Chapter 662: Dojo Crush

Deep in the night, several figures perched on top of a nearby building, overlooking the Martial Redemption dojo.

"Are we sure we should be doing this?"

A soft-voiced woman asked.

"By the orders of the master, we shall do it."

The arrogant student, who met Kiernan with Ryozen today, said.

Rattle~ Rattle~ Rattle~

Next to him, a masked man was shaking a spray bottle.

They then made up their mind, hopped off the roof, and while the arrogant student and soft-voiced woman started trashing up the front gate, the masked man started graffiting the walls of the dojo.

"This is good… very good."

The arrogant student said with a quiet laugh escaping his lips.

The following morning.

"Who could've done this?"

Aoi asked with a frown on her face as she was standing outside with Kiernan, looking at the mess left by someone.

The walking pedestrians caught a glimpse of the mess, shook their heads, and kept walking by, minding their own business.

The gate and fence were graffitied—there were vulgar words and crude drawings all over them—and there were also trash bags thrown into the yard.

"I have a hunch."

Kiernan said, and he then slid his hands inside his pockets. He then turned around and started walking down the street.

"Where are you going?"

Aoi asked worryingly.

She didn't like the look on her fiancee's face. It was certain that he was going to do something. She didn't like what that something was going to be.

Afternoon rolled around.

With a backpack slung over his shoulder, Jock arrived at the dojo and saw the beautiful Aoi scrubbing off the graffiti off the walls.

"What happened?"

Jock asked in surprise.

"Vandals."

Aoi said with a wry smile, dipped the sponge into the water bucket, and continued scrubbing.

"…This is unfortunately a common tactic by rival dojos. They want to make a new dojo to look as unappetizing as possible and give them a reputation of being unsafe.

"No students want to come to a dojo that is being attacked like this."

Jock said.

"Isn't this a criminal act? No one has been caught doing this before?"

Aoi asked.

"They don't arrest anybody for doing this. The lawmen leave this matter to the dojo masters to handle. It can usually lead to dojo war, which isn't as serious as it sounds.

"They don't just go trashing each other's dojos but handle the war like martial artists, in a fighting ring.

"The best students of each dojo duke it out."

Jock said.

"Oh."

Aoi nodded, then looked at him, and said with an apologetic smile.

"I am sorry you have to bother yourself with this. My Kiernan is not around at the moment, and I don't know when he will be back."

"That is fine. I can help cleaning."

Jock said, rolled up his sleeves, and went to the yard to get rid of the trash bags that were piled up.

"Where did master go?"

He asked while taking the trash out to the garbage dumpster.

"I don't know… He has been gone for a while."

Aoi said worryingly.

He had been gone since morning, and there hadn't been a single sighting of him. It really started to make her worry.

Very late in the night, Crucifal Street, Seishin Gakuen Dojo.

Amidst the light of the street lamps, the tired-looking students started pouring out of the dojo, starting to head back home.

With that, the instructors finished cleaning up the place and bowed to master Ryozen before locking the doors and heading out.

Lastly, Ryozen walked to the parking lot, got into his car, and drove off into the night. The rear lights of his car disappeared into the distance.

At that moment, standing at the tallest peak of Crucifal Street, which was a cross of Montrael Cathedral, Kiernan looked down at the vanishing figures.

"…You want to trash my dojo? Don't blame me if I do this."

He leaped into the air and appeared high in the sky. The Seishin Gakuen dojo building was right below him.

The Seishin Gakuen dojo building was tall and vast. It had five floors. It rose high above Montrael City, perched on elevated ground so it dominated the skyline.

It resembled a palace crossed with a fortress—tall stone walls, tiered roofs that were very angular, and severe.

Red color dominated the exterior—banners, lanterns, and painted trim all carried Seishin Gakuen colors, which were red, and had a stylized peacock feather emblem.

The yard was spacious. It was easy to fit several hundred students training there at all times. Compared to Kiernan's dojo, the difference was drastic.

At that moment, Kiernan formed a fist with his right. A solid clench of a fist. In that moment, bright light started to emanate from his hand.

The light enveloped his hand. It turned warm, really, really warm. It was like his hand had turned into a miniature sun.

"Mastered Iron Style, High Supernova!"

Kiernan threw his fist down. The crashing power of his punch landed at the Seishin Gakuen dojo building, and it started caving in like a house of cards.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Crash! Crack! Thump!

Floor after floor, the entire structure was reduced to rubble within seconds. The cloud of dust covered the entire area, making it impossible to see anything.

The cars started beeping with alarms. The lights turned on in nearby buildings. The citizens all jolted awake and came to witness the shocking destruction of the mighty dojo building.

This dojo had been standing in this street for as long as all of them could remember, and it was now all gone.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Kiernan hovered in the air, kicking his foot down, like he was kicking the air to keep him afloat in the air.

The kick was creating a small gust of wind that kept him in the air without losing any altitude.

"…"

He looked down at the destroyed building, and then he kicked the air powerfully, sending him flying across Montrael City like a comet.

Carefully, he landed back at Action Street and came across the Martial Redemption dojo. The graffiti and the trash bags were all gone.

It was like nothing had happened.

"I won't let anybody fuck with my dojo."

He said, pushed open the iron gate, and entered.
