The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 225: 223 Purple and Blue Duoluo Divine Flames

Although the Divine Demon's power was strong and capable of thousands of transformations, its main methods of attack focused on the human heart, especially this Northern Divine Demon, who specialized in exploiting the Five Yin Flames' intensity. However, three female immortals from the Mysterious Sect excelled in matters of the heart, rendering many of the demon's tactics ineffective against them.

After Shi Feiyang unleashed the Twelve Points of Immortal Fire, the demon, like the previous one, was burnt limp to the ground, nearly melting into ashes, and with no other choice, surrendered and was captured by Shi Feiyang inside a gourd.

With the principal Guardian Divine Demon taken away by Shi Feiyang, Zhang Jinwen and the others continuously cast Divine Thunders to break the formation, leaving the Barbarian Monks with limited mana. Shi Feiyang did not linger and instead turned toward the West.

In the west, Jiang Shu was in charge of breaking the formation, assisted by Zhu Changyuan and Wu Qingyang.

Jiang Shu, an old-generation Sword Immortal from the Qingcheng Sect, had not yet fully grown or recovered in this life, but his inherent nature remained. The demon realm in this direction was called the Demon Light Illuminates the Boundless World. Unlike the demons from the east and north that focused on attacking the psyche, this place was filled with red light and bloody waters in all directions, with Blood Rain above and a Blood Sea below, and the demon launched an all-out offensive.

Jiang Shu released a succession of Taiyin Divine Thunders, and Wu Qingyang used the Five Thunder Heavenly Heart True Method—both fierce Daoist methods specialized in breaking demons. Each thunderclap shook the heavens and earth, scattering the demon light and churning the blood sea.

Yet the most formidable was Zhu Changyuan.

Zhu Changyuan was Geng Peng in his past life, and although he had not regained his memories, his wisdom remained intact. Having been trained on the lap of Zhu Zaiyu since childhood and comprehending the Heavenly Dao, his character and rapid growth in mana went without saying.

He hovered above the Blood Sea, sprouting two enormous wings spanning dozens of yards from his back—none other than the Celestial Dragon Sword given to him by Shi Feiyang. A mere flicker of the wings released 360 beams of dark light that seemed inconspicuous, yet, like a fierce storm, they shot out and exploded into thousands of clusters of Thunder Fire upon the slightest contact with the demon light and demon fire.

The Demon, churning up a sky full of Blood Rain, also summoned blood arrows from within it to counter and contaminate; however, the Celestial Dragon Sword remained untainted by evil. Together with two Pure Yang Immortal Swords left by Lv Zu, it surged forward, tore through the waves, pierced the Blood Sea, locked onto the Demon, and attacked relentlessly.

The Divine Demon kept soaring and changing shape, now hidden within the Demon Cloud, now within the depths of the Blood Sea. Each time, Zhu Changyuan managed to deduce where it was hiding; with a wave of his hand, his Pure Yang Immortal Sword and Celestial Dragon Sword joined Jiang Shu and Wu Qingyang's thunderous sword attacks, pummelling down fiercely, forcing the Divine Demon to roar in anger but remain helpless against the onslaught.

Zhu Changyuan also calculated the crux to breaking the formation, employing the two Demon Refining Flying Swords, enlightened by Lv Zu's Returning Pill technique, thrusting them directly into the formation's eyes. Several times, they nearly broke the demon formation outright!

When Shi Feiyang arrived, the two sides were still entangled; from within the Blood Sea, the Divine Demon conjured thousands of Blood Flame Divine Thunders to clash with the three of them. Shi Feiyang turned invisible to launch a sneak attack, and with a flick of his finger, released the Twelve Points of Immortal Fire, subduing the demon.

"Great-uncle!" Zhu Changyuan shook his wings and flew over to greet him first.

Looking at Shi Feiyang, his eyes were filled with admiration. Having practiced the Immortal Path since childhood, today was his first time dueling. Naturally, the Two Demon Refining Flying Swords from his grandfather were extraordinary, but the two wings given by Shi Feiyang were even more formidable, majestic and domineering. Once deployed, they attached to the body as if they were innate appendages, infinitely useful whether for short or long-distance flying or overcoming the enemy.

Shi Feiyang captured this Divine Demon into the gourd as well and praised Zhu Changyuan extensively. The boy was calm, composed, and capable of flexible tactics. Shi Feiyang knew Zhu Changyuan would do well, but he didn't expect him to perform this outstandingly, becoming the main force of their group.

Having captured the Divine Demon and broken the formation, Shi Feiyang left the rest to the three of them and turned southward.

To the south was the Demon Fire Purgatory World, with each of the four Divine Demons having its specialties. In terms of unpredictable changes and rousing the hearts of people, the Northern Divine Demon was the most formidable; for sheer mana strength, the Southern Divine Demons were unmatched.

Shi Feiyang knew this, so he arranged for Deng Bagu, Xiong Man, and Liu Quan to break the formation, whose collective mana was the strongest on this route.

Both parties adopted a strategy of brute strength, with the Southern Divine Demon inflating its body to over thirty yards big, its head touching the heavens, feet on the earth, six heads growing on its torso, and twenty-eight arms wielding Demon Fire and Demon Thunder. Without creating any illusion, it relied on immense firepower to blast its enemies into dust.

Deng Bagu employed the Snow Soul Pearl, released nine Ice Soul Divine Light Swords, and used the Earth Penetrating Divine Needle; Xiong Man the Dragon Sparrow Ring; and Liu Quan the Golden Mandala Divine Scissors and Divine Thunder Gold Light Hammer—all out firepower as well.

When Shi Feiyang arrived, the Demon still had the upper hand against all three!

As he flew in, the Demon with its six heads capable of omnidirectional awareness spotted him despite his invisibility. With a roar, one head flew directly towards him, enlarging to the size of a mountain range, and opened its mouth wide, as if to swallow the sky, with a voracious inhale.

Shi Feiyang did not resist in the slightest, allowing himself to be sucked into the gut of the demon before releasing the Twelve Points of Star Fire in every direction from within.

Soon enough, the gargantuan Divine Demon deflated like a punctured ball, its body shrinking rapidly; its six heads and twenty-eight arms tore and scratched its body, ripping its torso in half to extract Shi Feiyang, who then loosed the Three Yangs One Qi Sword to shred the demon apart.

The Demon couldn't flee; its demon light gathered on the spot, incarnating anew, but it could no longer transform.

Deng Bagu and the other two rushed over, "Master!"

Liu Quan's eyes were wide with amazement; the Divine Demon they had fought with all their might for so long without success had been subdued by Master Shi in just a few moves, which was utterly inconceivable to him.

Yet, he did not know that the Twelve Points of Immortal Fire used by Shi Feiyang were specifically prepared for One Light Master and his four Divine Demon Incarnations at Haideng Temple after a great deal of effort and Cultivation.

"Now that all four Divine Demons have been captured by me, you handle the remaining Evil Demons. I have deduced that there are tunnels within these four Demon Palaces leading to the Old Demon's shrine. You enter through the tunnels of the four palaces. If you encounter Demon Monks, kill them all. If you find living humans captured by the Old Demon, rescue them. I will still make my way from the mountaintop, and we will meet at the end in the Divine Lamp Demon Palace."

After giving these instructions, Shi Feiyang returned to the mountaintop. The scene was that of a place scorched by a Big Fire. The once magnificent palaces had all collapsed. Metals had melted into fluids and re-solidified into clumps. The soil had been baked into a glassy state, showing various colors, crystal clear, with everything else burned to black ash.

The Four Women of Wudang were waiting there. They returned the Nine Heavens Yuan Yang Ruler, saying Huo Wuhai had already stormed inside.

Shi Feiyang instructed them to search for their eldest senior sister, Zhang Jinwen, below the north slope and to enter the mountain's belly with her through the northern tunnel. The Four Women took the order and flew away. Shi Feiyang then found the entrance to the Underground Palace and flew down holding the treasure ruler.

Huo Wuhai was indeed fierce. In fact, according to the sequence of Cultivation, Huo Wuhai had also already formed his Lifebound Embryo. After receiving the Spiritual Medicine from Shi Feiyang and reshaping his body, he had reached the early stage of Nascent Soul formation and was not inferior to Shi Feiyang. His Innate talent allowed him to refine the True Sun Fire, which was pure and powerful, making him a match for even an Earth Immortal.

This Fire Essence didn't care for the consequences; he just used the True Sun Fire to blaze through everything, reducing any obstructing enemies to ash.

The Daoli Heavenly Palace was filled with direct disciples of One Light Master, though they could not compare to Chuandeng Monk. Most of them were of the caliber of Feng Wu and Bi Xi, far stronger than the ones scattered around the mountainside. They released Demon Fires to counter Huo Wuhai's fire, but in the end, he refined both people and treasures completely.

Shi Feiyang felt no joy at all. With Huo Wuhai charging down recklessly, the other Demon Monks were fine, but how could Old Demon Yideng be someone he could handle! The faster he rushed, the earlier he encountered Old Demon Yideng, the more dangerous it would be. If this went on for too long, Shi Feiyang feared he would be too late to save him!

He moved downward at the fastest speed and finally arrived in a palace shining with gold.

This palace looked as if it was entirely cast from a great amount of gold, with dazzling Golden Radiance everywhere. The ceiling and walls were embedded with all kinds of gemstones.

There were also numerous lamps here, all extinguished, except for a three-layer Dharma Platform at the center with a lit Seven Treasures Golden Lamp.

The Seven Treasures Golden Lamp burned quietly, giving off a sense of serene tranquility. Just one glance and the whole world would seem like an illusion, as if only this lamp was the sole refuge.

Shi Feiyang was extremely cautious and didn't touch the lamp. He knew that this lamp was the most powerful Demon Lamp of One Light Master. The Demon Fire burning on it could easily stir one's mind. With a moment of carelessness, his Primordial Spirit could be hooked away, and once it fell into the lamp, it would be completely stranded and at its mercy.

Shi Feiyang steadied his mind, retreated a few steps, and then shot out six points of Immortal Fire from both hands, each targeting a Golden Lamp.

As the fire landed on the extinguished lamps, they lit up immediately.

The flames on the left were azure, and on the right, they were purple. A total of twelve flames ignited, and the surrounding space began to shatter like a glacier exploding, turning into a mere bubble image.

The scenery changed suddenly; originally, there were twelve Golden Lamps on each side with a Divine Demon residing in every lampwick. If Shi Feiyang attempted to break the central Seven Treasures Demon Lamp, these twelve lamps would ignite suddenly, and the Demons inside would attack Shi Feiyang in coordination with the Seven Treasures Demon Lamp, trapping him in the formation.

Shi Feiyang didn't fall for the trap. Instead, he used Immortal Fire to ignite them in advance.

Initially, at the Golden Stone Gorge Shaqing Immortal Mansion, he acquired four Magical Treasures. The Heavenly Heart Ring's Yang Ring was given to Shi Sheng, and the Three Talents Clearing Circle to Mo Zhui's three juniors, leaving him with a Mystics Yin Slip and three Pellets of Purple and Blue Duoluo Divine Flames.

The Purple and Blue Duoluo Fire was originally formed by the lamp blossoms of the Divine Lamp from the Purple and Blue Jade Mansion of the Taixu Palace in the Upper Realm, brought down to the Mortal World by several exiled Heavenly Immortals to use against Evil and protect themselves. There were a total of seven, three larger ones, obtained by Ai Zhenzi and hidden within the Shaqing Immortal Mansion, and acquired by Shi Feiyang.

This Spirit Flame from the Purple Void Immortal Mansion's Divine Lamp, which already possessed Spirituality, was specifically designed to counter all Evil Demons!

Shi Feiyang infused his Essence, Qi, and Spirit into it and had been Cultivating it for many years as a foundation to solidify the Three Flowers above his head. He rarely took it out to show to others.

The last time he fought Chuandeng Monk, he did not use this treasure, for fear One Light Master would notice and take precautions. Now he had divided them into twelve points of Immortal Fire, corresponding to the twelve celestial branches, to deal with the Demons. He had subdued One Light Master's four Divine Demon Incarnations easily.

This time, he used this Divine Fire to light the Demon Lamp. As soon as the Purple and Blue Divine Flames burned, the Demon Fire could not ignite, and the Demons inside could not transform and were trapped in the lampwick, burning fiercely. They roared and struggled in the flames, and within moments, all turned into wisps of blue smoke, completely refined!
