Defying the Fate of Beheading

Chapter 90: Shelving Sentiment

"My Heinous Life, Decapitation Not an Option" is finally going to be published.

The launch time is December 20, 2023, at 12:05 PM, which is tomorrow.

As per usual: first thanks, then some drama, and finally a tribute to my buddies.

(1) Thanks.

Thank you to all readers for your support, including but not limited to those who have kept up with the story, given rewards, and voted with monthly/ recommendation votes during this time.

It's because of your support that this book has reached its current status.

Next, thanks to my editor, great Penglai (though I always call her Milky Peng in private), initially, Luoluo had prepared five new book beginnings, planning to try them one by one.

But Milky Peng immediately picked this one, and when she loudly questioned me "does it have a white-haired, red-eyed character," I instantly changed my mind, thinking "whichever gets approved is the one I'll write":

"Yes, the Libra Saintess Grace is white-haired and red-eyed!"

And so, this story, which was written last, was smoothly launched.

Finally, thanks to readers including Ah Ying, Reader20221102091155822, and others who helped identify overly dull content and corrected mistakes for me; there are a large number of such readers.

They provided tremendous help and improved the reading experience for future readers—endless gratitude.

(2) Drama

I'm Louis, send money!

No need to delve much into the usual topic—just another unlucky yet fortunate fool living in a daze day by day, not worth mentioning.

——Actually, it's mainly because the old books have talked about it a few times already.

Ah Luo is a full-time writer; while writing is driven by interest, there's also the hope of having enough to eat.

During this full-time year, I've written over 3 million words, so feel free to follow the updates with peace of mind.

To the dear readers who find this book interesting, please consider subscribing; if you could set it to auto-subscribe, it would be even more appreciated.

If times are really tough, even a first day subscription is great. If you can't give one, that's understandable, prioritize yourself first.

If nothing else, let Ah Luo leech some monthly votes, hoping to snag a bit of traffic from the new book monthly job ranking, as new books can only make it to the list in their release month, and I'm quite eager.

Old readers all know, Ah Luo is a writer who can crank out ten thousand words a day, trying to write more while keeping the storyline in check—no need to worry about me slacking off.

Lastly, no matter if each reader supporting Ah Luo can follow through to the end of this book or not, it's still a kind of fate. To meet everyone in the vast sea of people because of a book is truly wonderful.

(3) Reflections

The tone of this book mainly features a joyous, lighthearted bickering romance; as everyone says, it's like "No Brain and Unhappy," with the goal being to tell a story while bringing some joy to everyone.

Avoid what should be avoided, like a certain reader teasing I'm a veteran of the Y Club.

Be happy when you should be happy, striving to leave everyone a joyful and memorable experience.

Show off when you should show off, as Jino said; if getting stronger isn't for showing off, then it's meaningless.

If there's a deviation in writing, feel free to criticize, and I'll make the necessary changes.

At most, I'll revise and then quietly delete the bad reviews, pretending it never happened (whispers).

(4) Sacrificial Ceremony

I love Xiaoyi's "Life Instance Game," Master Bayi is a veteran writer with whom Ah Luo often discusses writing content. His book is nearing ten thousand subscriptions, worth a look.

White Dove's "Alzues's Pirate Journey," a pirate farming novel with high momentum, the author was once fooled by Ah Luo to watch "The Tuisun," whose mental state has been crashing ever since, and I think... that's just fabulous!

"In Qin, Lost to Indulging" by OneNapUntilsNoonWake, a fine Qin-themed work; the content is all in the title (quirky).

"Uchiha: Beginning with Imprisoning Tobirama" by Claypot Rice with Salt Meat and Green Beans, this book is en route to ten thousand subscriptions; very impressive, worth a look (I'll toss him into the claypot to simmer first).

"Konoha: I, Uchiha, Brimming with Positive Energy" by UrgeMeToWrite, a top-notch fire shadow work; ahem, the author frequently outwits and engages in cat-and-mouse games with reviewers, those who understand will understand.

"Naruto, Be My Son" by Sticky Rice Candy-Coated Hawthorn, from the 'if Naruto had a family' series.

"Shen Gongbao's Great Sage's Persuasion of the Immortal Death" by Changhaichengchen, a grand Xianxia piece, one of the rare few who write poems in Xianxia.

"Daoist Lord: Starting from a Superior Golden Core" by Gold Core Removal Surgery, a Xianxia nearing ten thousand subscriptions; ahem, regarding Danzi's update... I've already planned to electronically raise this book as a sacrifice during this ceremony.

Sacrifice, sacrifice them all!

...

Finally, launching at noon tomorrow; asking for subscriptions, monthly votes, and everything else.

Hoping the first day's subscriptions look good, I beg you all, please!

Above all.
