The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 442: 364 All Wishes Make a Nation_2

Cao Yunfei opened his eyes and saw his mother, whom he had not seen for many years since she divorced his father, standing beside the bed, staring fixedly at him.

Upon seeing him awake, his mother quickly approached and grabbed his arm tightly, demanding sharply, "Where did you learn the Nine Heavens Mysterious Scripture from? Who taught you the Taiyin Divine Thunder! Speak!"

Cao Yunfei was terrified by his mother's aggressive stance, and intense pain shot through his wrist as if she was about to snap it. His nose tingled, and tears began to flow.

His father rushed over to stop her, pleading for her to let go, "Have you gone mad again? The child just woke up from a coma! Release him!"

The mother let go of his arm and demanded again, "Tell me, who did you learn the Mysterious Sect Immortal Technique from?"

Cao's father was furious, "You've meditated and cultivated until you've muddled your mind, haven't you? Haven't you always said there are higher-dimensional beings? Then let's say a higher-dimensional being taught him, okay? If I knew you were still this mentally ill, I wouldn't have informed you to come!"

As Cao's mother was about to speak, a gentle yet authoritative voice suddenly reached her ears, "I taught him! Blood God, I never expected that we would meet again in this manner!"

Cao's mother abruptly turned around, lifting her head toward the ceiling, then with realization, she concentrated and asked with her thoughts, "Are you Shi Feiyang?"

Shi Feiyang was rather conflicted. He had not expected Deng Yin to cross over so quickly. Despite his hurried pursuit, he still fell far behind, "It's me."

Deng Yin inquired, "So, you've actually taken disciples in this Saha World and taught them the Nine Heavens Mysterious Scripture? Is it to guard against me?"

By the time they reached their realm, conspiracies and tricks could no longer deceive anyone. They could only act overtly. Shi Feiyang admitted frankly, "It is to guard against you. Unfortunately, you managed to reach there in such a short time. The Blood God Scripture is indeed wondrous and deeply profound, truly inconceivable!"

"It wasn't that fast. I spent a full twenty-seven years! Only recently did I succeed in crossing over, and this is just the Second Primordial Spirit borrowing the shell of my devotee. My true body still cannot arrive."

"Twenty-seven years?" Shi Feiyang quickly calculated the time but something felt amiss, "How could it have taken you twenty-seven years? You've known the name Shi Feiyang for less than twenty-seven years, right?"

Deng Yin gave a bitter smile, "The Heavenly realms don't differ only in spatial separation but also in temporal chasms. My senior brother's Liangyi Dust Formation is indeed profound and mysterious. I thought I had understood eighty to ninety percent of it, but now it seems, not even close!"

It turned out that after receiving the broken bow sent by Grandmaster Ha Ha through Huang Yun's Arhat and realizing he needed to take a "detour," he had tried to open a rift between the two worlds and search for devotees in this one.

But in this world's timeline, it was the year Shi Feiyang had crossed over. He found the meditation-loving girl, who was Cao Yunfei's mother... Shi Feiyang had spent many years in the Shushan World, totaling precisely eighty-one years, whereas Deng Yin had been busy in this one for twenty-seven years, only now finally managing to bring the Second Primordial Spirit through to adhere to this most faithful devotee!

His own presence within the Liangyi Dust had the effect of distorting space-time, becoming a diverging point for different timelines.

Shi Feiyang, upon hearing this, was also taken aback. Having "Harmonized" earlier, he had only begun to witness the essence of space and was able to open a pathway between the two realms, pulling people back and forth, but his understanding of the essence of time was still not profoundly deep, and he could not quite grasp what Deng Yin was saying.

He asked with some concern, "Over these twenty-seven years, you must have gained a lot, right?"

Deng Yin sighed helplessly, "The gains are indeed plentiful, but most importantly, I found a book called 'Shushan Swordsmen,' along with quite a few derivative novels."

Shi Feiyang's mind buzzed almost explosively, "You've seen the contents of the book?"

Deng Yin nodded.

Shi Feiyang also wanted to clarify the reason for his own crossing over and asked, "What is your view of this book?"

Deng Yin responded, "At first, I couldn't understand it and found it absurd. I am a character from the book, coming from the book's world to the real world, while you are a real person who crossed over to the book's world. Logically, the world within the book doesn't exist; it's false, an illusion! I shouldn't exist here, nor should you there! I always suspected this was a trap prepared for me by my senior brother and some baldy within the Liangyi Dust Formation, intending to break my Daoist belief and make me accept that all phenomena are empty appearances, all phenomena are not self, and all conditional existence is like dew, like lightning..."

"It definitely isn't like that!" Shi Feiyang asserted confidently, "I've seen the essence of the cosmic spacetime. Both worlds are causally connected – if one is real, both are real; if one is false, both are false."

Deng Yin paused, then continued, "I learned of your great renown and had my disciple track you down to this city, finding information about you. Twenty-seven years ago, you died in the examination hall, as if you had reincarnated into that world."

"So what of it?"

"Do you know how the Western Paradise came into being?"

Upon hearing this, Shi Feiyang already had a notion, "How did it come into being?"

Deng Yin explained, "The Pure Land was not created by Amitabha Buddha; it came to be because before becoming the Buddha, he made a grand vow, stating that upon Enlightenment, he would create a Pure Land for the suffering sentient beings that would be better than heaven, and that he would eternally teach there... After he attained Buddhahood, according to his vow, he guided the sentient beings with whom he had karmic connections. Each being recited his name, aspiring to be reborn in that Pure Land. And thus, in the void appeared a Buddha Country Pure Land..."
