However just as he was about to absorb the very last particle out of them, space cracked behind them and sucked them in.

He and Naledi stood there frozen not knowing what happened. Then they received a will transmission from the herald.

' Admittedly I underestimated the both of you, no matter, because I'll take you now.' space opened up behind them and tried to suck them in.

However the two of them were not weaklings, they resisted the pull. What terrified Ved though was that his other avatar was also effected.

Books flew through the air in his library as the space rift tried to suck him in. He resisted with all of his might to no avail.

He activated his ignition and used soul force, even anchored himself on the ground but the pull was too strong.

Naledi fared much better than him, she bound her body to the ground with her ice abilities.

Then used soul force and activated her second phase turning into a winged Valkyrie. However that was not all.

Her eyes blazed with blue fire. ' Divine flame.' Ved knew immediately what that was when he saw it.

The world itself seemed to respond to her and grabbed her with it invisible hands. She reached out trying to grab him but couldn't reach.

Not without risking her own life, he kept getting pulled towards the rift with no means to stop himself.

He summoned his other avatar, alone it was faring much worse than three and there was no point keeping it in the minor world since he was already in life threatening danger.

With all four avatars merged his power grew significantly yet it was not enough. Just as he was about to go through the space rift he felt something invisible grab him.

His image bloomed behind him, it was more corporal than the first time. Some parts of it had manifested into physical forms.

The moment it appeared he felt his wings grow stronger to absurd levels. The rest of his body grew weaker.

Something he didn't think was possible happened. His ignition moved from the rest of his body to his wings.

Then golden light poured out from the dragons mouth and fell on him. It too only concentrated on the wings.

He felt his feathers become as strong as the strongest metals, his bones grew tougher and denser.

Realising his image was concentrating all of his power on his wings he did the same. Nuclear energy, lightning and everything he could gathered there.

Then he used his martial intent as well. His wings grew to a power he had never once felt before.

With a single flap he caused a massive storm of fire and lightning. However he had a feeling it was not enough, that the was more.

While with their current power they stopped him from being pulled in, they couldn't take him away from the space rift.

He used his will and soul force to bind everything together. This technique was mentally draining but he had done it twice before.

A long time ago and another with the spear but neither of those came close to this. This time he was merging more than just his nuclear flames and lightning.

There was also martial intent. He realised he couldn't merge ignition as it was just the burning of his vital and soul essence concentrated on his wings.

However he was satisfied with what he was doing. " Ved stop, this is dangerous, your soul can't handle this."

Manas screamed at him. ' I have to, if I stop I die.' she kept quiet after that but even though he couldn't see her he could tell instinctively that she was worried about him.

He didn't stop, he felt a tremendous headache as if his head was spitting into a hundred pieces.

He knew the strain was not merely mental but to his soul as well. Then suddenly out of the space rift came out pitch black chains.

They bound his body and tried to pull him in even harder. He felt himself being yanked back but just before he could go through a tiny hand grabbed his horn.

He looked down and saw Naledi standing Infront of him pulling him back. The fire in her eyes was burning even brighter.

The flames had extended to her feet but he could see the strain on her face. " Whatever you're doing, you need to do it fast because I can't hold on for long."

She said with gritted teeth. " She's telling the truth, with her current soul strength she shouldn't be able to use divine flames to this level for more than 2 minutes."

He couldn't help but frown, two minutes was not enough time. Binding these three together was harder than he would prefer.

His tree image shook, instead of dropping a life drop sn entire leaf fell on him. The leaf seemed endless in size but as if fell on his it suddenly looked small.

Smaller than even the palm of Naledi's dainty hands. It landed on his head and shone with blinding green light.

' How is this possible?' they both heard the surprised will transmission of the herald of plagues.

Ved didn't bother replying, as soon as the leaf fell on his he felt his mental strength grow multiple times stronger.

The blinding green light continuously healed his soul everytime it cracked from the strain. Using that opportunity he gritted his teeth causing spikes to fly.

The lightning and nuclear flames had been bonded once before so it was not as hard for them.

The martial intent was what refused to merge with the two as if they lacked compatibility.

He realised he couldn't merge them into one so he tried a different approach. He would use the martial intent as support instead.

It purpose would be to strengthen the effect of the other two rather than merging into a single power.

When he tried that a change occurred. Everything clicked into place, the blue flames and the purple, blue and green lightning flowed smoothly across his wings.

Then the purple and blue lightning suddenly merged into the green becoming one. He was taken by surprise by this.
