All five leaders gathered their armies on the world of Fenral. Each brought armies of hundreds of thousands with hundreds of projection realm beasts.

They were going all out for this. Fenral stood up and slashed the air. Space rippled but it didn't rip apart like he had expected.

" Strange." He whispered with confusion. " Something wrong Fenral?" The giant bear, Garod asked.

" I can't open the gate " Fenral replied sounding confused. " Let me try." Garod slashed the space with his claws as well.

Just like with Fenral, it rippled but didn't open. He frowned, " I can't either." Karuna stood forward.

Perhaps we should do it together. All five attacked the space, it rippled and seemed to give in but healed right after.

" It's blocked." Karuna said with a grim voice. " Do you think they know?" Soran asked grimly, her voice was shaking from anxiety.

The three old ones kept quiet but they too thought the same. Fenral knew they couldn't open the gate here.

" Karuna, you stay here, the rest of us will gather the rest of our armies. I'll inform you when it's time to open the gate and you let the rest of the army through."

They all nodded, the top experts who thought they wouldn't be getting any action felt excitement bubble inside them.

Everybody who had comprehended a law, from law comprehension to four of the five sovereigns rose to the sky.

Moonlight covered the entire army as Fenral carried them. Millions of gigantic beasts flew off, space bent around them and they teleported across galaxies.

Each of the rulers carried their own army to not waste Fenral's energy. He was going to need all of it for what was coming.

Ved was currently facing his own Issues. As expected the races he attacked retaliated. They found and surrounded his minor world.

At first each race tried to open a gate to his world by themselves but the spatial barrier was created by the ancient beast king.

Even thought it power was weakened and limited to the peak of what earth can support, it's still the creation of the beast king.

So unsurprisingly they failed, especially since Ved was also personally strengthening the barrier.

After a few weeks of trying they eventually decided to work together disregarding their differences.

After three top races poured their entire power into opening the gate, it's naturally weakened.

Ved knew he wouldn't be able to hold the barrier for much longer but he wasn't worried at all.

He could just play guerilla warfare, in a war of attrition, he doubted they would lose and even if they do, it won't be easy.

" Happy birthday Ved." He heard voices coming through the door. He looked and saw Ursela, Nimue and the others looking at him with happy smiles.

He smiled back showing his massive terrifying teeth. " Thank you." He replied. " So what are planning for your birthday Bossi?"

White asked with excitement. Ved grinned and looked towards the direction of the three armies.

" I have the perfect activity." White grinned, she knew what he was planning to do, then her face turned sour.

She sighed, pity I can't join you, my breakthrough is close. Evergreen, Avery, Pulse and many others nodded as well.

Ved nodded. " That great news, I wish you all luck." Then he looked around and realised he couldn't see somebody.

" Where's our resident human?" Avery shook her head. " We don't know my lord, she said she was going to look for an old friend."

Ved nodded, he had no idea who that old friend was but if they mattered to her then it was fine.

His feelings towards her were a bit strange to say the least. Although she was a human he didn't hate her.

Infact he cared for her yet he also couldn't bring himself to fully trust her. ' I hope you safe.' he prayed for her.

Angelica walked quietly through the sea of sands. Next to her was a beautiful woman with pink her and six fox tails.

This was Fern who had managed to upgrade her bloodline to sky grade this growing an extra tail.

" So who is this guy we're looking for? Is he your boyfriend? Is he hot? He's hot isn't he? Will you share him, please please.

No no no, I only have eyes for lord Ved so you can keep him, or maybe just share a little."

Angelica felt like tearing her ears out, her friend was really talkative unlike when she first arrived in Ved's minor world or when she learnt of her older sister's death.

After a while though her real personality revealed itself. As a Kitsune she was naturally seductive.

So she flirted with almost everyone, especially males. The only person she tried to act classy with is Ved.

Angelica suddenly stopped walking. " What's wrong?" Fern asked. Angelica closed her eyes then opened them and turned her head to another direction.

" Found him." She whispered. Then kicked off the sand and ran like the wind. The air exploded sending waves of sand through the air.

" WAIT FOR ME." Fern shouted. She wasn't much slower than Angelica though. They were both at the peak of rank 4.

Although Angelica's vessel, the golden spear had a higher grade than Fern's bloodline, Fern was still a beast and was physically stronger than Angelica.

Of course Angelica can breach the physical gap by enhancing her body with essence. As the two of them ran through the dessert, Fern caught the scent of death.

She frowned, the smell was revolting, especially to her nose which was more sensitive than a human's.

This was something new, it made her curious. The two ran even faster then they suddenly stopped.

What they saw shook their souls. A sea of walking corpses covered the dessert like a carpet.

There were humans, beasts, both demonic and spiritual, there were people from the other races.

Angelica frowned, from behind the army she saw him, Sbonga, he was sitting on top of a massive black coffin smiling at her.

" No." She heard a terrified whisper next to her. She looked at her friend and saw her looking at the army with terrified and pained eyes.

She followed her eyes and saw it, Angelica's eyes blazed with rage. At the back of the army she saw him.

She closed her eyes and a tear fell down, " So this is where you were, old man Goldi."
