Tian Xiwei threatened, "He really is my man!"
"Is he now?" the voice behind her asked.
"Of course! Let me go, now!"
"Then you can't be angry anymore." Sun Dasheng's voice returned to normal. Hearing this, Tian Xiwei, who still had her back to him, trembled violently and began to cry again.
Sun Dasheng fumbled to turn her around and pull her into his arms. "Didn't we agree you wouldn't get angry anymore? Why are you crying again?"
"Liar! Jerk! I'll kill you!" Tian Xiwei flailed with her hands and feet, kicking and punching him furiously to vent her frustration.
Sun Dasheng simply held her, letting her hit and curse him as she pleased. She even used her teeth, leaving a deep bite mark on his shoulder.
However, his physical constitution was absurdly robust. In just a day or two, the bite mark would fade and eventually disappear completely. Right now, though, it looked rather horrific.
Sometimes, you just have to play weak.
"Ouch!" he yelped.
With tears clouding her eyes, Tian Xiwei looked at him.
"Look what you did! Are you a dog or something? That hurts like hell," Sun Dasheng whined, playing the victim.
The young woman fell for it completely. Her mood improved considerably, but on the surface, she still snapped, "Serves you right. It's your fault for two-timing."
"How can you blame me for that?" Sun Dasheng feigned innocence. "My relationship with Teacher Ding was strictly confidential; even her parents didn't know. She didn't tell you, so I didn't dare tell you either. And now you're putting all the blame on me."
"And I shouldn't?" Tian Xiwei bit him again, though much more gently this time, merely making a show of being fierce.
"Alright, it's my fault, but it can't be *all* my fault, can it? Think about it. Wasn't I rejecting you from the very beginning?"
Sun Dasheng's words made her recall the past. It was true; she really had been the one pursuing him. She remembered how he had always pretended not to understand her hints, playing dumb. It had made her so angry, making her think she had lost her charm.
Now the truth was clear: he already had a girlfriend, and it was her good friend, Ding Muchen.
What should I do now? So I'm the one who came later?
She stopped crying, trying to figure out how to resolve this situation.
"Brother Sun, I should back out. I can't ruin your relationship."
Before she could say more, his lips sealed hers.
What nonsense. How could he possibly let go of the prize that was already in his mouth?
Sun Dasheng obviously wasn't going to agree. He kissed her domineeringly, leaving her breathless. Then he pulled her into him, their two bodies becoming one.
After he had thoroughly comforted her with his actions, Tian Xiwei no longer spoke of leaving or backing out. She just lay quietly in his arms for a long time before finally asking a question. "What if Chenchen finds out?"
Sun Dasheng stroked her hair. "It'll be fine. As long as neither of us says anything, how will she ever know?"
That seemed to make sense, so Tian Xiwei nodded.
"Then who do you like more? Me or Sister Chenchen?"
Here it comes. The question that always gives me a headache.
This was like the classic loaded question: "If your mother and I both fell into the water, who would you save first?" It was a trap.
But to soothe the little sprite in front of him, he could only apologize to Ding Muchen in his heart before saying resolutely, "Of course I like you more. Why else would I have betrayed her for you?"
"Oh!"
Tian Xiwei's eyes brightened. His words sounded very convincing. She leaned in and kissed his cheek. "You pass. That's your reward."
After they snuggled for a while, Tian Xiwei took the initiative to urge him, "You should go back to Chenchen's side. If she wakes up and doesn't see you, she'll get suspicious."
「The night passed.」
The atmosphere between the three of them was slightly different now.
Isn't Xiwei being a little *too* nice to me? Ding Muchen thought. We've always been good friends, but not *this* good, right?
Today was the day of their return journey. Tian Xiwei took Ding Muchen around, buying her all sorts of local specialties and taking her shopping for luxury cosmetics in the duty-free area. If not for Ding Muchen's constant refusals, she would have needed several suitcases to carry it all.
Although she was confused, Ding Muchen still accepted her good friend's kindness.
I'll just have to return the favor when I get the chance.
After getting their plane tickets, the three of them headed back to Shanghai City.
「Shanghai City Airport Parking Lot」
The trio walked briskly, an annoying tail following close behind them. This tail was a man in his thirties who claimed to be a high-level executive at some financial company, earning millions a year. Whether it was true or not, that's what he boasted.
Upon seeing the two beautiful women, Ding Muchen and Tian Xiwei, in the first-class cabin, he had acted like a mandrill in heat, constantly trying to ingratiate himself with them. Sun Dasheng had complained, and an air marshal had given the man a verbal warning, which finally made him behave. But as soon as they got off the plane, he reverted to his old ways, following them all the way to the parking lot.
"Will you ever give up?" Ding Muchen was completely fed up with this pest.
The man, however, was certainly thick-skinned. He remained shameless, still wearing a placating smile. Having failed to get her WeChat, he tried another angle. "Where are you ladies heading? I have a car, a big Mercedes, you know? Let me give you a ride."
He finally played his ace in the hole for picking up women. It was a method that had always been invincible, but today, it failed spectacularly.
Both women just scoffed and didn't even spare him a glance.
At that moment, a Rolls-Royce Phantom pulled up. The two-meter-tall Da Yong stepped out and respectfully welcomed the three of them into the car.
Sun Dasheng, who had been mostly silent the whole time, shot the man a cold glance before getting in. His look sent a chill down the man's spine, making the hair on his body stand on end. The hand in which he held his Mercedes keys began to tremble.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom drove off, leaving him standing there like a clown.
"Damn," he muttered, "If you're that powerful, why didn't you say so from the start?"
