Staring at the apocalyptic scene before them, everyone felt a chill rise from the soles of their feet to the crown of their heads.

Although everyone knew that the relics contained numerous dangers, the exact nature and extent of these dangers were unknown to most. Exotic beasts were merely creatures of legend.

For decades since the opening of the relics, no one had ever heard of anyone provoking an exotic beast. Naturally, if someone had stirred such a beast, they would have met their end with no remains to speak of, and hence, no news could have been spread.

Therefore, when a grotesque exotic beast with blood-red eyes suddenly appeared in everyone's sight, their minds went blank, their legs trembled, and they were utterly devoid of fighting spirit.

"Run!"

Someone shouted, leading the charge in a desperate retreat. The shout snapped everyone out of their shock, and without hesitation, they turned and fled, eyes wide with fear.

No one had the slightest thought of confronting such a powerful, earth-shattering exotic beast directly.

Huang Dong, who had previously managed to calm everyone with words and a mix of authority and persuasion, now faced this terrifying beast and the sudden collapse of order. He was so anxious his eyes nearly burst, yet was powerless.

In Huang Dong's temporary team, only three were at the Entering Dao Realm Peak, aside from Xu Fan, the others being two girls, one of whom was now targeted.

"Help me!"

The girl was terrified, her face ashen, screaming desperately in hopes that the people around her would lend a hand.

Not a single person even turned their head, and Huang Dong, their leader, acted as if he hadn't heard. In the blink of an eye, he had sprinted to the front of the group, his speed unmatched.

The girl barely had time to make any futile struggle or even cry out in despair as the beast's claw landed on her back.

Like a drop of water merging into the sea, she was instantly swallowed by the rolling earthen waves.

What was even more horrifying was that the beast did not pause at all, as if it had casually swatted an ant, continuing to bear down on the crowd.

"Oh my God! Run!"

This scene plunged everyone's hearts into despair. Without holding back, they fled with all their might, as if their lives depended on it.

But just then, someone in the group suddenly stopped in his tracks—it was Xu Fan!

To Xu Fan, although this exotic beast was powerful and unfathomable, it was not invincible!

Xu Fan had been fleeing with everyone else to conceal his strength, but now he had no choice but to stop.

Nearly twenty people were fleeing desperately, and the sudden stop by a single figure in a combat stance was too conspicuous to ignore.

However, when they saw it was Xu Fan who had stopped, they all displayed a look of inevitability.

With Xu Fan's strength at the Entering Dao Realm Peak, he was the weakest among them. Even if he continued to run, he would likely fall to the beast's claws, so stopping to seek a chance made sense.

"Kid! If you want to die, just do it without dragging us down!"

"Yeah, hurry up and die! Stop giving orders!"

No one was willing to believe Xu Fan. While the beast was fast, they weren't slow either, and by scattering, they believed they had a good chance of survival, even if the beast caught one of them.

But now, seeing their heartlessness, Xu Fan decided he owed them no kindness!
