The Extra Villain: I Made a Contract With The Dragon Empress!

Chapter 155: Lyserra Joins the Fight! (1)

"Your Majesty, it's me—the leader of the Seven Celestial Generals. We… have won."

Crystal froze in shock. She pressed her rapidly beating chest and asked, "Won, you say? How is that possible?"

Luna, standing beside her, blinked in confusion.

'Won? Did we really win the war?' she asked incredulously.

Joy burst inside her, but she didn't dare jump to conclusions. She waited quietly for Crystal's confirmation.

"That's right, Your Majesty," the leader's voice came again. "We have detained fifty thousand soldiers from the Holy Kingdom of Aldoria. Another fifty thousand were killed by our troops. Even so, we have also suffered many casualties."

"Twenty thousand of our soldiers died, and another ten thousand were wounded. But victory is still ours."

Crystal fell silent, unsure how to react. When she had just awakened, she thought her kingdom had already fallen.

She had even given up, ready to surrender if Gabriel appeared before her.

But the sudden news from one of the Celestial Generals felt too unreal—almost like a dream.

Crystal pinched her thigh, and the sharp pain confirmed it wasn't a dream.

Her heart pounded harder, but she forced herself to calm down.

After taking a deep breath, she asked, "Explain it to me. How did we win? And where is Gabriel Solayne?"

Although the Seven Celestial Generals were equal to the Second Spirit Core, it was impossible for them to defeat Gabriel, who stood at the First Spirit Core level.

Moreover, rumors said the man had formed a contract with the legendary Dragon of Light.

"It's a complicated story, Your Majesty," the leader replied in a heavy voice. "But one thing is certain: my six comrades and I were almost killed by Gabriel Solayne. Fortunately, a mysterious and extremely powerful man stopped him—he even managed to land a hit on him."

"The two of them are fighting right now, but I don't know where. It must be very far away, because I can't sense any power fluctuations within a fifty-kilometer radius."

Crystal fell silent at his explanation, sinking into thought.

'A powerful man? Who is he?'

She tried to guess, but nothing came to mind.

"Do you know any characteristics of this mysterious man?" she asked.

The leader paused before answering, "He is tall, has white hair, purple eyes, and wears a strange black robe—I've never seen anything like it. He carries a black magic wand with a purple crystal on top."

Crystal processed every detail, but it still didn't add up.

Only Merlin had those characteristics—white hair and purple eyes.

But that was impossible. Merlin was still just a child. There was no way he could fight Gabriel, right?

"Huh…" Crystal let out a long sigh. "All right, I understand. Thank you for the information. Now, bring the dead and wounded back to the capital. I'll instruct the guards to open the gates. After that…"

Crystal continued giving instructions to the leader, and after a while, their connection ended.

She turned to the side and saw Luna, her face filled with both anxiety and fierce curiosity.

Crystal smiled and gently patted her head.

"We won," she said.

Luna's tense body eased, and a beautiful smile bloomed on her face as she patted her chest in relief.

"How did we win?" Luna asked.

It seemed impossible for them to have won, considering how strong and terrifying Gabriel was.

Crystal took a sip of water before answering, "They say a mysterious man appeared on the battlefield. He attacked Gabriel and pulled him far away to fight. The Seven Heavenly Generals and Runard used that moment to crush the enemy army, whose morale and spirit had completely collapsed."

"A mysterious man?" Luna was surprised. "Do you know who he is, Ancestor?"

"I don't know." Crystal shook her head. A beautiful smile broke on her face as she added, "But his appearance is a blessing for our kingdom…"

...

"Die!"

Whoosh!

A ten-meter-wide ball of light formed between the jaws of the Dragon of Light.

It launched the attack at the mysterious white-haired man.

Facing it, the man simply raised his right hand.

A crack in space instantly opened, pulling the attack inside as if swallowing it whole.

"What?" The Dragon of Light roared in disbelief. "My attack was nullified?"

That ball of light was a devastating strike. If it had fallen on the city of Dralmor, every living creature and building inside would have been reduced to ashes.

And yet, just now, it disappeared so easily.

Truly… terrifying.

"Don't let your guard down, Calystron! Attack him again!" Gabriel's voice echoed from a distance.

His body shot forward as fast as light, appearing behind the man.

"Die!" Gabriel raised the Vanguard of Light Holy Sword and swung it at him.

Slash!

The man's body split in half, but in the next instant, it returned to normal.

He smiled faintly, clenched his left fist, and punched toward Gabriel's stomach.

Sensing the terrifying force behind the blow, Gabriel instinctively used his sword as a shield.

Boom!

The man's fist struck the Vanguard of Light Holy Sword, sending Gabriel flying thousands of meters away.

Without stopping, the man lifted his right hand and clenched it.

A massive black gate suddenly appeared above. A demonic hand emerged, seizing Gabriel's still-flying body.

"Argh!" Gabriel groaned in pain.

"Gabriel!" Calystron shouted in panic.

As Calystron prepared to help him, a playful voice echoed from above.

"Don't let your guard down, buddy. I'm right here."

Calystron's body tensed. It tried to escape, but the space around it froze.

The man twisted his magic wand and tapped its purple crystal tip against Calystron's head.

Bang!

Calystron felt as if a giant meteor had crashed onto its skull.

A wave of dizziness overwhelmed it, and its body hit the ground with a heavy thud.

Boom!

A golden light burst from Gabriel's body. The demonic hand restraining him crumbled away, freeing him at last.

In the blink of an eye, Gabriel appeared above Calystron's head.

"Are you okay?" he asked anxiously.

"Ugh…" Calystron groaned. "I'm… fine."

Even so, the dizziness still lingered. It didn't know what the mysterious man had done, but the earlier attack was terrifying. Its head felt like it was about to split open, and its mind had frozen for a moment.

Gabriel let out a quiet sigh of relief. He fixed his gaze on the white-haired man and said, "If we keep going like this, we'll lose. Let's attack together."

Calystron slowly stood up. Its massive body made the dense trees around it look like mere grass.

"All right. Let's attack together," Calystron replied.

However, before they could move, the white-haired man smiled lightly.

"It wouldn't be fair if it's two against one. How about I call for help too?"
