Zombie Girls Revival System

Chapter 41: System Scan: Evaluating the Bunny Bride’s ASSets — Part 2.

The numbers spun wildly across his vision, flickering too fast to track. Sid's eyes darted after them anyway, his chest tight, a bead of sweat rolling down his cheek. Then poof! The score locked into place.

[10/10]

Perfect score!

"Of course a 10! "

The glow slid further, drifting slowly over her entire figure. A bunny zombie… It paused at times, almost like the system itself was taking a moment to appreciate her before continuing. It moved to her arms, her hands, then the way she stood.

[Uniqueness]

Calculating…

[10/10]

Perfect score!

"…Okay… perfect. She's unique to me, alright? There are no bunny humans on Earth—that's my reason. The ONLYreason. Don't go asking me to explain that sex appeal score, because I'm not answering."

Next, the scan focused on the faint tension in her muscles, the way she held her weight. His gamer instincts recognized the stance instantly.

[On these parts, the scores are given based on how useful she can be in this apocalypse, judged by what she was capable of before and what she can do now.]

"Oh, so this one's about usefulness, huh? How she can fight, survive, or… whatever she did before turning. Even zombie waifus get performance reviews."

[Combat Potential]

Calculating…

"Combat potential? Does this mean—Oh no… she can fight?"

[4/10]

Decent score!

"Well, a four. So basically… she can't fight."

The scanner now focuses on her brain, checking it throughly and into her heart.

[Community Value]

Calculating…

"Community value? What… what does that even mean?"

[10/10]

Perfect score!

"A perfect score? What the hell can this zombie bunny bride even do? She's low in combat, but her community value is ten… what does that even mean?"

Sid's breath caught. He could not understand why a system in a game about killing zombies would measure something like that. Let alone give her a perfect score. It made the whole moment feel heavier, like there was something he was not supposed to know yet.

The data froze. A tall, vertical bar filled itself from bottom to top with a deep blue glow, locking in the results.

[44/50]

Calculating…

Then, five empty star outlines appeared in the air. One by one, they filled with gold, each chime echoing in the quiet cathedral until all five shone bright.

[FINAL BEAUTY RATING: ★★★★★]

SSR Tier – Eligible for Revival.

"Five stars…? A SSR? She's—she's perfect by the system's standards. Ahem, I mean yeah… My standards hehe. But Why does she have a… rating? Why does it even matter? Why… would the game do this? These numbers are making my head spin, especially that five-star banner flashing in my head like a gacha roll result…"

As the final rating appeared, the zombie bunny bride's outline began to glow, her skin sparkling gold.

"Oh. My. God! Does my loot-sense work on zombie girls too? No way… this is insane!"

Sid's jaw practically hit the marble floor. He couldn't tear his eyes away from the glowing stars, the rating banner flashing in his HUD like he had just pulled a five-star character in one of those soul crushing gacha games. His lips curled into a crooked smile, his excitement boiling over.

"Unbelievable… this system is literally treating her like a pull. A five-star SSR. It's acting like I just hit the jackpot. Damn it—this feels exactly like a gacha roll! I should be pissed, but honestly… I'm kind of hyped. The system just threw me an SSR-tier zombie waifu, glowing like loot, and my brain can't even handle it."

He chuckled, running a hand through his sweat-soaked hair, his eyes darting from the bride's shimmering outline to the glowing HUD. His voice dropped, low but still full of that cocky edge. "Still… can't lie. She really is a ten. And if the system says she's elegible for revival, then… I guess it's my job to do it."

The system's voice chimed, and text scrolled across his vision:

[Beauty Scan Complete. The zombie girl is eligible for revival. You can now revive her by touching her chest.]

Sid blinked at the prompt, then let out a long, long breath. His expression shifted, seriousness creeping in under his usual bravado.

"Touch her chest, huh? Argh, that sounds so damn shady. Always gotta throw in some awkward fanservice angle, don't you? But if that's the only way… then what choice do I have? Let's see if this Meta Breaker title actually lives up to its name. Time to touch a zombie chest…"

He stepped closer. The bride's glowing body radiated a faint warmth now, her outline shimmering with threads of gold. Sid extended his hand slowly, almost cautiously, his palm trembling before he forced it steady. He pressed his hand flat against her chest, right above her heart.

The moment his skin met her cold flesh, his HUD exploded with light.

[META BREAKER EFFECT ACTIVATED]

Overriding Meta Rule…

[THE DEAD CANNOT RETURN.]

Reality itself seemed to ripple around them. Cracks spiderwebbed through the air, glowing like fractured glass. The cathedral groaned, light bleeding from the seams in space as though the world itself rejected what he was doing. The bride's body shimmered, her skin glowing brighter, each thread of light peeling away rot, mending flesh, restoring lost warmth.

"Holy sh*t… it's like I'm tearing through the code. No… through the laws of this world. I'm actually rewriting the rules just by touching her. This is, this is unreal! OH MY GOD!"

The cracks in reality pulsed, golden light spilling out like veins of molten lava in shattered stone. The bride's body trembled under his palm, and her chest began to rise faintly, her first breath rattling through her throat like the beginning of a song.

"Uh.. ahh.. Eee…"

Sid clenched his jaw, his voice strong but laced with something deeper… hope, fear, determination all at once. The zombie bunny bride looking like the meta break effect was kinda shaky to her, it's like her body is resisting.

"Come back… come back, damn it. don't you dare glitch out now. If this actually works, then I I'll have done the one thing no player or survivor could ever dream of. I'll have broken the system itself. I'll have revived the dead."
