Chapter 533(Magic Castle Extra Chapter)

"Third Sister, do you want me to ask him?" Damon asked again, his tone deliberately casual.

"You can do whatever you want," Elara replied calmly, her posture dignified.

"You're no longer a child. You don't need to ask me about everything."

"Okay then," Damon nodded seriously.

"I won't ask."

He folded his arms and looked ahead, deliberately ignoring the sudden stiffness in Elara's shoulders. From the corner of his eye, however, he watched her closely.

The moment his words fell—

Elara's expression changed.

Her fingers clenched unconsciously, her nails digging into her palms. She had been waiting. Waiting for him to ask. Waiting to hear the answer.

And now he stopped?

That infuriating brat.

Her eyes sharpened instantly, turning cold as blades.

"You little—" Elara hissed through clenched teeth. "Hurry up."

"Sister, what did you say?" Damon tilted his head innocently.

"I didn't hear anything. Why are you glaring at me like that?"

"You—!" Elara nearly lost her composure. "Go quickly and ask Ethan if he is—"

"Alright, alright." Damon raised both hands in surrender. If he pushed any further, his third sister might actually beat him.

He quickened his steps and followed Ethan into the main hall.

"Brother Ethan," Damon said, casually patting Ethan on the shoulder.

"What is it?" Ethan asked calmly.

"Nothing important," Damon grinned. "I just want to ask… is Brother Ethan married?"

"Married?" Ethan paused briefly. "I already have a sweetheart."

Damon's eyes widened slightly. "I see. Then what about my third sister?"

Ethan glanced at him sideways. "As I said, I already have a sweetheart."

Damon leaned closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially.

"Brother Ethan, you're a man. Having three wives and four concubines is normal. Don't let my sister's cold appearance fool you—she's cold on the outside, hot on the inside. She's very suitable as a wife."

"…Is that so?" Ethan narrowed his eyes slightly and looked toward the elegant figure following quietly behind them.

"The Training Trial is approaching," Ethan said evenly.

"Everything should be centered on that. We can talk about other matters after the trial."

"Okay," Damon nodded enthusiastically.

"After the Training Trial."

He moved behind Ethan and gave Elara an unmistakable OK sign.

When Elara received the message, her tense shoulders relaxed slightly, and the tightness in her chest eased.

So his orientation was normal.

That was good.

Very good.

In that case… her chances were not small.

She might not have absolute confidence in her cultivation talent, but in terms of beauty and temperament, she had never doubted herself.

In all of Blue-Wave City, only a handful of women could rival her—Ember, Lunara, and a few other peerless daughters of heaven.

She refused to believe she couldn't move Ethan's heart.

No matter the race—human, demon, monster—who did not possess emotions and desires?

Unless one's heart was truly wood or stone, no one could remain unmoved forever.

The group arrived at the center of the main hall.

An Eight Immortals table carved from ten-thousand-year rosewood stood quietly there, radiating a deep, ancient fragrance.

Max and Bella took their seats first, followed by Uncle Ghost and the Great Elder.

"Mr. Ethan, please," Bella said, gesturing toward the seat of honor.

"Then I won't stand on ceremony," Ethan replied, cupping his hands lightly as he sat down.

Damon tactfully relinquished the seat beside Ethan to Elara and sat next to his mother instead.

Elara stood beside Ethan, bowed slightly, and smiled gently. Her demeanor was soft, refined, and perfectly measured.

Truly the bearing of a noble lady.

"May I sit next to you, Mr. Ethan?" Elara asked softly.

"Of course," Ethan replied with a polite smile. "Please."

Uncle Ghost chuckled when he saw this, deep wrinkles folding across his face.

"Mr. Ethan is now the noble son-in-law of the Sky family. From now on, you and Elara are husband and wife. There's no need to be so polite."

"…," Ethan merely smiled and said nothing.

"Serve the dishes," Max clapped his hands.

Immediately, graceful maids filed in from outside, carrying delicacies and fine wine. The fragrance filled the hall, rich and mouthwatering.

Soon, the table was laden with dishes shimmering with spiritual energy, each one clearly prepared with great care.

"Physical cultivation differs from spiritual cultivation," Max said warmly.

"One must replenish the body often. These dishes contain abundant blood and essence. Mr. Ethan, please try them."

Ethan nodded and picked up his chopsticks without hesitation.

The atmosphere relaxed.

They ate, drank, and exchanged words lightly, laughter echoing faintly through the hall.

Only when Ethan finally set down his chopsticks did his expression grow serious.

"Master Max, Madam Bella," he said calmly, "can we discuss business now?"

The atmosphere instantly changed.

Uncle Ghost raised his hand, and a powerful barrier unfolded, sealing the entire hall from outside perception.

"Alright," Max said solemnly. "Let's talk business."

He glanced at Bella.

Bella nodded, then spread her palm.

A purple, translucent jade token floated into the air before Ethan.

"Alicia," Ethan said inwardly, "open the holographic eyes."

[Okay, Sir. Holographic eyes opening.]

[Scanning in progress… scan complete. Sage Token confirmed.]

A pale blue light flickered briefly within Ethan's eyes.

"It's genuine," he said calmly, reaching out and taking the Sage Token.

The jade was icy cold to the touch, its texture flawless. At a glance, one could tell it was no ordinary relic.

The Sage Emperor had been one of the most terrifying emperors of Oceanreach in the past hundred thousand years. More than a hundred Sage Tokens existed—each equivalent to a holy-grade spiritual weapon.

"This Sage Token is ownerless," Max said.

"You only need to imprint your mental energy on it."

"But be careful," Bella added.

"The Sage Emperor specialized in slaughter. This token contains extremely violent killing intent."

"If you're careless while imprinting, your sea of consciousness could be severely damaged."

"Thank you for the reminder," Ethan replied, eyes gleaming faintly.

"I'd like to experience the killing intent within this token."

He held the Sage Token firmly.

Mental energy surged forth, slow and steady, flowing into the jade.

The imprint formed smoothly.

And then—

A piercing, mournful sound exploded within Ethan's mind.

In an instant, the world spun.

Darkness swallowed everything.

He found himself in an unfamiliar realm.

The sky was shattered.

The earth was ruined.

Countless ferocious cracks split open the heavens as meteorites rained down, wrapped in blazing flames, smashing into the land and forming one gigantic crater after another.
