Chapter 551

In the Training Trial Secret Realm, cultivation realms meant little.

What mattered was combat depth.

Experience, physique, secret techniques, killing intent, and the ability to mobilize power under suppression—these were the true measures of strength.

Under normal circumstances, a Supreme who possessed divine power could crush a Supreme without it.

But such beings could not enter the Training Trial Secret Realm.

Thus, Luca had always believed—without exaggeration—that with his current combat power, there were no more than one person in the entire secret realm who could truly threaten him.

And that person was definitely **not** standing before him now.

"Your Royal Highness the Holy Son," Ethan said calmly, a faint smile curling at the corners of his mouth, "you really are forgetful. Have you truly never heard of the Azure Origin Dao Sect of the Skyreach Territory?"

"Skyreach Territory? Azure Origin Dao Sect?" Luca laughed coldly.

"A lowly human sect. I could pick any sect from Blackspire Mountain and crush it with one finger."

"With that kind of background, entering the Demon Territory would already be a miracle—obtaining a Sage Token is even more impossible."

He lifted his spear slightly, black demonic fire coiling around it like a living serpent.

"Enough nonsense. Reveal your identity."

"Let me see what kind of thing dares to barge into the cave of my Blackspire Mountain demon sect."

"You truly don't know how to live or die."

Boom!

A terrifying wave of pressure erupted from Luca's body. The cave walls trembled, cracks spreading like spiderwebs through the rock.

Outside the cave, the blood-red mist surged violently.

The murderous tide swept past like a silent ocean, roaring without sound.

Because of the barrier, the killing intent could not pour inside—but it pressed against the cave walls like an unseen beast.

Other demons noticed the disturbance.

But none dared come closer.

To step outside their barriers now was to be swallowed whole by the murderous tide.

With their realms suppressed below Supreme, even one breath in that tide could mean death.

"Your Highness's information is outdated," Ethan replied lightly.

"Today, I—Ethan of the Azure Origin Dao Sect—have come to deliver you a gift."

The Star of Great Stillness in his palm rotated slowly.

Its surface was calm, yet the power within was terrifyingly dense—compressed to the point where space itself seemed to bend around it.

One release would be enough to annihilate everything in this cave.

"Junior Brother Ethan… you're finally here."

Kara's voice carried a trace of relief.

A faint smile appeared on her lips.

"I'm not late, am I?" Ethan asked, glancing at her.

"No." Kara shook her head.

The tension she had been suppressing finally dissipated.

Now that Ethan was here, she no longer needed to endure, to act, or to hide.

When the trial ended, she would leave with him—leave this false life behind.

As for the Black Demon Sect?

Let it rot.

She had never belonged to it in the first place.

"Junior brother?" Luca's eyes narrowed.

"Are you from the Black Demon Sect?"

"It doesn't matter," Ethan replied indifferently.

"After tonight, there will be no Luca left in this world."

"Master, who is he?" Morwen whispered.

"Don't worry," Kara said softly. "He's here to save us."

Morwen nodded.

She didn't ask further.

If her master trusted him, that was enough.

"Hahaha!"

Luca laughed loudly, his voice echoing through the cave.

"Making me disappear? Truly shameless."

"This is the Training Trial Secret Realm."

"No matter how monstrous you are outside, once you're here, you're nothing more than a peak Ninth-Turn Mahayana cultivator."

"You want to kill me?"

"How whimsical."

A black spear materialized in his hand.

Demonic fire roared up its shaft, the heat warping the air. Spear intent surged, sharp and violent, filling the cave with killing intent.

Luca did not dare underestimate Ethan.

The flame in Ethan's hand was too dangerous.

He decided to go all out—fast and decisive.

"You're right," Ethan said calmly.

"But even at Ninth-Turn Mahayana, there is still a gap."

"Senior Sister Kara—take your disciple and step back."

Kara immediately retreated with Morwen, stopping at the cave's edge.

"Hahaha!"

Luca's laughter turned savage.

"In my entire life, this is the first time I've seen someone this arrogant."

"Even the Saintess of the Palace of the Four Cycles wouldn't dare claim she could definitely defeat me."

"And you?"

"An unknown nobody dares to speak like this in front of me?"

"I don't care whether you're from the Black Demon Sect or some garbage Azure Origin Dao Sect."

"Since you came—you will not leave alive!"

Two drops of bright red blood suddenly seeped from Luca's fingertips.

Without hesitation, he sacrificed his blood essence, flicking it onto the spear.

Boom!

Black demonic waves exploded outward.

The fire on the spear surged violently, the spear intent climbing to a terrifying peak.

The entire cave shook as if it might collapse.

"The Holy Son of the Heavenly Demon Sect does have some skill," Ethan said, narrowing his eyes.

Under suppression, Luca's combat power was indeed monstrous.

In this secret realm, very few could stand against him.

Unfortunately—

He had met Ethan.

"Luca," Ethan said coldly, killing intent flooding his eyes, "today I kill you here, and erase future trouble at its root."

The moment the last word fell—

Ethan vanished.

"Huh?!"

Luca's expression changed sharply.

"So fast!"

He reacted instantly, spear sweeping sideways in a blazing arc of black flame.

"He's here!"

The spear pierced through an afterimage.

Ethan had already shifted positions.

His movements were ghostlike, erratic, impossible to track.

In just a few breaths, he closed to within three feet of Luca.

"How is this possible?!"

"Is this really the speed of a Ninth-Turn Mahayana?!"

Luca's pupils contracted violently.

He hurriedly raised his spear to defend.

Bang!

A muffled explosion shook the cave.

Ethan twisted his body midair, muscles tightening as power surged through every inch of his frame.

The Celestial Jade Physique Scripture fully opened; essence and blood surged violently, and his leg swept out like an iron whip, howling through the air.
