The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 183: 182 Zhou Tianyu Light Disc

Shi Feiyang dismissed Jin Xunu and invited Xiankong Ancestor into the hall, where attendants presented the finest tea and fruits to please the guest.

Xiankong Ancestor never expected that the Demon Dragon, who Ye Bin had described as wicked and ferocious, would turn out like this. He increasingly felt that the Heavenly Immortal was right; Ye Bin, falsely claiming to be a Righteous Sect Sword Immortal, resorted to rumors and lies out of personal vendetta, trying to rally others against the Dragon Emperor. Luckily, guided by a Heavenly Immortal, Xiankong Ancestor hadn't made a huge mistake by provoking such a formidable opponent.

As the two exchanged insights on the Immortal Laws and cultivation, Xiankong Ancestor was astonished to find that Shi Feiyang was extremely familiar with his Cultivation Method. To say he knew it like the back of his hand might be an understatement. He understood the whole process of Xiankong Ancestor's practice, down to every detail, and even pinpointed several critical junctures, leaving Xiankong Ancestor sweating with alarm.

Indeed, the Dragon Emperor was a figure who even Heavenly Immortals gave way to!

After chatting for half a day, Xiankong Ancestor was thoroughly convinced, and Shi Feiyang brought the conversation to a close, mentioning his hour had come and he needed to work on refining a Magical Treasure, inviting him to roam as he pleased.

Xiankong Ancestor presented his gifts—two stalks of Rejuvenation Grass aged a myriad of years.

Such Rejuvenation Grass, only to be found in Xiankong Ancestor's possession within the entire Shushan World, was a non-renewable resource. Its quantity diminished after Zheng Yuan Gui's betrayal and theft of many Spiritual Medicines during his escape, leaving Xiankong Ancestor with not much remaining. Bringing out two stalks as gifts represented significant sincerity.

Shi Feiyang called for Mo Zhui to take the two stalks to Tianpeng Valley and plant them.

Being an expert in Alchemy, Xiankong Ancestor had a deep understanding of various herbs. At a glance, he recognized that what he saw was Queen Mother Grass which had achieved Dao. It was a rare herb capable of reviving the dead. By contrast, his world-renowned Rejuvenation Grass paled significantly.

Xiankong Ancestor then spent several days touring the brilliant five prefectures and the Western Continent. Observing the various demons coexist in happiness and peace, a sharp contrast to the bleak miasma during the time of the Cold Centipede, he began to comprehend what the Heavenly Immortal meant by the Dragon Emperor cultivating the Three Emperors Dao. With a sense of enlightenment, he left Outer Heaven Divine Mountain and returned to Wuding Island.

Knowing the Dragon Emperor wouldn't attack him, Xiankong Ancestor felt much relieved and intended to foster good relations between them, sending Ling Weisou with gifts frequently to visit.

Ling Weisou was one who loved to travel everywhere. Having visited almost every place in both Central Earth and beyond, his curiosity was insatiable. With his master's permission, he too visited Outer Heaven Divine Mountain, immediately falling in love with the place. He traveled from the Western Continent to the East Sea and later encountered Jin Xunu.

Ling Weisou had also once visited Purple Cloud Palace, staying for several days. He knew Jin Xunu from back then. To his surprise, the previously subservient Jin Xunu had now become an Imperial Sky Official, commanding respect with Daoist power and an aura that had drastically changed from his past self.

Jin Xunu was delighted to see him, treating him as a dear old friend.

Meanwhile, Shi Feiyang continued refining treasures in Tianxin Palace. As Long Meng and the others delivered the required Essence Energy, he refined and purified it, included it into the Array, and repeatedly refined it in the furnace before finally filling the Formation Plate's three needle-shaped Divine Shuttles.

These three needle shovels were less than an inch long, yet aimed to contain more Void Evil Fire than the original Secret Demon Divine Shuttle, which was about a foot long.

First, he laid out the Circulation God Talisman. With 360 Circulation God Talismans, inherently representing the Twenty-Eight Constellations, comprised of many nodes and lines, he installed a Secret Demon Magic Formation in each dot and line.

This combination of the Yellow Emperor's Celestial Talisman with various Secret Demon Scriptures had 182 main stars within the Twenty-Eight Constellations, with each main star equipped with a Secret Demon Magic Formation. The original Divine Shuttle housed 24 Arrays known collectively as a Heavenly Formation. Shi Feiyang disassembled and reassembled these at will—some merged two Arrays into one Heavenly Formation, others four Arrays, even twenty-three Arrays, then compressed all into a single needle shuttle.

After setting the Arrays, he added various Essence Energies, each with different properties, and their intricate interactions required a complex order of filling. Shi Feiyang spent over two hundred days completing a single Divine Shuttle, and its explosive energy equated to roughly seven and a half original Secret Demon Divine Shuttles.

After filling all three needles, he performed Sacrificial Refinement using techniques from both the Daoist and Demon paths.

Watching from within the Demon Scripture, the Demon God was perplexed, "What exactly are you doing? What Magical Treasure are you refining? Are you making the Secret Demon Divine Shuttle?"

Initially, he had imprisoned the Primordial Spirits of Uu Ling Zhu, and while refining those three Secret Demon Divine Shuttles, he maintained control over the critical junctures and kept the highest authority over the Divine Shuttles in his hands. Without his consent, Uu Ling Zhu couldn't detonate them; and if he wished, she couldn't stop them.

But he could not contain Shi Feiyang's Primordial Spirit, who took apart those three unfinished Divine Shuttles, separated their various Essence Energies for different assembly, and finally left him with three empty shells to play with.

Shi Feiyang ignored him and after a lot of effort in refining the three needle shuttles, he installed them on the Formation Plate's columns, connected to the Yin Yang Qi core of the inner ninety-six Cosmic Spirit Shuttles, merging their Essence Energy into one. He then placed the entire Crystal Jade Plate into the Eight Diagrams Furnace for Sacrificial Refinement.

This process took several hundred more days to fully complete.

The Zhou Tianyu Light Disc, the new name he had given to this magical treasure.

Originally, on the Winter Solstice, he had used the Meridian Divine Light to pass through the aurora fire to reach the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain and had contemplated creating a magical treasure that could freely traverse the Aurora Fire.

The Emei Sect possessed a Meridian Universe Light Disc, which could specifically suppress the Aurora Fire, and his Zhou Tianyu Light Disc also had this effect. With this treasure, he could leave whenever he wished in the future; the Mixed Essence Spirit Qi, Aurora Fire, and the external Yuan Magnetic Miasma would no longer be barriers to him!

Calculating the time, it was also the moment for him to leave.

Some heavenly materials and earthly treasures, he had to obtain them himself. If he did not, and they eventually fell into the hands of the Emei Sect, they would be used against him.

For instance, the Five Clouds Separation and Union Jade from the treasure vault of Moon Island in the East Sea.

This Jade was also an Ancient Treasure from the era of the Three Emperors and Five Kings, specifically able to subdue various demon beasts and had the effect of suppressing demons. It was divided into Yin and Yang pairs; the Yang Jade was placed by Guang Chengzi in the Golden Ship, sealed in a stone chest on Kongtong Mountain. Later, the Green-Haired True Master Liu Laogen summoned a group of immortals to collectively cast spells to break the prohibition. When the Golden Ship emerged, it emitted divine light and the fragrance of Dan filled the air, attracting a mass of otherworldly creatures. The group of immortals worked together to drive away the demon creatures, and the Golden Ship broke through the void and landed in the eye of the Yuan River.

The other piece, the Yin Jade, fell into the hands of the Yellow Emperor, who sealed it with the Three Heavenly Books in a Jade Box and hid it in the first layer. Later, an Earth Immortal from a minor sect obtained the Heavenly Books, only opening the first layer and taking the Yin Jade into his possession. He used it to trade a favor with Master Lianshan, who helped him avoid the Three Calamities and transcend an ordeal.

As the Earth Immortal approached his end, he entrusted his entire life's knowledge, recorded in a Vice Volume and sealed in a box, inside the Dinghu Peak of Immortal City in Zhejiang. Later, Shi Feiyang opened it and began to cultivate it.

Now he had clearly discerned that the Yin Talisman of the Five Clouds Jade had been refinined by Master Lianshan with Immortal Law, possessing many wonderful uses, with the function of Demon Refinement being particularly prominent.

Master Lianshan was originally from the orthodox Mysterious Sect, had made a grand vow, and specialized in minor pathways. He cultivated many minor Cultivation Methods, even those of the Demon Cult.

Those in the minor pathways all have flaws in their nature. Even if given the True Skill of the Mysterious Sect, they would still cultivate into the left-handed minor paths. The deeper their mana, the harder their tribulations, and in the end, they would all bring about their own destruction.

When Master Lianshan entered the minor path, he deeply understood how to cultivate on this path and knew that those on it feared demon disturbances the most. The four treasures he refined for suppressing the mountains were all for subjugating demons. The most prominent was the Yin part of the Five Clouds Separation and Union Jade, followed by the Taiyin Qingning Fan in the hands of Jin Xunu, the third was the Child Mother Dragon Sparrow Ring in the possession of Xiong Man, of course, she only had half, the other half was in the hands of the two elders of Song Mountain. The fourth was the Xuan Guang Ruler bestowed to Lin Han, all of them treasures for Demon Refinement.

This Yin Talisman, Shi Feiyang must get his hands on. It indeed held a great fate for him.

He then chose a propitious day according to the Yellow Path and went to the Taiming Palace in the Western Continent. He summoned all the officials in charge, over eighty in total, and told them that he would be leaving for a while.

This time, when returning to Central Earth, he wanted to take Lin Han and Xiong Man.

The six disciples each had their own tribulations. One cannot avoid them forever; when it becomes unavoidable and all six tribulations emerge at once, even he wouldn't be able to handle it. He was not a Saint who could account for every contingency. With the simultaneous eruption of multiple people's tribulations, a multitude of cause-and-effect lines entangling with each other, a single oversight could lead to a complete loss. The best method was to actively trigger them one by one and gradually transcend each tribulation in batches.

He had Deng Bagu temporarily replace Lin Han as the Water Official, ensuring they exchanged roles clearly, and he planned out the main affairs of the court, assigning tasks to each department. He instructed them on how much Essence Energy to collect each year, and for clans like the Merfolk and Clam Clan, he set goals for population growth to evaluate upon his return.

After all arrangements were made, he took the two disciples and traveled north from Jinting Pass to the boundary of the prohibition circle at the edge of the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain.

Shi Feiyang took out the Zhou Tianyu Light Disc, held it in his left hand, and began casting with a hand gesture on the right. The disc was divided into five layers. Besides the Heavenly, Human, and Earth Plates that represented the Three Talents, there were also the Star and Divine Plates. Once activated, all five plates turned simultaneously, with various symbols flashing on and off all over.

Suddenly the plates rotated to a critical juncture, and all came to a stop. The shortest of the three needle shuttles inside the disc turned towards the front, and from the tip of the needle, a gray misty thread shot out, striking straight ahead into the Mixed Essence Spirit Qi that enveloped the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain, instantly melting a large hole with a diameter of hundreds of yards.

Shi Feiyang, together with Lin Han and Xiong Man, immediately flew out through it, and in a moment, they reached a place more than a hundred miles away. Looking back, the Mixed Essence Spirit Qi had already restored itself.

Ahead was the Aurora Fire. Shi Feiyang adjusted the second longest needle shuttle in the disc, releasing a very thin ray of colorful Meridian Divine Light that struck the Aurora Fire, creating a favorable change. Two oval holes appeared on the Aurora, and Shi Feiyang led his disciples through the hole on the left.

The third barrier was the Magnetic Mist. Shi Feiyang still used the Meridian Divine Light to charge ahead. When Ye Bin had attacked, the Meridian Divine Light had been cut in half. Afterwards, Shi Feiyang had taken it for study, analyzing the principle behind it, and incorporating this method into the crafting of this disc.

The Meridian Divine Light specialized in breaking through magnetic energy and auroras, shooting forward, causing the surrounding Magnetic Mist to react and automatically form a perfectly round tunnel where the Divine Light extended.

Holding the treasure disc, Shi Feiyang and his disciples flew forwards at high speed, quickly passing through the "Magnetic Mist Tunnel" of more than a hundred miles and reaching the exterior, now within the domain of the South Sea. Once again seeing the blue sky and white clouds, the waves turning on the emerald sea, Shi Feiyang breathed in the salty sea breeze, feeling as if he had returned to the Human World anew.
