While the others were resting Adam sat in a crossed legged position and was expanding his mana core to breakthrough.

Golden like mana was pulled towards his body which then settled upon his core turning the mana into a deep violet.

The energy began to fluctuate and spread to its surroundings, this surge of mana would not go unnoticed by his teammates who were resting in the cave.

"What's this surge of power?" Duke asked.

"Didn't Adam go outside to take watch?" Drake replied.

"And this amount of mana don't tell—!" But Grace couldn't finish her words when a loud sound echoed.

BOOM!

A wave of energy came rushing towards the cave, it was pure and refined no what you'd expect from a human.

All of them unconsciously absorbed some of the mana as well which would later serve a purpose in their advancements.

(Back To Adam)

Adam's body was now suspended mid-air his whole body began to glow with otherworldly energy.

His body would morph between his dragonic side and his human form, scales would come and also disappear.

His wings would flare out then disappear was more in a wisp of violet mana.

BOOM!

Another shockwave occured as a large amount of mana came out his body, when he opened his eyes a bright violet light came out of it.

This light would light up the whole area and the cave as well, forcing his teammates inside to close their eyes.

When the whole process ended Adam's body began to descend back to the ground, and steam was coming out his mouth.

He opened his eyes and their pupils remained slit just like a reptiles he didn't notice this himself but this would now become a permanent effect.

Whenever he brokethrough to a new rank his body would naturally adopt even more dragonic features, but that wasn't the only thing.

His ears became a bit pointy similar to elves but smaller and a small pair of horns began to grow on his head, but they couldn't be seen due to how small they were.

Other than the outer appearance, something more profound happened inside Adam's body.

Before Adam could say anything he felt something stir from inside his body, something was changing from within him.

It felt like his body was evolving and he felt a connection with even more elemental affinities.

This process lasted only a few seconds and he was more used to the pain after this happened countless number of times.

Description: It's a class that is born from the soul of an ancient dragon monarch, a subordinate of the dragon god. He once ruled the skies and burned down the evil outer gods, rebellious gods and the corrupted monsters who were once created to protect the the world. The dragon sovereign doesn't just wield draconic power, but can use it's authority and the right to command mana itself.

Abilities:

• Bends the air itself, those weaker in mana instinctively feel fear and pressure. When active it can suppress the mana flow of enemies or empower your allies. Stronger enemies will feel resistance, while weaker beings will be crushed by the aura.

• Fuses with the hosts affinities.

• Spatial Ice Creation: Can freeze anything, even intangible enemies, mana flowed in a confined space.

• Frost Dimension: Creates a zone where time and movement will be slowed as the air grows with ice and frost.

• Void Fracture: It can condense mana into hyper dense shards that are able to phase through defenses and also rapture barriers.

When Adam saw that more detail versions of his class he was filled with awe.

"T-this is way too busted." Adam said to himself.

He already knew that he had the sovereign's Aura but the class didn't show any of the other abilities until now that he reached B rank.

Adam couldn't help but be surprised with these new powers he might be able to lead his team safely out of this corrupted gate.

While Adam was busy checking out his system the rest of class S approached him as they felt his breakthrough happen from inside the cave.

"Adam did you breakthrough?" The one who asked this was Selena who approached him from behind.

Adam quickly looked back and saw all his classmates looking at him with a mix of curiosity, excitement and slight envy.

"Yeah... I felt like I could break past the barrier for a while now, this incident just pushed me to do it faster." Adam said while scratching his head.

Class S looked at him like he was an anomaly, for him to casually breakthrough ranks like was nothing but extraordinary.

Grace looked at him with envy but this would fuel her drive to get stronger even more as the fire in her was burning even more brighter.

The others also thought the same thing that they wouldn't want to be left behind by Adam.

After the whole breakthrough issue has passed they all rested and after a few hours they decided to move on towards Class A's location.

The whole corrupted forest has now grown silent.

There were no more roars of corrupted creatures. There weren't any tremors of the corrupted mana wave spreading.

The whole air was now heavy and thick with corrupted mana that it was almost suffocating. Even the light felt like it was corrupted by the fog.

[Sovereign's Aura]

Adam's aura would flare and also envelope his team this made the air to be more easier to breath in and the suffocating pressure eased.

Adam and his group were pressing on, even the ground beneath them was littered with the bones of the fallen corrupted creatures. Their breaths although slow it was steady, it wasn't from fatigue but vigilance.

Something didn't quite feel right.

"Everyone stay sharp," said Adam, his voice was calm as it cut through the silence. "That corruption has already spread this fast. I don't think we're alone anymore."

Grace was closing her eyes, and let her wind mana spread out. "Yeah, you're right. I feel some movement just about two hundred meters ahead. And there's a lot of it."

Selena just gripped her sword even tighter. "Is it the corrupted monsters?"

Grace's eyes opened once again. "No. These steps feel human."

Adam stepped forward a little ahead of them. "If it's humans, then this must be class A."
