Obscure Op: Survive As Fallen Noble With Gunsmith Skill In Eroge World

Chapter 58 - My Status

My gaze fell on the screen of the smartphone from my old world.

The smartphone looked brand new and had survived from the war I had endured.

My eyelids fluttered, trying to determine if the current situation was real or just a dream.

How could I not believe this was a dream when the smartphone screen displayed the status of the character I was possessing?

===================

With these stats, I'm definitely a bad NPC character in the eyes of players. Even though I have a lot maxed-out common skill, I have no idea what its effects are other than those related to the skills I honed as a mercenary on Earth.

Is it possible that skills from Earth have carried over to this new body?

The more I think about this, the more things I have to think about.

My body was suddenly shaken by Sirius words, who had apparently been calling me. After apologizing to Sirius, who had been ignoring by me, I returned to my smartphone screen and carefully reviewed my stats.

Besides the physical ATK and DEF boosts, Hans's actual stats seemed pretty trashy. He was level six with most of his stats at zero. Luckily, this character wasn't on the NPC recommendation page, as he would have been the target of bullying if he had been a character who could change the course of the story.

Despite all the weaknesses of his zero stats, I could see quite high physical ATK and physical DEF. The numbers in brackets represented buffs derived from the weapons I was currently using.

Who would have thought that firearms like the HK-416 and Glock 17 would have such a significant impact on attack buffs like this?

Ah, that's right, I almost forgot about the GECAL 50 mounted on the Humvee.

With the addition of that one weapon of mass destruction, a lethal attack of one hundred and fifty-five thousand buff would become overpowered. This character does have overpowered items with trashy main stats, though.

Should I be grateful after being reincarnated as this fallen noble?

"Master, are you still thinking about other things?"

"This is the second time I've been ignored like this!" Sirius said in an annoyed tone, her main weapon body vibrating to get my attention.

My gaze was still fixed on my smartphone like someone engrossed in scrolling through social media.

"Oh, sorry, I was just thinking about my body recovering from poisoning," I replied, turning off my smartphone and paying attention to Sirius, who wanted to talk to me.

"At least don't ignore me! I was just born from your ability and need more attention!" Sirius shouted.

"Don't be spoiled, new gun..." Hoshino chimed in beside Sirius.

The sight of two guns clashing made me laugh, perhaps this is how a Commander feels in a game that personifies guns as women.

"Hahaha... It's been a long time since I laughed this hard. The last time I laughed so hard, when I was running under a hail of heavy artillery shells," I said jokingly.

"..."

"..."

A momentary silence fell. Whether my humor was corny or too dark, it silenced the two weapon spirits in front of me for a moment.

"Um, forgive us for always making such a fuss," Hoshino said politely.

"Please forgive my childishness, Master. I'm just overjoyed after descending to this world and meeting a great Master," Sirius said respectfully to me.

This sudden gesture of respect seemed forced, as if the two weapon spirits knew that running under the blasts of heavy artillery shells was a bad idea.

I didn't want to dwell on this and continued laughing until I was satisfied.

In the tent, which was starting to feel stuffy and hot, I stopped loading 9mm rounds into the pistol magazine. After this, I needed to do the same with the HK-416 magazine.

Soon, my days would be filled with grinding, loading rounds into the magazine.

If only my stepfamily and Melissa would do this, I wouldn't be having this much trouble.

They do reload... sometimes, but that's because they're going to use it for shooting practice on the rocky hilltop.

Swoosh...

Swoosh...

"Well, I don't mind it, just be careful not to talk around other people. Swords with weapon spirits are a target for robbers, so you girls have to be careful," I continued, cracking a joke that lightened the awkward atmosphere.

"Don't worry, Master. If that happens, I'll kill the robber with my own hands!" Hoshino shouted.

"I'll do the same! The only people allowed to touch me are my Master and those my Master trusts!" Sirius replied with a loud shout.

The loyalty of the weapon spirit is indeed high, and I hadn't expected it to be this high.

"I'm glad to hear that..." I replied softly, tidying up some magazines to put them in a plastic box.

On a hot day like this, Melissa and my stepfamily would usually take a break inside the refugee camp. Before any problem happen, I needed to hide the Humvee parked in front of the tent so as not to attract their attention or that of the people around here.

Tap...

Tap...

After tidying up some plastic boxes beside the bed, carrying the HK-416 on a sling, and walking to the refugee tent exit, it seemed what I'd feared was happening.

Several royal knights on patrol seemed interested in the Humvee parked in front of my stepfamily tent, and seeing Melissa's who had just returned from shooting practice.

For some reason, I could see Melissa squatting on the hood of the Humvee and trying to stab the windshield with her throwing knives.

"What are you doing?" I asked Melissa, who were curious about the Humvee.

Ctaakk!!

Whether out of surprise or curiosity, Melissa tried to stab the bulletproof windshield with her throwing knives. Of course, it meant nothing to an object with fifteen thousand resistance status.

"M-Master Hans?!" As if caught off guard, Melissa quickly got off the Humvee and hid her throwing knives.

"T-That's embarrassing... please erase my disrespectful behavior as a maid from Master Hans's memory," Melissa pleaded, blushing after her dishonorable act.

Blush...

"Good afternoon, Hans. Sorry if this makes us seem curious and suspicious. Is this strange object yours?" asked a royal knight whose name I didn't know.

As a fallen noble, I had a good reputation among the royal knights and some refugees after working as a Doctor Portia... Assistant.

Well, it wat not bad for a part-time job with big influence like this.

"Yes, it is mine. What's wrong?" I replied, while hiding the HK-416 behind my back.

"It's not dangerous, is it?" he asked further, as if to confirm his answer.

"Of course it's dangerous... if it hits someone," I replied curtly.

"H-Hits someone?" With that one questioning remark, I could see the amused expressions on all the pairs of eyes interested in this Humvee.

"Well, it'll be clearer if I show you how it works. Want to try climbing into this vehicle?"

"V-Vehicle?"

A variety of amusing facial expressions appeared, and it made me smile sarcastically to show off.

Tap...

Tap...

My foot reached for the Humvee's driver's side door and pulled it open.

The moment the driver's side door opened, it caused most of the curious royal knights to tilt their heads. Without inserting the key and turning on the ignition switch, the modified Humvee started.

Brrruummm!!

Burrruunnn!!

The loud, screeching sound of the engine startled several people, including Melissa, who shouldn't have been easily startled.

"H-Hans? This vehicle not dangerous, is it?" After the roar of the engine revved up and quieted down after warming up, one of the curious royal knights immediately climbed onto the roof of the Humvee.

"Is this how it works?" he asked further.

What is this?

Did I just see a curious fool climb onto the roof of a vehicle?

Well, this kind of vehicle doesn't exist in this world. So I will ignore this rudeness.

As far I know, a knights usually climb onto the roofs of horse-drawn carriages to scout, though...

However, I felt infuriated by this natural stupidity.

I immediately opened the back side door and invited my curious stepfamily to come aboard.

"Liliana... Vivian... Please get in the back, and Melissa, can you open the side door?"

After opening the Humvee's door a second time, Melissa should have understood how the door's locking lever worked.

Kraaakk...

Without needing my help, Melissa quickly moved to the driver's side door and opened it.

I got into the Humvee and slammed the door.

Braakk...

Braakk...

Melissa did the same, and the Humvee's door locked from the driver's side. Several royal knights were already standing by on the roof of the Humvee, and my hand pulling out small microphones to speak into the loudspeaker mounted on the roof.

"Please don't touch anything on the roof. If there a slightest damage... I'll hunt you down," I said in a threatening tone.

The threat was uttered, causing all the royal knights on the Humvee's roof to immediately dismount, their faces filled with fear. Inside the Humvee, I quickly placed the HK-416 next to the driver's seat.

"Master Hans, is that another new weapon?" As I placed the HK-416 next to the driver's seat, Melissa asked with a curious look in her eyes.

"Yes," I replied curtly, and immediately pressed my foot on the accelerator to drive around the refugee tent site.

Brrruumm!!

The silent roar of the engine now shrieked, breaking the silence. The heavy Humvee slowly made its way past the crowded refugee camps that had been bustling during the day.

Because of its heavy weight, I could feel the ground shaking as the Humvee passed through the refugee tents.

"Hmm... Not too bad, still easy to control and has light acceleration," I muttered as I tested the Humvee that had been a gift from the Goddess of War.

[ Do you like my gift, Hans? ]

[ All damage, ammunition, and diesel fuel can be fixed using magic. ]

[ You'll definitely like this gift, right? ]

The Goddess of War suddenly spoke in my head, making me smile with satisfaction at her gift.

"Yes,I like this gift, Amelia," I replied with a small murmur.

"Thanks..."
