Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor

Chapter 97: Reflections on Going Premium

Good evening, after writing for so long, it's finally time to launch.

As a new author, I feel a lot of pressure, really, so I want to join in the fun and share my thoughts with everyone.

First of all, thanks to all the readers who've been following along.

Honestly, the performance of this book isn't very good. It hasn't even reached 5,000 collections yet, which normally makes it hard to launch at 200,000 words.

But what surprises and moves me is that even though there aren't many collections, the follow-through reading is very stable. Back-end data shows it's consistently between 400 and 430.

Compared to the number of collections, this follow-through rate makes me very happy and makes me feel that this book does have some attractive points.

Of course, I also know that after launch, some readers will inevitably drop off.

This is normal.

I estimate that about 200 will convert from pre-reading, and initial subscriptions will probably be a little over 100.

My expectations aren't high; if there can be 200 subscriptions, I'll be satisfied.

After the launch, I can't promise explosive updates, but I will definitely write more, certainly not just 4,000 a day.

Today's update will not be less than 8,000 words, and I will also try my best to maintain a steady update pace going forward.

Because I am a rookie author, my writing speed is relatively slow, and there are other jobs, so currently, I dare not promise daily updates of ten thousand words.

But I will definitely write more than in the new book period to let everyone read more.

Now that this book has been launched, please don't vote for me anymore.

Your recommendation votes and monthly votes can be given to other authors who are still struggling through their new book periods.

Especially those who write farming novels, this genre is naturally a slow burn, and it's hard to gain momentum in the early stages.

The authors are under a lot of pressure; unless they write exceptionally well or just hit the reader's interest point, the results can easily flop.

As you can see, even farming novels recommended in Sanjiang struggle to achieve higher scores compared to other categories.

Often, it's only after the word count increases that they have a chance to gradually climb up.

So, if you are willing, you can support some authors who are still in their new book periods.

I don't want to see them struggling painfully, doubting themselves every day and losing focus on their content.

Of course, I especially thank you all for your support during the new book period!

Whether it's voting, commenting, or occasionally popping up for interaction, having discussions with me and Sharon, it all made me feel accompanied by you.

Especially those readers who have silently supported me all along, your monthly votes and recommendation votes are all remembered in my heart.

If everyone likes this book, you can also choose to subscribe to support. I'm cheekily asking for an automatic subscription.

With my writing speed, you don't have to worry about going bankrupt. It'll cost at most 50 cents a day (I'm dreaming).

Additionally, regarding rewards, I'm really grateful.

But just subscriptions will do, no need for rewards.

I'm afraid I can't repay it.

By the way, thank you to some ordinary folks like VAP for rewarding me with three thousand coins, and also many thanks to other readers who rewarded me.

It's also my first time receiving twenty monthly tickets, seventeen monthly tickets, thirteen monthly tickets, and I'm shocked.

Brothers, where did you get so many monthly tickets?

Spoke too much.

Thanks again to all my supporting friends! Whether you're quietly following along, popping up in the comment section or book reviews, or voting in support, I see every bit of support and keep it in my heart.

I hope we can continue to be together after the launch, and I also hope this book can go further.

A little later, I'll release today's update.

Thank you all for your companionship along the way; see you in the book!
