Was I able to taste the poison? It was hard to say. I wasn't that familiar with the fruit drink she had given me, so I didn't know if the bitter taste was a poison or just a fruit, I was unused to. However, I had long left Poison Immunity equipped with my rather hefty supply of dungeon points. The only time I turned it off was when I had some reason to get drunk. Normally, the poison wouldn't affect me, and I had many powerful anti-poison spells as a White Mage, which I also cast on the cup when she wasn't looking.
This would be her third assassination attempt. As for why I accepted the drink, what kind of man would I be if I refused something a girl earnestly made for me? That wasn't the reason. I just didn't want to tip her off I was suspicious of her. Knowing she was an assassin, I just needed to keep a close watch on her and she'd tip me off to any assassination attempts. If she failed, then wouldn't the next one be harder and potentially more dangerous, like the explosion at the church? At the least, she wasn't willing to cause collateral damage, and her attempts felt almost juvenile in comparison.
As the meal finished and I drank the rest of the drink, Rea had taken various glances my way, and her eyes which had originally seemed eager and excited slowly grew sullen as she saw that the poison wasn't having any effect. The meal came to an end rather quickly. It was an omelet on rice with some fruit on the side, which seemed appropriate to the eastern food culture they were going for to me. However, Jespain was in the west, so would that be the western food culture?
"Your rides are waiting outside. You've been broken into groups based on your itineraries. Please make sure to enter the appropriate vehicle or you may be taken to the wrong area." Marina explained.

We were led back into the main lobby. The atmosphere of everyone else watching and remaining distant remained from the day before. I looked over at my girls who were discussing their itineraries excitedly.
"Sapphire, Terra, stay with me."
"Ah!" Sapphire let out a cry. "But my itinerary says that I should be- ugg."
Terra was more used to being subservient and quickly saw that I had something in mind, so she nudged the other girl. However, where they used to be the same size, Terra's golem form was much larger and that little nudge was enough to nearly send the other girl to the floor.
She quickly stood up, glaring at Terra who could only shrug. This did cause a little bit of trouble as Terra couldn't fit in the standard carriage and they needed to get a different one. Rather than wait, I decided to store her in my soul world. Marina was a bit shocked when the golem suddenly disappeared, but it wasn't like she was in a place where she could ask questions, and I wasn't giving answers.
We entered the vehicle and started forward, soon splitting off from some of the other vehicles. Other than Sapphire, it was Mary who was surprisingly apart from her sister, as well as the esmere who were joining me. The other girls all chose different workshops today.
"You're interested in the automaton workshops?" I asked.
My schedule that day had been filled with workshops on complex machinery and automaton design. I hadn't discussed my choices with Terra or Sapphire. They might have already been in my group, but I knew Sapphire had other interests in their metalworking, smithing, and so-on which might have put her in another group. However, what would the church or esmere want with golems?
