Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 213: Welcome to Hell Training: Couple Edition

Garion leaned back against the wall, arms crossed, a small grin tugging at his lips.

"Raviel, we're back here again. Except now..."

He pointed lazily at Aveline. "There's one more person joining."

Raviel's face twitched. He already remembered the hellish month of training Garion put him through.

Garion continued, amused.

"Last time, I trained you for one month so you could beat Aveline. And now look at this… the three of us sitting here like a nice reunion."

Raviel let out a resigned sigh.

Aveline raised an eyebrow. "So this time we're both being trained by you? To prepare for the archipelago?"

Garion nodded. "Yup. And yes... it's going to be harder."

Aveline blinked. "Harder?"

Raviel turned toward her with a stiff expression. He took her hand like he was giving his last confession.

"Aveline… I'm going to say sorry in advance. This training will be brutal. Brutal. I barely survived last time."

Aveline smirked, rolling her shoulders.

"Don't worry too much, Raviel. Do you think I've never pushed myself? To be Matriarch, I trained harder to be better than any man."

Raviel shook his head quickly. "No, no. This is different. Garion isn't normal. He's not even close."

Aveline scoffed. "Raviel, I'm not scared."

Raviel lowered his voice. "You should be."

Garion burst out laughing, clapping once.

"GOOD. I like that spirit. Let's begin tomorrow. Rest well, both of you. You won't get much rest afterward."

Aveline crossed her arms, but the corner of her mouth twitched upward. "Fine. I'll take whatever you throw at me."

Raviel just slumped forward. "I already regret agreeing…"

Garion patted his shoulder. "Don't worry, Raviel. You're used to it."

Raviel groaned. Aveline smirked.

And Garion walked out of the room with the smile of a man ready to turn both leaders into monsters.

---

The next day, Raviel and Aveline were ready.

Aveline tugged at the thin training shirt again, her face stiff.

The outfit looked simple. It was a short top and tight shorts, but to her, it felt like she was practically naked.

Raviel stretched beside her, already used to Garion's "gym style."

He wore a sleeveless shirt and shorts like it was the most normal thing in the world.

He noticed her discomfort and chuckled softly. "Don't worry too much. These clothes make training easier. Trust me."

Aveline let out a slow breath. "If you say so…"

Before she could complain again...

Garion appeared out of nowhere like a ghost.

"Good morning," he said, smiling too brightly for how early it was. "Are you ready?"

Both Raviel and Aveline straightened up.

"We're ready."

"Good." Garion smirked and tossed something toward Raviel.

Raviel caught them and froze. "…No. No way."

A set of black bracelets and anklets.

"Garion. This again?!" Raviel groaned, dragging a hand down his face.

Garion shrugged casually. "Of course. And relax. This time, it's a special version. [Divine Weight Strap]."

Raviel glared. "Last time you made me wear two hundred kilos!"

"Just put it on," Garion said, completely ignoring his suffering.

Raviel muttered curses under his breath but strapped them on.

One on each wrist. One on each ankle. And one for his waist.

He blinked. "Wait… this isn't that heavy."

Garion's grin sharpened.

The straps suddenly compressed, and the weight slammed down on Raviel like a mountain.

"WHAT THE?!" Raviel almost fell to his knees.

Garion clapped once. "Right. They're not heavy at first, but these adjust themselves."

Raviel trembled. "Adjust…?"

"The stronger you are, the heavier they get. So maybe they won't stay at two hundred kilos." Garion smiled.

"Actually, they'll go way past that."

Raviel let out a dying groan. "Damn it…"

Garion then turned to Aveline.

"Your turn."

Aveline pointed at herself. "Me?!"

"Yes. You."

She sighed, accepting the straps like someone accepting their fate.

She put them on her wrist, ankle, and waist.

"Huh… it's not that…"

Before she could finish... the straps activated instantly.

Her knees buckled, her back stiffened, and her eyes twitched.

"…Garion."

"Mm-hm?" he replied, all innocent smiles.

Aveline tilted her head slowly, jaw tight. "This… is WAY heavier than it looks."

Garion placed his hands behind his back, smirking.

"Of course it is. The straps adjust themselves to the heaviest weight you can barely lift."

He smirked. "And you two will be wearing those all the time."

Both Raviel and Aveline groaned like tortured animals.

Raviel dragged a foot across the ground. "You… you demon."

Aveline's voice cracked. "Garion, are you trying to kill us?"

Garion clapped his hands cheerfully. "Nope! I'm trying to make you strong."

He then walked over to the table and picked up two thick books.

He shoved them into their hands with zero hesitation.

"Now, let's start with the basics. No heavy training today."

Raviel blinked. "Wait… no lifting?"

"Nope. Today is learning day."

He tapped the book with his finger.

"Human body. Cells. Muscles. Blood flow. Organs. All that good stuff."

Aveline flipped a random page and immediately blinked at the diagrams.

"…This is a LOT."

Raviel rubbed his forehead. "Garion… this is thicker than my clan's entire history book."

Garion just shrugged with a casual grin.

"Yeah, well. You two want to learn the real God Gym method, right? Then you need to understand the body from the inside out."

Aveline raised an eyebrow. "Inside out?"

Garion pointed at her head. "Mind first. Body second. That's the rule."

Raviel let out a breath. "Can we even finish all this?"

Garion smirked. "You're Patriarch and Matriarch. Stop acting like rookies. Use that big brain of yours."

Aveline narrowed her eyes. "Are you insulting us or complimenting us?"

"Yes," Garion answered instantly.

Aveline glared.

Raviel weakly laughed. "Garion… this is a ridiculous amount of material."

Garion walked behind them and nudged their shoulders toward the table.

"Cry later. Read now."

He pulled out a chair with his foot and sat sideways, watching them like a proud teacher.

"Learn the body. Understand the body. Then train the body. A day or two is enough."

Aveline turned another page full of diagrams and exhaled slowly.

"Heart… lungs… veins… mana pathways… What even is this word?"

Garion nodded enthusiastically. "You'll get used to it. Eventually."
