her hands on her flat chest. A hint of blush visible on her face.
Destiny nodded slowly, smiling.
'You know what to do, right?' He said inwardly.
[Of course.] Providence eagerly responded.
At the same time, Noah linked himself with Laeh, 'Lovely sister, it's time for you to be a high-ranked world. Take the core of Thorn, use the primordial energy of the universe and evolve now. I mean, immediately!'
Laeh was swimming in a multicolored pool peacefully when Noah's voice echoed deep inside her head and startled her. She immediately stood up, water dripping down her body, and ran to begin the process, her face bearing a wide open smile.
"FINALLY!!!" She shrieked in joy, as she took the core of Thorn and started the process.
At the same time, Noah spoke to his wives, "Laeh is going to upgrade. Please, lovely wives, take care of the people for me, okay? Solaris, especially you."
His voice interrupted Yuki's gloating for winning the contest, making them immediately act, preparing themselves to appease the people, with Yuki still openly mocking them.
They almost ganged up on her to beat her senseless. But they would not.
They were respectable women, they constantly muttered inside their mind with twitching lips.
Having instructed Laeh to start the process of evolution and warned his wives, Noah began the process to create the body for Providence immediately.
[Let's begin!] she bellowed, and began to instruct Noah on the process.
The new children of Noah stood aside, watching this scene with overwhelming curiosity.
Suddenly, the whole Laeh began to tremble. Anywhere inside of it was shaking and at the same time slowly being upgraded. If one could look at Laeh from an outside perspective, they could see Laeh growing in both size and aura.
Before, the world was all white when seen from outside. But now there were other colors mixed within, and phenomena like storms of silver threads and golden frost began to envelop the whole Laeh.
Laeh herself was growing, her previous childlike body steadily stretching until the body of a woman around 18 years old came to be.
She was stunning to say the least.
The folks all around the world began to worry and wonder what was happening but immediately settled down after the wives spoke within their minds, easing them. After that, instead of crying in fear, they began to cry in joy as they kneeled on the ground, forehead kissing the soil, and prayed to the Absolute Deity.
They prayed even harder as they witnessed in real time how the forests were becoming denser and greener. How the gravity around them slowly increased in weight with the air upgrading in taste and quality.
They felt the cleansing of mana, becoming more pure and dense.
Next a very distinctive power seeped deep through their bodies, increasing their talent by leaps and bounds, making the ones unable to awaken previously suddenly awaken instantly.
The white sky expanded even further, with three suns spawning on it. One silver, another white, another crimson. Then darkness shrouded the world and night came instantly, showing two moons crawling to step into the sky, one golden and the other blue.
The suns were not shaped the same, and the moons too. Each one different and unique.
The night settled down, letting morning come once more.
New territories began to be added all around, some of them overflowing with the weight of destiny and luck.
At the same time, Noah began the fusion of the origins together, added to that with his own blood and the very core of Providence, one shaped like a woman made of thread.
The process was strenuous, with beads of sweat dripping down his forehead in a worrying cascade. But Noah pushed on, causing the white realm to completely collapse on itself yet…
"Sweet father. Help!" Destiny shouted with her naturally weak voice, before Fated and Caus sprang into action and began to help their father stabilize the white realm.
Noah smiled amidst the process, then focused as space fractured like glass, with time deciding to flee completely the scene and making his surroundings timeless.
As it continued, a growing light colored in all types of colors began to dance between the palms of Noah.
The light increased more and more until it started to take a very defining shape.
Thunderous wind began to smack all over the white realm. Not only there, but also the whole world.
Lightning of all colors and danger levels, winds sharp enough to cut through concept, a deluge of water dense enough to pierce through the thickest skin of a dragon…
All of them began to rave all over Laeh, making only the wives capable of reducing the danger by acting. And they did so perfectly, causing the shout of Silver Goddesses all over Laeh.
This situation showed the approaching end of the world rank-up but also of the formation of Providence's body.
And just as expected, soon everything stopped abruptly as if nothing had ever happened.
The world settled down peacefully.
And in front of Noah, the light dissipated like smoke under a howling wind, showing a being.
A woman.
Noah's world-heart skipped an unconscious beat as his eyes settled on her eyes.
At the same time, he felt an immeasurable increase in his power because of Laeh's successful rank-up.
He staggered back a bit because of the unexpected surge of power, while seeing the woman — Providence herself in flesh and blood — smiling at him cockishly.
"Finally we can see and touch each other…"
Her smile widened.
"…My Noah."
