Chapter 67: Villain got his wish

"Why do I have to kill myself?" Luna asked as she picked up her sword, confusion and then anger mixing in her voice as she shouted, "For whom do I have to die myself for?!" She tightly grips her sword and slowly steps forward to Wisteria. "I will do it."

"What?!" Lucian tilted his head to the side.

Wisteria gave out an evil laugh, pleased with Luna's reply. She came closer to Luna and stroked her cheeks. "You can take as much time as you need; I won't rush you."

Luna nodded, raising her blade.

'She's still not in her right mind.' Lucian wanted to take Luna's sword away from her hand but stopped when he saw her direct her blade to Wisteria.

"Die, you fucking bitch." Luna pierced her sword deeper into Wisteria's chest. "I hate you!" She screamed and twisted the blade in her body.

"Chief!" The crowd screamed, but Wisteria raised a hand to stop them. She spit out the blood in her mouth and grabbed Luna's hand when Luna wanted to create a distance between them.

"Watch out!" Lucian shouted. Quickly he subtly activated his beast magic; when he saw Wisteria's hand form a fiery claw, he let his magic flow to his leg and jumped up, kicking Wisteria in the face before she could use her claw on Luna.

Wisteria's body hit the ground, a sword still buried deep in her chest. She pulled out the sword with ease, her wound quickly closed up, and she smirked at Lucian. "You haven't been using that special ability of yours lately. I thought that you had forgotten about it, but I guess not."

"Did you see that?" A guy in the Flint team asks, watching the arena. Impressed with Lucian's strength, not knowing that he had used magic.

Tara's depressed gaze barely glanced at the arena; she kept her vengeful eyes on Draven, who was still badly wounded from the beating he got from Lucian.

"Stay here with the others." A guard pushes Reed.

Reed had purposely let himself be seen around the arena so that a guard could get to him before Yamin caught him.

"Your ability isn't going to stop me from killing who I want, Lucian." Wisteria smirks. She stretched her hand towards the frozen humans that had been arranged together to face the arena so that Lucian could get a proper look at who was going to die because of him.

One of the frozen humans breaks at Wisteria's command, making her laugh hysterically at the blood flowing in the midst of the shattered flesh and bones.

Lucian's heart skipped in fear as he saw the next person in line for Wisteria to kill, Soren.

"Wait!" Lucian shouted as Wisteria lifted her hand again.

Wisteria smirks and drops her hand. "Yes?" She asked, expecting Lucian to beg her to accept him as her son.

In a loud voice, Lucian shouted, "Let's play!"

Silence filled the confused crowd.

"I said, let's play!" Lucian shouted again with all his strength, trying his best to call the dungeon king. "I'm going to play with you!" His cheek burned out in embarrassment as he realized how silly he looked in front of everyone, but this was his only chance of survival, so he wasn't going to stop. "Didn't you say that you wanted to see me again?! Here I am!"

"Stop it; you are going to make our ears bleed out." Wisteria glared at Lucian.

Lucian pointed at Flint, who was frozen. "Are you really going to let this annoying bastard die without another game?!" He asked, "Do you know how much he brags about you not winning a single game against him? If you come out now, I'm going to make it worth your time; it will be entertaining for you!"

'Is he trying to call out to that demon?' Wisteria thought in fear.

"Shut up!" Wisteria lifted her hand, ready to make Lucian shut up by force, but stopped when she sighted the figure of a man. A young man sitting in her throne-like seat. She froze up in fear as she muttered, "It's him." Her voice caught Lucian's attention; he followed her gaze.

"I said that we will see again; I didn't say that I wanted to see you." A lazy voice filled the arena. "What's with the expression?" The dungeon king, Darion, asked, "Are you disappointed because I'm not a kid?"

The strong dark demonic aura flowing from Darion kept every beast in place; no one moved towards him. For the first time since their days as humans, they were all afraid.

Darion placed both hands in his pocket and easily dropped down into the arena.

'the dungeon king.' Reed thought as he gulped down in fear. 'That damned villain got his wish.'

"A piece of my soul is scattered in every dungeon. If you knew that," he turned towards Flint and let out a single breath that scattered Wisteria spells, setting Flint and every other frozen human free. "I'm guessing he told you." Darion didn't care about the lives of humans, but he wanted a rematch against Flint. "The state of my strength, including my physical form, depends on the rank of the dungeon. I'm not a kid in this dungeon, villain; you can't pull me out with childish words."

'From his demonic aura, I can tell that this version of him is stronger than the child I met in the last dungeon.' Lucian thought. Wondering how strong Darion was.

"If you are here, I'm sure that something I said grabbed your attention." Lucian still felt embarrassed about the words he uttered. Thinking about how his embarrassment was witnessed by so many made him angry.

"Two things actually." Darion let out another breath to make Flint and other players recover from the shivering cold they were feeling. If he did nothing, they were still going to die. He couldn't let Flint die until he had a rematch.

The magic Wisteria had used in freezing humans kept them alive, regardless of the cold they felt inside the ice they were stuck in. Wisteria wanted the pleasure of watching them die before her eyes.

"You said that you had a way to entertain me?" Darion asked curiously. For so long, this version of him has been bored.

Wisteria tried to move but stopped when Darion turned to her and smiled, "You and your peers are ridiculous cursed beasts who act as though you are humans. It was entertaining at first, watching your silly lifestyle and the way you all think you are so powerful." He snickers, "The only reason I let you control the dungeon was because I pity your kind, knowing how you all became cursed beasts. But now, I'm bored with your display of human activities; I would love to see what Lucian has for me."
