The excitement faded away, leaving only the hollow sound of wind sweeping across the empty grounds.
Max gave a few short orders, and the Sky family servants immediately moved with practiced efficiency, dismantling the arena and clearing away everything as if the grand events of the past days had never happened.
After Bella finished giving several concise instructions, she turned toward Ethan.
"Mr. Ethan, please come with us."
"Today, my Sky family is holding a small banquet," Bella said gently.
"We would like to invite Mr. Ethan to enjoy some wine and food with us, and discuss the Training Trial together. What do you think?"
She paused, then added, "If Mr. Ethan prefers peace and quiet, we can go to the best teahouse in Blue-Wave City. The environment there is secluded and elegant."
"No need," Ethan waved his hand lightly.
"That would be too troublesome. I'll just follow Madam's arrangement."
He had already decided.
If he intended to make use of the Sky family in the future, he naturally needed to see their true foundation with his own eyes.
"Good," Max nodded.
"There's no need for Mr. Ethan to worry. Today's dinner will only be attended by my wife and I, Elara, Damon, and the eldest elder of our Sky family… as well as Uncle Ghost."
"Uncle Ghost?" Ethan raised his eyebrows slightly, catching the unusual title.
Bella explained calmly, "Uncle Ghost is a guest elder of our Sky family, but he is also the sworn brother of our old patriarch. He has stayed with the Sky family for many years and is already considered family."
"I see," Ethan nodded.
He stopped asking questions and followed Max and Bella forward.
The Sky family clan was located in the western outskirts of Blue-Wave City, backed by rolling hills and surrounded by an expanse of elegant buildings. From afar, it looked understated—but the closer one approached, the heavier the invisible pressure became.
When Ethan followed them to the main gate, four guards standing watch immediately straightened and saluted.
"Welcome home, Master and Madam!"
Their voices were unified, crisp, and filled with respect.
It was obvious that Max and Bella's authority within the Sky family was absolute.
Damon and Elara followed behind Ethan, whispering to each other about something unknown.
Ethan lifted his gaze and calmly observed the manor before him.
At that moment, the Heaven-Piercing Mind Eyes opened silently.
A faint blue light flickered deep within his pupils.
In an instant, the entire Sky family estate unfolded clearly within his perception—every building, every hidden corner, every subtle fluctuation of spiritual energy.
As expected of a first-class family in Blue-Wave City.
Five large protective formations were layered one atop another, tightly enveloping the entire clan grounds.
"No… six."
Ethan's expression shifted slightly, turning solemn.
There were five visible formations—three defensive and two auxiliary—but beneath them lay a sixth formation, hidden so deeply that even he had almost overlooked it.
This formation was extremely covert.
Its aura blended perfectly with heaven and earth. Without the Heaven-Piercing Mind Eyes, even an Ultimate Supreme would likely miss it.
This was no ordinary formation.
Its level was at least holy-grade.
Ethan's gaze sharpened as he carefully observed the surrounding terrain.
Only then did he notice the deeper mystery.
The land itself was special.
The four directions corresponded to wind, fire, forest, and mountains.
To the south, rolling hills formed a broken ridge, where wind currents gathered and dispersed endlessly.
To the north lay a dense forest, thick with wood-attribute vitality.
To the east, sparse mountains and exposed gravel formed a rugged, earth-heavy terrain.
Ethan turned his head slightly, then lowered his gaze.
Beneath the Sky family gate, deep underground, fire-veins pulsed quietly.
Magma flowed beneath the earth.
The temperature here was subtly higher, the soil drier, and fire-attribute power far richer than the surrounding areas.
Each of the four directions contained a formation node—but none of them were the core.
One of the true core nodes was hidden high above, within the clouds.
The other lay buried deep beneath the Sky family estate.
Six nodes.
Heaven and earth connected.
Mountains and land providing power.
This formation drew upon natural terrain rather than pure spiritual crystals, drastically reducing consumption while increasing stability.
Though its aura was concealed, Ethan could still clearly sense it.
Within the formation flowed strands of terrifying power—divine power.
Not ordinary divine power.
Perfect divine power.
This was not something an Ultimate Supreme could wield casually.
"This…" Ethan narrowed his eyes inwardly.
"Only a Perfect Supreme could have arranged such a formation."
Strands of divine power flowed along intricate patterns, linking the six nodes together into a seamless whole.
"The Sky family is far from simple."
The strength of this formation alone was no weaker than the Heaven-Burning Ten Thousand Fire Formation he possessed.
If even someone like Valerius were trapped within it, escape would be extremely difficult.
Even Ethan himself, relying solely on personal strength, could not say with absolute certainty that he could break through it.
Fortunately…
He possessed artifacts.
If necessary, a divine weapon would be enough to tear this hidden clan-protecting formation apart.
Still, one question lingered in Ethan's mind.
With such a powerful formation, why did the Sky family still submit themselves to the Palace of the Four Cycles?
Before he could dwell on it further, Elara's voice sounded softly from behind.
"Mr. Ethan, is something wrong?"
"Nothing," Ethan replied calmly.
"I just feel that the location of your clan, though seemingly ordinary, is actually very particular. This is a hidden geomantic treasure land."
Bella and Max exchanged a glance.
A flicker of surprise crossed their eyes.
Bella smiled warmly. "Mr. Ethan is truly extraordinary—not only in talent and strength, but also in perception. This place is indeed a hidden geomantic treasure. For Mr. Ethan to notice it so quickly… I admire you."
"You flatter me, Madam," Ethan replied modestly.
"I only noticed something unusual. Half of it was observation, half intuition. It's not much of a skill."
At that moment, a guard stepped forward and bowed.
"I greet Young Master Damon, and Third Miss."
The voice interrupted their conversation.
"This is Mr. Ethan, a distinguished guest of our Sky family."
