10x Rewards: Becoming Invincible With My Sign-in System

Chapter 130: Best Cook

As one might expect, the talk with Xiu went smoothly. She was thrilled and excited by his offer and instantly agreed to help him. After all, she and Aurelia were very old friends, so naturally she also wished to meet her again.

After they discussed the whole situation, Xiu disconnected after saying she would handle everything, including the traveling arrangements of their Elf friends.

The connection between Slyvanna and the Human Domain was cut off by mystical means, so one couldn't contact them through communication stones.

Xiu would have to make a personal trip most likely, and even then, Aegon didn't know who she could contact over there.

But since she had taken the responsibility, Aegon knew she would see it through till the end.

"Good! The problem for our last position is solved," Aegon said, happiness dripping from his smile. "El will join us in the Supremacy Games."

Luna leaned sideways and whispered to Rosa, "You have competition. See how happy he became just from knowing they'll be meeting soon."

"Do you think he loves her?" Rosa asked, staring at his smile with narrowed eyes.

"I thought you knew everything about us," Luna said.

"I don't know something like that."

Luna gave her a long look before saying, "Well, I don't know if we can call that love, but they do share special connections. So if you want to be his life partner, I'm sure you'll have to compete with her."

"Hehe, I already knew about that," Rosa said, finally smiling again. "I knew she'd be my biggest competition, but she won't win. Someone like her can't win him over anyway."

Their conversation ended right there, as Aegon stood up and announced, "I'm going to the Dean's office and see if there's any way we can include El in our team."

Normally, only Academy students could participate in the Supremacy Games, but Aegon clearly remembered the foundation of how this Academy worked.

Simulation of life.

There were certainly many ways to go around rules in real life — even those set by the Emperor himself.

"It's almost evening," Xavier said. "How about we have dinner together?"

"Not a bad idea," Aegon nodded in agreement. "I'll cook!"

"Really?" Rosa exclaimed. "This will be my first time eating your handmade meals."

"Then look forward to it, because he makes delicious food," Cali said, as always a loyal fan of his cooking.

"Oh yeah, Rosa, go and register your House and submit our details," Aegon said, turning toward Rosa. "We only have a week left for the Supremacy Games, so we also need to practice then."

"Got it!" Rosa jumped to her feet and said, "Then the name shall be House Rogon."

"It doesn't even flow properly," Aegon rolled his eyes. "Anyways, let's meet at Cali's house later."

...

Aegon entered the Dusk City, lost in thoughts as he continued to wander through the familiar streets.

'Things are going so smoothly.'

He expected Amon to create some problems for him, but the old man agreed easily since the Emperor had already told him about the details.

'Opa really works fast.'

In such a short time, Arnold convinced the Emperor, and Aegon was sure he took even more discreet steps to help him.

In this one week, the Academy would be enforced with more security than ever before. It was an event which would definitely bring massive changes to the world.

They needed to make sure those changes were positive.

'Hecte, what do you think about this situation?' Aegon asked.

[The demons will most likely stir trouble through their hidden spies. Or in the worst case, launch an attack. But there's no need to worry about that. I'll protect you and young miss too.]

'Yes, I'm a little worried about that.' Aegon sighed. 'I will need to prepare more. I can't lose now. Not after pulling such a stunt.'

[The humans will target her in-game, and it'll be legal to hunt her.]

'Yes, that's why I'll make sure we're the hunters.'

Before long, he arrived at Cali's house, which had been abandoned for quite some time. But now, as he took a step inside, he found it lively once again.

He couldn't help but smile hearing the laughter from the living room. This was really all he had wanted once and even now, his desire remained the same.

A home to return to.

People who would welcome him with open arms.

Who wouldn't want that?

"I'm home!" he shouted, laughing to himself.

"Oh, welcome home, monkey," Xavier was the first to greet him as usual.

"Alright, you can starve to death today," Aegon said without even looking at him.

"Oii! That's unfair!"

"My food, my rules." Aegon shrugged before his eyes moved toward Rosa, who was accompanying Luna in the kitchen. "What are they doing?"

"Preparing ingredients for you," Cali answered, as she came over to sit on the sofa. "Anyways, do you have a plan or something?"

"We can discuss this at dinner," Aegon said, as he headed to his room.

After bathing and changing into casual clothes, he went to the kitchen and found the two ladies being casual with each other, as if they had been friends for ages.

"You two surprisingly bonded well," he said, really finding this pair surprising.

"Why?" Luna asked while Rosa helped him wear the apron. "She's such a sweet girl, so why wouldn't I like her?"

"Many would disagree," Aegon chuckled, earning a light smack on his back. "What? I dare you to go ask any first or second-year girls what they think of her?"

"I don't give a damn about what they think of me," Rosa replied. "But the people here are different. They're important for you, so naturally they're important for me too."

Aegon shook his head and began his work. In the last one year, he had taken cooking classes during his breaks to calm his mind, so now his cooking had upgraded by a lot.

Before long, the dining table was filled with dozens of delicacies, making everyone drool just from the sight. Even the fragrance aroused their hunger.

Although they were supposed to discuss their strategies while eating, no one even spoke as they all just enjoyed the food with satisfied looks on their faces.

Once Rosa finished the last bit of her dessert, she gave a big thumbs-up to Aegon and said, "You already conquered my heart and now you did the same with my tummy. Marry me, please. I can't live without you."

"If we win the Supremacy Games, we'll go on a date." Aegon said, making her eyes light up. "Now then, let's see what we need to do for the Supremacy Games."
