The bar turned so chaotic and damaged that the manager had to come down. The moment he saw everything, he couldn't help but sigh, showing how he was already used to these things.

He turned towards the man who had started all of this and said, "You destroyed half of my establishment."

"Stop exaggerating," Aegon rolled his eyes and threw a pouch full of gold coins towards him. "This should be enough."

The manager caught the pouch and opened it. His eyes glistened upon seeing so many gold coins as he said, "More than enough. Beat him up as much as you want."

He went back to the first floor, uninterested in the matter happening below now.

By then, Elara and Luna also joined Aegon as they all watched the show. Luna even gave a thumbs-up and said, "I used many methods to get rid of people like them, but this one is definitely my favourite."

Aegon had to agree with her. He turned towards Elara and asked, "Are you disappointed I didn't save you myself?"

"I would have liked it too, but it's quite old-fashioned now. This one is unique," Elara chuckled and said. "I love it."

"Finally, this money was of some use," Aegon felt relieved.

"I might use it too," Luna said, impressed by the method.

"You do know it'll probably backfire," Aegon warned her.

"Ah, there's that. I almost forgot," Luna nodded. "Alright, I'll stick with my own plans."

"Want to watch a bit longer?" Elara asked.

"Nope. I'm done here," Aegon shook his head.

Since their business was done here, they left the bar. Aegon also marked it for the future, as he really liked the tea there. Perhaps, when he became an adventurer and stopped by Dusk City, he would come back and enjoy it again.

Crossing the city, they didn't encounter any problems and reached the bottom of the Academy in no time. Standing before the grand hand of the dead God, they couldn't help but admire the sight once again.

It was the case for pretty much everyone. Even if they lived there for years, they couldn't get used to it. After all, the hand was like a giant mountain itself, not to mention how it aroused an eerie feeling in one's heart.

They ascended the stairs and found the Academy lively and bustling, even more so than usual.

"I'll go to my House then," Luna said, skipping forward happily as she waved her hand. "See you later."

"She's happier than usual," Elara said. "Also, seems more free."

"Perhaps she's just happy for her friends," Aegon smiled.

Elara lightly punched him on the shoulder and said, "Stop making everything about yourself."

"About us," Aegon corrected her. "We make a good couple, so obviously she's happy for us."

"Smooth talker," Elara looked away, but her slightly red ears gave her away.

Aegon smiled, taking her hand in his, which surprised her and turned her face bright red. He could swear he heard some murmurs from her, but he ignored them and dragged her towards the Dean's office.

Of course, he understood why she was embarrassed, but it wasn't like she didn't want it. In fact, he could feel her grip on his hand tightening. She was just shy about being seen by everyone while holding hands.

It really amused him.

"Say, you can slaughter the prince before his whole Empire with such a calm face, but now you're shy and embarrassed?" he teased her.

"Shut up! They're not the same!" Her temper flared up, though it only looked cute to him.

"Then, is it embarrassing to hold hands with me?" he asked. "You don't like it?"

"It's not like that. I-I like it too," she whispered, looking down as she let him guide her wherever he was taking her.

Aegon laughed, which made her punch his hand in protest, but she still didn't release it. It was clear she was shy to admit how much she loved it too.

Suddenly, something struck Aegon as he asked, "Wait! You don't believe that people get pregnant by holding hands, do you?"

"I'm not stupid!" Elara pouted, obviously displeased that he treated her like some dumb kid.

"Hehe!"

Soon, they were in front of the Dean's office building, where they composed themselves again. Elara wasn't comfortable with others seeing her true side, as she had spent her entire lifetime preparing her princess persona for everyone.

Aegon gave her a glance before kicking open the door as he shouted, "Old man, I've come to collect the debts."

"Shut your damn mouth and get out!"

He ignored the bellowing Amon and walked into the building, while Elara gave him a strange gaze the whole time. Of course, he wouldn't change his relationship with Amon just because Elara was there now.

Opening the door of his office, he said, "I'm not going back until you give back everything you owe me."

He was going to say more, but the words stuck in his throat as he noticed another presence in the office. He cursed himself for forgetting such an obvious thing.

A beautiful woman with porcelain skin, long flowing white hair, and blood-red eyes stared back at him with amusement. Her blue dress was covered with mesmerising floral patterns, which seemed to highlight her presence even more.

But there was something around her that made the room itself deathly cold. What Aegon found truly odd was how she stared at him with a warm gaze, contrasting with the cold presence she exuded.

'Fuck! Of course she'll stay in the office room.'

Aegon also noticed Amon sitting leisurely on his chair, giving him a smug look which made him want to punch the old man even more. That face surely demanded a beating.

Elara coughed to remove the awkward atmosphere and stepped forward. She bowed slightly towards Liliana. "Good morning, Lady Liliana."

"Good morning to you too, young lady," Liliana smiled lightly towards her.

Looking at her smile, even Elara felt dazed for a moment. Liliana's beauty could charm even her, which made her wonder if Aegon got his handsome genes from her.

'Still, that smile is so beautiful.'

"Now that there's a beautiful woman here, you're both forgetting this old man," Amon sighed, sounding disappointed.

'You're forgettable,' Aegon wanted to retort, but held himself back.
