Zombie Bodyguard

Chapter 1202: Royal Women's College (Part 1)

The jewelry exhibition lasted until the evening. Gradually, people left while others entered, but Charlotte never appeared again. As for Yuwen Luofei, she also did not appear after the meeting on the rooftop.

The entire day's meals were provided by the Royal College of Art. Lin Tian, Miss, and Secretary Xu had lunch at the school and only left in the afternoon, while the royal family members and mayors had left long before.

When exiting the school, there were quite a few reporters outside. No reporters were allowed into this jewelry exhibition, nor were the guests allowed to take photos inside.

This is why many famous jewels, despite their reputations, have very few circulated photos; the public hasn't even seen the pictures. Such high-level jewels always remain circulated within certain circles.

The three of them weren't public figures in England, so they smoothly got through the wall of reporters without being chased down and blocked.

When they returned to the hotel, Lin Tian felt relieved all over. He and Miss both took a breath and then exchanged a smile, evidently showing that Miss wasn't too fond of such scenes either.

"You're used to being free and relaxed, making you accompany me for a day to attend such a jewelry exhibition must have been tiring for you." Xiao Manxue said with a hint of apology.

Lin Tian shrugged casually and said, "Miss is the one who's had a tough time. I was just wandering around, but Miss had to deal with those foreigners."

"Didn't you ask me this morning where we're going tomorrow? I've received an invitation from my mentor; I'm going to visit the school tomorrow." Xiao Manxue said.

"School? Which school, the Royal College of Art again?" Lin Tian asked, intrigued.

Xiao Manxue shook her head and said, "I once studied abroad in Wudu, at the England Royal Women's College."

"Royal Women's College? I don't think I've heard of that school. I'm familiar with the top ten universities in England, like the famous Oxford University, Cambridge University, and Imperial College, but never heard of the Royal Women's College. With Miss's talent, ordinary universities wouldn't be your thing anyway."

Lin Tian was somewhat surprised, not expecting Miss to be an exchange student. But thinking about it, it made sense. Which wealthy families' children don't study abroad? However, this "Women's College" she mentioned seemed quite odd.

Nowadays, just because something is prefixed with "Royal" doesn't mean it's prestigious; some have nothing to do with the Royal family at all, just a gimmick to fool those who don't understand.

There's a type of university called a diploma mill, which isn't certified by national-level accreditation organizations. Their names sound impressive, like Mi Country Newton University, Mi Country Global University, Mi Country Asia University, Mi Country Central University.

There are also ones in England, like Federation College, which sounds sky-high impressive, and there are quite a few domestically as well. These schools even sound more impressive than those with "Royal" labels, but they can't change their essence as diploma mills, lacking national qualification accreditation and having poor educational standards, fundamentally money scams.

Lin Tian instinctively assumed England Royal Women's College was a diploma mill. There have been statistics done by the media before that schools with names containing "Global," "International," "Pacific," and other grand words are ninety percent diploma mills.

Xiao Manxue seemed to have seen through Lin Tian's thoughts and smiled, "It's nothing like you think. The Royal Women's College is a school for people with special abilities, and it only admits girls."

"I understand now. No wonder Miss knows about the existence of Guardians. This Women's College must be a school that trains Guardians. It's similar to the Ancient Martial Artist sects in our country, except there are no sect restrictions abroad, allowing for the formation of such schools where you can learn abilities from any sect." Lin Tian said in surprise, his mind suddenly clear.

After seeing these Guardians abroad, Lin Tian had a question in his heart about how these Guardians learned their abilities. Since there are no sects abroad, it turns out they learn at special schools.

In the school, each teacher has their unique skills, sometimes from different sects, but students can follow one or multiple teachers depending on their talents to learn skills, learning techniques from various sects simultaneously.

This would be impossible domestically. An Ancient Martial Artist joining a sect can only learn that sect's cultivation techniques. If he learns other sect techniques without permission from the sect or master, the consequences could be punishment at best, or the abolishment of his martial arts and expulsion from the sect at worst.

Lin Tian shared his speculation with Miss, who nodded and said, "You're basically right. You can learn different skills at the school, something that's impossible in Huaxia's sects. But you got one thing wrong; the school's purpose isn't to train Guardians. It's just that only those students interested in Guardians become Guardians."

Lin Tian nodded in understanding. Huaxia's Demon Exorcists are the same. It's said that their duty is to vanquish demons and uphold righteousness, but not every Demon Exorcist has that awareness. Some even abuse their abilities and do evil.

"Judging by your expression, you seem quite interested in such a school. Do you want to visit it too?" Xiao Manxue asked with a smile.

"It sounds pretty interesting, of course, I'd like to see it." Lin Tian said rightfully, although he had another motive. Since such a school teaches combat skills and has students becoming Guardians, maybe he could find something out.

Xiao Manxue just smiled and said, "You can come along, but whether you can get through the school gates depends on your skills."

"Since it's called a Women's College, does it forbid male entry? Or is the gatekeeper a super-powerful expert?" Lin Tian asked curiously.

"You'll know when you get there." Xiao Manxue said with a slight smile, playing coy, before going into a suite with Secretary Xu, leaving Lin Tian intrigued.

He returned to his room, which was empty as Rossi hadn't come back yet. In the evening, while he was on the balcony cultivating and absorbing moonlight energy, a large bat suddenly flew in and landed in front of the balcony. After a swirl of smoke, the bat transformed into a blonde man, who was Rossi.

Rossi, just freshly transformed, swayed unsteadily, almost falling. Lin Tian quickly reached out to support him.

"You're injured, what happened?" Lin Tian frowned, simultaneously raising his right hand, letting a drop of zombie blood rise from his palm. With a flick, the zombie blood flew into Rossi's mouth.

Rossi closed his eyes and took a deep breath, a black aura rising from his body, which absorbed back into him after a few minutes. When he opened his eyes again, the previously listless eyes had become deep and spirited.

"Thank you, Brother Tian!" Rossi said gratefully, kneeling on one knee. In the past, whenever he got injured, he'd have to fend for himself; those higher-level vampires would never care about his life or death, except for Lin Tian.

Whether it's a zombie or a vampire, the loss of vital blood damages cultivation, but whenever he got hurt, Lin Tian would always be there to help. Compared to him, Charlotte seemed much more ruthless towards her subordinates.
