Chapter 521: I'll Love You Forever

Gina already thought that she couldn't love Jason any more than she did! She thought that she had already found the maximum attainable level of love any human could have for another human being! But Gina realised at this moment that she had been wrong! Because Gina could feel her love for Jason grow to a level that she couldn't even describe anymore! Gina loved Jason more than she loved anything she had ever known!

Jason smiled when he saw Gina crying inconsolably, and he reached forward and ran a thumb over Gina's cheek. Gina finally looked at Jason when he touched her, and Jason asked calmly.

"Will you marry me, Gina?"

Gina immediately dashed forward, and Jason let out a small 'woah!' as she tackled him to the ground! Gina slammed her lips into Jason's own and kissed him with the desperation of a dying man who had just found water in the desert, and Jason put his hand behind her head and accepted the kiss easily! They were like that for a while before Gina finally pulled back and pressed her forehead into his own! Gina spoke with a large smile of unrestrained joy on her face.

"Of course I'll marry you. I don't care what the future brings, and I don't care that we won't have any peace. I would have married you if you had asked me in the middle of a war. I would have married you even if we were poor and didn't have a penny to our name. I would have married you even if we had to fight against the whole world to be together. You're my soul mate, Jason. My king. I'd marry you in every lifetime. Every single one."

Jason felt an intense surge of love pour out from his heart when he heard the sheer sincerity in Gina's words! Gina spoke like a woman preparing to go to war for him, and Jason knew at this moment that Gina meant every single word she spoke! No matter what happens in the future, Jason was certain that Gina would be by his side. Jason brought Gina's head down into another deep kiss, and Gina put her hands on his cheeks and deepened it! Gina was still crying, and she chuckled when her tears fell on Jason's face! Gina pulled back and used her hands to wipe her tears from Jason's face before she sat back on her knees and apologised while trying to clean her own tears.

"Sorry, I can't get a grip. I feel like some sort of kid."

Jason sat up and shook his head.

"It's fine. You can be a kid in front of me anytime."

Jason reached for her hand, and Gina swallowed for a moment before she slowly gave him her left hand. Jason then grabbed the ring from the velvet box, and he smiled as he slowly slid it onto Gina's ring finger. The moment the ring entered her hand, it slowly reduced in size until it fit her finger perfectly, and the silver runes that were drawn on it glowed with a brilliant light as they registered themselves to Gina's magical signature and activated. Gina suddenly felt a rush of energy fill her body for a moment before it calmed down, and Gina looked to Jason to ask him what that was! Jason just smiled and told Gina not to worry about that.

"Just promise me that you'll never take this off, no matter what. Keep it on you at all times, you understand?"

Gina nodded to Jason calmly, but she knew that Jason didn't even need to tell her that! Did Jason really think anything would be able to get this ring off Gina? If anyone wanted to get this ring off Gina, they'd have to take her entire hand with them! Gina looked down at the ring with a beautiful smile on her face! The red ruby clashed beautifully with the black material that the ring was made from, and Gina could see her reflection in the high-quality gem! The ruby was the same shade of red as Gina's eyes and hair, and Gina knew that Jason had done this on purpose to make sure the ring matched her perfectly! Gina loved it! Gina had never been the sort of person to fall in love with jewelry before, since she hardly wore any, but she couldn't deny that she absolutely adored Jason's ring! It was a perfect blend of her red and Jason's black, and Gina knew it couldn't be any more perfect! Gina swore that once they got out of this mess, she'd make a ring for Jason too!

Jason looked at the ring, and he silently thanked Azrael for helping him engrave the runes on the ring. These runes were the ones that Gina had been asking Jason about a few days ago. The runes on that ring were Third Rank and Second Rank defensive and healing runes that Jason had painstakingly worked on for more than three days straight. Jason was still only an Orange Class Runecrafter, so it was impossible for him to engrave those runes himself, but he had drawn them and put his magic into the activation key, and all Azrael did was to carve the runes into the metal and begin the rune sequence, so in truth, Jason had been the one to draw the runes on the ring. Jason knew that getting one of the [Blood Rings] that his father gave his mother was going to be impossible since they were so rare, but Jason hadn't been able to get that ring off his mind since he realised that it was the perfect way to protect the woman that he loved and that was why he put all the runes on this ring! Even though the ring wasn't as strong as a Blood Ring, Jason was sure that even if he wasn't there to help her, the ring would protect Gina from certain death!

Gina was still looking at the ring with a wide smile on her face, and another surge of excitement suddenly bubbled up from inside Gina's heart as Gina let out a squeal and jumped on Jason again! Jason laughed as they both fell to the ground in a tangle of limbs, and he was immediately captured in another kiss!

"Mmh, Gina, wait. The deer. I think it's burning."

Gina leaned into Jason's ear, and she licked it softly before she bit down on his earlobe and moaned in a sultry voice.

"Let it burn~"

Gina's hand immediately went into Jason's trousers, and Gina smiled as she heard Jason curse. Gina didn't care if their meal burnt to a crisp! She wasn't letting Jason go until she had all of his seed inside her!

That night, the sound of skin slapping against skin was only drowned out by the sound of the heavy rain pouring outside!

….

[The World of Varigan]

[One Hundred and Two Dimensional Leaps Away From Earth]

The next time Jason and Gina ran into the Machina was in a sparsely populated world known as Varigan. The world of Varigan was very similar to Earth. The people of this world had the same biological and physical resemblance to people from Earth, and their society had also grown in a way that was very similar to humanity, but there were also major differences that made Varigan and Earth two very different worlds. One of those differences was the existence of the Pharynx. The Pharynx was an alien lifeform that had managed to sneak its way into Varigan a century ago from another world. It was a creature that survived by consuming the energy found in the core of various worlds, and the moment it arrived on Varigan, it tunneled its way down into the core of the world in order to draw out energy to consume! This singular act by the Pharynx had made Varigan so unstable that molten magma and earthquakes had ravaged most of the world and destroyed it! And even as the humans were trying desperately to survive against the natural disasters, they were suddenly assaulted by a wave of monsters born from the parasitic Pharynx.
