Martial Arts Master in the City

Chapter 1357: Who Wants Your Life

Chu Chao, accompanied by his subordinates, stepped out of the Rainbow Bar and promptly boarded a black business vehicle. It was a rather ordinary business car, and it was a Tiake model, evidently not a luxury item by any means.

As disciples of the Soul Sect, they were often under scrutiny in Han City, so they preferred to keep a low profile since they hated being recognized. This was largely due to the fact that their activities were far from honorable.

The business car quickly departed from the Rainbow Bar. At that moment, the street was covered with snow, with almost no pedestrians or vehicles, making the black business car particularly eye-catching on the road.

"Who dares to cause trouble near our base? Do they have a death wish?" said one of the men dressed in black in a dismissive tone.

Another man echoed with disdain, "I doubt they know it's a Soul Sect base. Even if they had the courage of a lion, they wouldn't risk their lives for this."

Meanwhile, Chu Chao sat in the central position, eyes closed, conserving his strength. Although he didn't speak, he, much like the others, didn't take these enemies seriously. In his opinion, as long as he made a move, the problem would be quickly resolved.

However, as the business car was moving forward, it suddenly braked sharply, jolting Chu Chao and the martial artists forward, almost causing them to bump into each other.

"Damn, are you trying to murder us? Since when did you become such a lousy driver?" one of the martial artists seated in the back remarked to the driver.

The driver, not taking it kindly, snapped back, "Damn, how's this my fault? What are your eyes for?"

Upon hearing the driver's words, the previously speaking martial artist looked over, noticing a shabby Jetta had suddenly swerved in front of them, nearly colliding with the black business car.

"Damn, go down there and see what's going on!" The martial artist said as he prepared to get out of the vehicle to confront the Jetta driver. But at that moment, Chu Chao spoke up, "Is it necessary? Let it go. Remember your identity."

The martial artists generally held themselves in high regard, and evidently, Chu Chao didn't want to waste time over something trivial, as dealing with a regular person was beneath him, especially considering that he looked down upon the shabby Jetta.

Despite Chu Chao's desire to avoid conflict, fate had other plans. A young man stepped out of the Jetta, inspected both vehicles, realized they hadn't collided, but still refused to let the matter rest.

"Damn, what kind of driving is that? If you can't drive, go home, or is your license something you bought?"

The business car's driver was initially ready to let things go after Chu Chao's words, but the young Jetta driver persisted in provoking him.

"Get lost quickly, or you'll regret stepping out tonight," the driver shouted as he stuck his head out to confront the brazen young man.

The driver's intention was to silence the young man and make him leave, but his words only spurred the youth into action. He took a step forward and kicked the business car's front, directly shattering a headlight with a crash.

"Ah?" The people in the business car were stunned by this development. They hadn't intended to get involved with this individual, believing their moderate response had been charitable, yet the youth seemed unfazed and grew increasingly audacious.

"Brother Chao, we need to teach him a lesson," a subordinate suggested.

Originally, Chu Chao didn't want to cause a scene, but the young man's excessive behavior made him change his mind. He said, "Handle it quickly!"

Chu Chao's words were clearly an order, allowing his men to act, but they had to do it swiftly.

With Chu Chao's command, his men immediately got out of the car one by one.

Seeing Chu Chao's men exiting the vehicle, the young man scanned them and said, "You puny ones don't have the right to talk to me. Get your boss down here; I've got business with him."

"Boss?" Chu Chao's subordinates, hearing the young man's words, immediately thought he might be a little gang leader, hence his brazen attitude.

"Who do you think you are, daring to challenge our boss? If you leave now, we can let this slide. Otherwise, if you end up with broken limbs, don't blame us."

The young man laughed lyingly and said, "Anyone can talk big. Let me tell you now, having encountered me, none of you will see tomorrow's sunrise. Do you believe it?"

Upon hearing the young man, the group found him more ridiculous. They've seen arrogance before, but never such outrageous arrogance as this young man showed.

"It seems you really have a death wish!" said one of the quicker-tempered members, swinging a punch at the young man.

To him, it was just a casual punch, but to ordinary people, it was a punch of significance.

Thud!

A dull sound echoed.

At this moment, everyone, including Chu Chao, thought this punch had resolved all issues.

However, in the next second, everyone except the young man was stunned.

Especially the person who threw the punch.

At this moment, his fist was frozen in mid-air, held by a hand that tightly gripped it like a vise clamping an iron block.

No one could believe what was happening before them, nor could they fathom how the young man could catch a martial artist's punch.

"You..." The puncher looked at the young man with incredulity.

But the young man merely smirked wickedly, moving his mouth to say, "Soul Sect disciples, not as impressive as imagined, are they?"

The attacker, hearing the young man's words, realized this was no ordinary youth, and asked with shock, "Who are you!"

"My identity isn't important. What's crucial is knowing who desires your end!"

"Ah?" The man was immediately thrown into disbelief!
