Zombie Girls Revival System

Chapter 44: Checking Her Body to Prove She’s Alive (R-18).

He kneaded her breast slowly, relishing every inch of its perfect shape and texture. The bunny bride's breathing grew heavier, her chest rising and falling with each gentle squeeze.

"Sheesh, so good…"

Sid felt a surge of arousal as he continued to caress her, desperate for proof that she was alive. Lost in the sensation of having this fantastical creature in his grasp. Until her body shuddered, and suddenly the bunny bride moaned softly.

"She… she's conscious? I thought she was just like a doll… no reaction, nothing at all."

Sid's heart pounded wildly as he felt the bunny bride's body shudder beneath his touch. Her soft moan sent a jolt of electricity through him, confirming that she was indeed alive and responsive. Overwhelmed with curiosity and desire, he decided to explore further.

"Well, the system says: 'The rest is for you to discover and experience.' So here we go…"

He slipped his hand out from under her dress, only to trail his fingers along her collarbone and down the center of her chest. The bunny bride's breathing hitched as he reached the valley between her breasts, her skin prickling with goosebumps.

Sid leaned in closer, his lips brushing against the shell of her ear as he whispered,

"Can you hear me? Do you understand what's happening? If yes, react more."

To test her responsiveness, he gently pinched one of her nipples through the lace fabric. The bunny bride gasped sharply, arching her back slightly. Her eyes fluttered closed for a moment before snapping open again, locking onto Sid's with a piercing intensity.

The air between them thickened, heavy with tension. Sid froze, caught off guard by how human that reaction felt. His throat tightened, a mix of guilt and awe rising in him. He breathed, unable to look away from her trembling lips.

"…Holy shit. You're… really alive, aren't you?"

He turned away immediately, dragging in a shaky breath, muttering under his breath like he was coaching himself.

"Alright, Sid, pull it together. You just dragged someone out of death, broke the universe in half doing it. You just pulled a miracle out of nowhere. You don't half ass an introduction after that. You need something fitting… You gotta— make it sound like it means something. Like you're… what? A god? A glitch in the system? The one man who says no to the rules."

His breath came out in slow, uneven gusts as he stared at the girl in front of him. The tremor in his hands eased; he had his proof now. She wasn't a model, a texture, or some clever physics trick. To him, she had been an NPC responding like a human. The devs had made this far too real.

He had broken the system and dragged something living out of death. For the first time since stepping into this nightmare world, he felt both triumphant and terrified. He swallowed hard and straightened, his eyes softening as they met hers.

"Alright… I'm done testing. I get it. You're responding like a human on Earth. You're here. And you're mine to protect."

His arms spread wide, fingers curling as if he were casting a summoning circle straight out of an anime.

"From this moment on— no, wait, let me make this cooler…"

He drew in a breath, voice rising.

"I, your godly master standing before you, COMMAND you! Act as you once did, before you became a zombie. You don't have to be a doll. Breathe. Move. Remember who you were!"

The line echoed through the cathedral, reverberating off the cracked stone walls until it sounded almost divine. The words rolled outward, fading slowly, like real magic cast from an anime spilling into reality. For a moment, nothing happened. Then, the bunny bride's body moved violently, her chest rising with a ragged, desperate inhale.

She clutched at her own dress, nails digging into the fabric as she began to cough, each breath tearing out of her as if she were clawing her way out of deep water.

Her shoulders shook, her whole body trembling, and the glowing heart symbol on her chest began to pulse harder, faster. Each heavy beat thudded in Sid's ears, syncing with the wild rhythm of his own.

Sid stepped forward instinctively, hands hovering near her but not quite touching.

"Easy… Easy. You're okay. You're safe now."

His eyes darted over her face, trying to read her expressions. She gasped again, her body rocking as if some invisible chain had been cut loose. Tears welled in her ruby eyes, spilling down her greenish cheeks, streaking like rivers through dust. For the first time, Sid saw not a zombie, not a system generated husk, but a person being dragged back into a body after years of silence.

"This animation looks so damn AMAZING… seriously, who the hell's cooking this?"

Then, slowly, she lifted her head. Her trembling eased enough for her to focus on him. Her gaze locked on his face with a clarity that hadn't been there before. Sid took a breath and squared his shoulders.

"Now, say what you wanted to say to me. I'm the one who saved you. I'm the one who brought you back."

The bunny girl's lips trembled, the words caught between breaths. Her mouth worked soundlessly at first, like she was relearning the act of speaking. Then, faint and broken, her voice finally slipped out.

"W… who are you?"

Sid's eyes widened for a split second, surprise flickering across his face. But then, almost like he had been waiting for this exact moment, a grin tugged at his lips. He raised a hand with a sweeping, dramatic flair, his voice booming in the echoing cathedral.

"Who am I? Hah! I'm the guy who dragged you back from the void. The one who told the laws of life and death to sit the hell down. I AM WHAT THE GODS THEMSELVES CALLED THE META BREAKER—a title that defies the rules of this world! And the only one… the one who revived you—"

SMACK!

Her hand lashed out, a sharp slap across his cheek that stung more than any HUD damage warning. Sid's head moved sideways, his smirk faltering for the first time since the fight.

Her ruby eyes burned with anger now, her voice rising, thick with fury.

"Why?!"

Her chest heaved as she glared at him, trembling from head to toe.

"Why did you bring me back to life?!"
