Zombie Bodyguard

Chapter 1372: The Female Elder Is Stunned

Under normal circumstances, a girl faced with such a thing would surely scream loudly and then quickly cover herself up.

Asina did not panic and scream "Pervert" like an ordinary girl; she met Lin Tian's gaze for three seconds and unexpectedly began to dress calmly in front of the camera, her enchanting posture capable of stirring any man's desire.

Lin Tian's eyes widened at the sight—indeed, she was the Female Elder, unmatched in her calm composure. The Female Elder quickly dressed and then gave Lin Tian one last look before turning off the camera with a snap.

What a pity, Lin Tian thought regretfully, but he wasn't in a rush. He sat on the sofa, waiting for the Female Elder to appear.

In less than half an hour, footsteps sounded outside the door. Lin Tian stood up, turned around, and saw two women walking in; the alluring one was Asina, and the one with a serious expression was Luo Lin.

Seeing Lin Tian, Luo Lin's eyes fluctuated intensely; she opened her mouth as if to speak, but ultimately held back.

Asina walked up to Lin Tian, circled him once, scrutinizing him thoroughly for a while before speaking: "I didn't expect you to come back alive?"

"Why did you think I was dead?" Lin Tian replied calmly.

"The men taken by that woman have never survived." Asina said coldly, her frostiness naturally directed at the woman she mentioned.

Lin Tian offered no explanation but calmly said, "That woman wants to see you."

"Charlotte wants to see me?" Asina, who had remained calm, had a moment of fierce emotional fluctuation, then her gaze turned sharp: "Why does she want to see me? And why didn't she kill you?"

"You'll know when you go, provided Elder Asina dares to go," Lin Tian challenged slightly, smiling.

Asina's brow moved imperceptibly, then she coldly said, "If I don't see her, it will appear I'm afraid of her. Tell me, where is that woman?"

"Please follow me, Elder Asina," Lin Tian said with a formal gesture, smiling.

He walked out first, passing by Luo Lin, noticing her complex expression. Lin Tian said nothing and brushed past her, with Luo Lin watching his back, her eyes filled with a faint sadness.

"Luo Lin, leave, you don't need to follow me anymore," Asina said to her, as if bidding farewell.

"I'm not leaving; I want to follow the Elder forever," Luo Lin said resolutely, then her face turned slightly unwell, softly saying, "The Elder will encounter..."

"Danger, right?" Asina's face remained peaceful, but her tone was firm: "The moment Lin Tian appeared again, the danger had already begun, but it's time Charlotte and I settle things after all these years."

Having said that, she walked out, no longer insisting on Luo Lin leaving. The two women followed Lin Tian, taking the elevator straight to the top floor.

The rooftop was vast and spacious, sunlight spilling across the entire surface. In the middle stood Charlotte and two others. Asina's appearance caused the two female Blood Clan's gazes to collide.

"We've been fighting for roughly two hundred years, yet we haven't seen each other for over fifty years," Asina spoke first, her eyes fixed solely on Charlotte.

Lin Tian was surprised; these two female Blood Clan had been openly and covertly battling for two hundred years. Lin Tian wanted to say, isn't it tiresome fighting all the time? But then, having infinite life, if they don't find something to do, they might go insane from loneliness.

"Fifty-five years," Charlotte said calmly.

"Why are you looking for me? To kill me?" Asina sighed briefly, then went straight to the point, filled with tension from the second sentence.

Contrary to Asina's expectations, Charlotte answered indifferently: "I don't need to kill you. Your current self is not my match, nor my target."

The words came naturally, devoid of any emotion or disdain, as if merely stating a fact. Yet it was this tone that provoked Asina. If Charlotte had used a sarcastic or disdainful tone, Asina could ignore it, but it was precisely this natural tone that struck her.

"Am I a match? We'll find out if we fight again," Asina said angrily, feeling herself dropped a rank—a status she couldn't accept.

Charlotte remained unmoving, but her back shifted, and a pair of massive bat wings unfurled, sharp claw hooks, gold and silver alternating patterns, glistening in the sunlight, also dazzling Asina's eyes.

Taken aback in her anger, Asina froze and then widened her eyes, staring intently at the golden markings on Charlotte's bat wings.

Luo Lin's eyes showed fear, sensing an irresistible pressure from Charlotte; her mind only containing two words: Prince!

Prince! Luo Lin murmured, her legs weakened, about to kneel, but suddenly felt a tight grip on her arm, supported by a force. She turned to see Lin Tian, who had appeared beside her, holding her arm.

"Charlotte, you... you actually advanced..." After a while, Asina finally uttered, still stuttering.

A rival entangled for two hundred years, originally evenly matched, even as leaders and elders, the difference in strength wasn't too vast, but between a Prince and an Elder, it was a quality leap.

To witness the opponent suddenly advance to Prince level, Asina's feelings were understandably shocking, disbelief, psychological collapse—perhaps all.

"I only regained my memory, then killed the Blood Clan who turned me into one. When your bloodline is liberated, you'll experience that leap," Charlotte didn't hide the reason for her advancement.

But this astonished Asina further; Charlotte could actually break free from the bloodline bondage—knowing that under its hold, one could never kill the Blood Clan that turned them.

"How did you do it?" Asina steadied her inner turmoil, asking with a slight tremble and expectation.

Many Blood Clan clans use bloodline bondage to control servants and inferior Blood Clan, but if they could break free and counterattack, the chaos caused in Blood Clan Alliance would be great—something even Princes couldn't remain calm about.

Charlotte offered no answer but looked at Lin Tian, blinking playfully: "Master, she's asking how you did it."

Asina was stunned again, and Luo Lin too, both staring blankly at Lin Tian, Asina stammering: "Did Charlotte just... just call you what?"
