The Dog Market was bustling with all sorts of people: old, young, men, women, black-skinned, white-skinned, and of course, yellow-skinned. There were dogs of every type as well: Pitbulls, Muyang, Tibetan Mastiffs... from mutts to world-renowned breeds, they had it all.
Wang Xiaoqiang and Mikoer strolled through the Dog Market, constantly greeted by sellers.
"Dear, what kind of dog do you want to buy?" Mikoer asked Wang Xiaoqiang.
"Which type of dog is the most ferocious and aggressive?" Wang Xiaoqiang asked in return.
"That would be the Pitbull," Mikoer said, pointing to a Pitbull in a large iron cage.
"Then let's buy the Pitbull..." Wang Xiaoqiang decisively said, walking to the cage containing the Pitbull. The Pitbull immediately glared menacingly at Wang Xiaoqiang and started barking loudly. The seller, also the dog's owner, whipped the dog, and it calmed down.
"Boss, how much are you selling this dog for?" After some time learning, Wang Xiaoqiang's spoken language was quite good.
The boss was a tall man close to two meters in height. Standing next to him, Wang Xiaoqiang only came up to his shoulder. Thus, when the boss looked down at Wang Xiaoqiang, his gaze was also condescending, and he said unkindly, "Young man, what do you want this dog for?"
The boss probably thought Wang Xiaoqiang wasn't really going to buy, just inquiring about the price. Hence, he didn't feel like engaging with Wang Xiaoqiang. Wang Xiaoqiang could sense the disdain in his eyes and coldly responded, "To bite people!"
The boss, as if he hadn't heard Wang Xiaoqiang clearly, asked again, "What do you want it for??"
"To bite people!" Mikoer said in perfect language to the boss, "Did you hear that clearly now..."
"Hehe... that's interesting..." Now understanding, the boss looked at Wang Xiaoqiang with a new expression. "Then you've chosen the right one. This dog, it loves to bite people, so you see, even I can't control it. I have to keep it caged every day..."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaoqiang's interest piqued; this was the exact type of dog he wanted. A dog that doesn't bite was of no interest to him, even if it were offered for free. Although he wanted to buy it, he kept cool and said, "I hope you're not lying. Name your price?"
"We can discuss the price, but let me be blunt, this dog is extremely fierce and wild. If you buy it and it bites someone, or hurts itself, I am in no way responsible..." the boss said earnestly and seriously.
"Don't worry, just name your price..." Mikoer, having seen Wang Xiaoqiang's real Kung Fu, thought the boss was being too wordy at this point.
"Five thousand US dollars..." the boss stretched out five fingers, waving them in front of the two.
Wang Xiaoqiang didn't bargain, thinking it didn't matter, but Mikoer disagreed, immediately saying, "Boss, this old dog for five thousand? You must be crazy about money..."
"Four thousand... four thousand is the lowest I'll go; I won't sell for any less."
In reality, a good Pitbull was not that cheap, but this particular dog was just too old and not only fierce but also unruly and disobedient, sometimes even harming its owner. Hence, the boss was eager to sell it. However, contrary to his wishes, the more he wanted to sell, the fewer buyers he found because everyone knew better. An old dog like this, especially one as aggressive as it was, had almost no value and nobody dared to keep it.
"Three thousand, three thousand and we'll take it..." Mikoer offered.
Clencing his teeth and visibly pained, the boss said, "Deal!" And so, they struck a deal.
"Do you need it delivered?" the boss asked, implying that considering the dog's ferocity, he doubted whether the two young people would manage to get it home without being bitten, so he asked if they wanted it delivered.
"No need," Wang Xiaoqiang replied, already quietly channeling Spiritual Energy into the dog's body, controlling it with his willpower to flow directly into the heart and liver. Whether human or animal, the will resides in the heart, and the nature in the liver. The heart and liver influence emotions. Once the Spiritual Energy was infused into the Pitbull's heart and liver, the dog's explosive emotions subsided. More importantly, the look it gave Wang Xiaoqiang no longer held fierceness but admiration...
"Whatever you like, but let me remind you again, if it bites someone, it has nothing to do with me..." the owner said coldly.
Wang Xiaoqiang coldly stared at him, "Release the dog..."
"Ah, this..." the owner said somewhat panic-stricken. He thought they would lift the dog and the cage into the vehicle and drive it away, but instead, he directly asked to release the dog. This was a ferociously wild dog; even he dared not release it, let alone the new owner. Thus, he felt uneasy.
"Hurry up, I've given you the money..." Wang Xiaoqiang said.
The owner cautiously released the Pitbull, and it surprised and amazed him immensely when it came out.
It was unexpectedly very well-behaved, very quiet, and very gentle; after coming out of the cage, it walked up to its new master, Wang Xiaoqiang, wagging its tail and showing a docile demeanor.
"Huh? This, this Dali..." the owner always called this dog Dali, "how, how has it become so well-behaved..."
Awed, the owner tried to pet the Pitbull, but unexpectedly, the Pitbull snapped at him fiercely, scaring the owner so much that he immediately withdrew his hand.
The Pitbull seemed not to recognize the owner anymore, showing him a stranger's eyes and growling softly again.
"Enough!" Wang Xiaoqiang said sternly, then reached out to pat the Pitbull's head, "Little Bi, from now on you're not called Dali, you're called Little Bi... Little Bi, come with us..."
Little Bi wagged its head, visibly pleased, and then followed Wang Xiaoqiang and Mikoer.
The owner stared at Wang Xiaoqiang in amazement, thinking to himself, "This man is really incredible!"
Wang Xiaoqiang didn't leave the Dog Market, but went to a cage containing an old German Shepherd. Its owner was also eager to sell because the dog seemed confused and wasn't listening to commands anymore. Seeing Wang Xiaoqiang's interest in buying, he offered a reasonable price, his only worry being that Wang Xiaoqiang might come back to him if the dog bit someone, so he repeatedly stated, "Young man, this dog is very fierce. You and your family must be careful, and if it hurts anyone, I'm not responsible..."
"Don't worry. Even if something big happens, you won't be blamed," Wang Xiaoqiang said after paying, and then used the same method, channeling Spiritual Energy into the German Shepherd's body, and then let the owner release the dog.
Before releasing the dog, the owner said, "I'll give you a leash, it might be safer to hold onto it..."
"No need," Wang Xiaoqiang said.
The owner shook his head and then released the German Shepherd, and then, watching as Wang Xiaoqiang renamed his dog, he led the disobedient old dog away, almost dropping his jaw.
Wang Xiaoqiang named the German Shepherd Little Mu.
Little Bi and Little Mu, very docilely followed Wang Xiaoqiang to his vehicle and were brought back to Dolly Ranch.
They were once famous world-class dogs, but now they had become Wang Shangqiang's Spirit Dogs. They developed a telepathic connection with Wang Xiaoqiang, able to understand his intentions. Of course, Wang Xiaoqiang's Spiritual Energy made them younger, more agile, and mentally alert.(To be continued.
