The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 472: 385 Fire True Scripture

Huo Wuhai trapped Poison Hand Mo Shen in the Supreme Heaven Fierce Fire Formation and continuously burned him with the Supreme Heaven Divine Flame.

Blood Rock Hermit saw how formidable the array was and figured Poison Hand Mo Shen would have a hard time breaking out, so he attacked Huo Wuhai with all his strength from the outside: three Flying Forks, two Demon Blades, and even a Black Gold Divine Axe, all thrown at once.

Huo Wuhai sat upright in the midst of a big fireball, his whole person indistinct within the swirling flames. He released three hundred and sixty Sun Divine Needles.

The original needles numbered three hundred and sixty, each bearing Circulation God Talismans. Once released, each needle further burst forth one hundred thousand and eight thousand Sunlight Needles, the total number being well over ten million, illuminating the heavens and earth as they swept toward Blood Rock Hermit.

Blood Rock Hermit was greatly alarmed upon seeing this and hurriedly cast multiple spells. His seven incarnations each cast spells, releasing a plethora of Blood Flame, Evil Smoke, Heavenly Gang, and Demon Light, mixed with various kinds of Magical Treasures. He put forth all his effort, desperately withstanding the sky-full of dazzling light needles.

These light needles, smashed in great numbers by his Flying Forks, Demon Blades, Golden Axes, and Divine Cones, kept regenerating from their original three hundred and sixty as long as these remained untouched. Each light needle could spray Sun Divine Flame; usually, a wisp would shoot from the tip, but upon exploding, it shattered into a burst, with light among fire and fire among light, as the Sun Divine Flame rampaged through the sky.

Blood Rock Hermit seemed to be holding his ground for the time being, but his Magical Treasures could not withstand the burning of the Sun Divine Flame. The blades and forks began losing their sharpness, even showing signs of melting.

At this moment, Mo Zhui saw an opportunity and, with his three young brothers, launched an attack, targeting three circles from below.

The Heavenly Phenomenon Circle emitted a blast of blue light, the Earth Spirit Circle turned rapidly with colorful light, and from the Material God Circle, a large number of dragons, tigers, and phoenixes flew out. Each circle expanded to several dozen zhang in diameter, rising from below to attack Blood Rock Hermit.

Blood Rock Hermit, while continuously casting evil spells, attempted to capture Huo Wuhai's Primordial Spirit from afar. Suddenly seeing three colored light circles rising from below, he quickly divided three incarnations to block them, leaving four in their original spot, frantically expelling Primordial Qi, biting their tongues to draw blood, overexerting their potential, as the three incarnations resisted the Heaven and Earth Quiet Circle.

Both fronts seemed to be losing, and he could only desperately endure for a moment. It was then that Ganoderma Immortal joined the fight, with twin Golden Spears paving the way, followed by the Five Directions Divine Halberd.

Blood Rock Hermit's three incarnations, already struggling against the Heaven and Earth Quiet Circle, faced immediate pressure from the Five Directions Divine Halberd and had to hastily cast spells to defend. Already stretched, they were overrun by the three circles, which forcibly absorbed their Primordial Spirits. Now unable to transform or ascend, they were engulfed by the three light circles, with light flowing and colors blasting. In an instant, all were annihilated!

Blood Rock Hermit was terrified out of his wits, realizing that if he didn't leave before the three circles rose to block his escape on three sides, he would never get away. Abandoning Poison Hand Mo Shen, his four incarnations broke through the sky-full of True Sun Fire, shattered the swath of light needles, and fled in four directions, faster than a shadow, vanishing in a blink.

Mo Zhui and the four youngsters came up to Huo Wuhai: "Brother Huo!"

Huo Wuhai nodded: "Have you been hurt? Was my timing alright?"

"Just in time!" Mo Xiang nodded vigorously, "I was praying to my father, and you arrived—perfect timing."

Mo Ying said: "Let's go help Brother Yuan deal with that Ape Demon first, then come back and talk to Brother Huo." He had suffered quite a bit earlier when the Ape Demon drained his blood and captured his soul from a distance, nearly devastating his Primordial Qi and detested the Ape Demon deeply. Now with Huo Wuhai here, and one of the old creatures from Xuanyuan trapped and the other fleeing, there were no more concerns, so he suggested joining Yuan Hua to attack the Ape Demon.

The other three juniors cheered on and were about to make their move when Huo Wuhai stopped them: "Is your help even needed? Just stay here and do not run about rashly; let me assist brother Yuan in taking down that demon."

He sent the Sun Divine Needles again—a billion light needles turned into a sea of flames soaring across, suddenly constricting. The light needles, normally able to expand or slender to a micro size, then narrowed to the fineness of cow hair, boring into the Crystal Sand, where Yuan Hua's Magnetic True Qi was marshaled.

The Sun Divine Needle, refined from the True Sun Fire, was not among the Five Elements, and so Magnetic True Qi could not influence it. Yuan Hua, also recognizing the arrival of a friendly force and hearing that his master had visited Central Earth and accepted a fire essence disciple named Huo Wuhai, proficient with the True Sun Fire. He now realized it was him, so he did not order the Divine Sand to resist, but instead cooperated intentionally.

Neither speaking nor signaling, the brothers worked in tacit agreement, allowing the Divine Sand to mix with the light needles. The Illusionary Divine Sand merged with the flaming light needles, emitting a dreamlike radiance as they formed a vast and splendid galaxy that made Mo Zhui and the four youngsters exclaim in unison: "How beautiful!"

To them, it was indeed beautiful, but in the eyes of the Ape Demon, it was terrifying.

His Divine Demon Incarnation was formless, and Yuan Hua's sand couldn't defend against it, but the True Sun Fire could.

When Huo Wuhai initially cultivated this Magical Treasure, he aimed at refining demons. The Sun Divine Needle, penetrating the demon body, would cause excruciating pain, and burning it with the True Sun Fire could turn the demon into ashes, obliterating both his body and soul.

The Ape Demon's ten strands of Taiyin Heavenly Gang Sword Qi were suppressed by the Magnetic Divine Sand and became ineffective, while the released Demon God was restrained by the Sun Divine Needles.

Huo Wuhai, in perfect synergy with Yuan Hua, manipulated both the Divine Sand and the Divine Needles to enwrap the Ape Demon within, layer upon layer, piling up thicker and thicker until they formed a radiant, glowing sphere, its diameter over a hundred zhang, suspended in mid-air, slowly rotating, lighting up the world.

Both of them employed their spell techniques, continuously casting spells, aiming at the Divine Fire Sand Ball, steadily increasing the fire's intensity while causing the dust and sand to constantly flow and grind against each other.

As long as they continued for three hours, they would be able to grind the Ape Demon's fleshly body into dust, and then seal the Demon Sword and take it to Qiao Mountain to report back to Shi Feiyang.

Huo Wuhai was busy controlling the Supreme Heaven Fierce Fire Formation to refine Poison Hand Mo Shen while joining forces with Yuan Hua to annihilate the Ape Demon with the Sun Divine Needle. Mo Zhui and the other four youngsters watched and cheered; these two senior disciples were truly formidable, easily taking care of the Demon Human and Ape Demon.

At this time, Yuan Hua also flew over. He had never met Huo Wuhai, but he had heard of him more than once, and indeed, seeing him now, he lived up to his reputation. Huo Wuhai also greatly respected this senior disciple, rising to greet him with a ceremonial bow.

"I received the Flying Sword Transmission from Xiankong Ancestor that master imparted, and I came immediately," said Yuan Hua. "In addition to joining my junior brothers to retrieve the treasure in Yuan River during this trip to Central Earth, I also intend to resolve some past karma and convert several of our kind." Looking down at the Five Immortal Apes, he said, "Although these five are apes, they possess a forthright nature. It's unlikely for them to achieve much in this lifetime, but with diligent cultivation, they can attain great accomplishments in the future. Encountering them today, it's fitting they be taken into my sect."

Shi Feiyang had two primary tasks for him during this trip to Central Earth; one of them was to go to Mangcang Mountain to welcome Yuan Xing.

Years ago, the Green-Haired True Master Liu Laogen had two apes, Cang Yuan and White Ape, beside him. He wrote four volumes of the Dan Book and three rolls of the Immortal Seal, all meant for humans to study. However, he wrote the Inner View Primordial Sect solely for other species to attain the Dao, specifically for the two apes.

Cang Yuan was more honest and kind-hearted. Before Liu Laogen attained the Dao, he was borrowed by the Heartless Zen Master of Tianzhu to guard the cave, and after studying Buddhism with the Zen Master for many years, he could have ascended to the Pure Land. However, because he breached the precepts against greed, anger, and killing, he reentered the cycle of rebirth and went through many lifetimes, eventually being reborn as an ape again, this time in a troupe on Mangcang Mountain.

White Ape was prone to anger, impulsive and extreme. Although he was the first to enter the Dao and listen to scriptures, due to his impatient desire for progress, he deviated and destroyed his body, reincarnating as a human and going through three lifetimes of trials. Liu Laogen tried to convert him twice but ultimately failed due to his own wrathful delusions.

Before ascending to immortality, Liu Laogen precisely calculated their karmic paths and specially left behind the Inner View Primordial Sect and three treasures: a hook, a sword, and a bamboo slip for the two apes.

Yuan Hua was the White Ape, and now, having followed Shi Feiyang, he had achieved considerable success. The reincarnated Cang Yuan appeared as a dominant female ape, and originally she was to be accepted as a disciple by Li Yingqiong when she ventured alone into Mangcang Mountain.

Shi Feiyang foresaw that due to his arrival, the lines of karma became intertwined and entirely altered. Purple Ying and Green Rope, the two Divine Swords, had been reclaimed by the Emei Sect, and Li Yingqiong's future solitary journey to Mangcang Mountain would not happen. There was no telling how long this mother ape would have to wait for a chance at immortality, so he sent Yuan Hua to guide this millennia-old friend back to the path of immortality.

The Elder Ape, as well as the five little apes, all shared some of his blood lineage, and their innate potential wasn't bad. The Elder Ape, fearing they would cause trouble and rob passersby if they went outside, causing disasters, kept them confined in the mountains all year round, which resulted in them not being very bright.

Now, they understood their Elder Ape had been harmed by the Demon, their eldest brother Yu De had been drained of Essence Blood, and even the cavern dwelling on Yellow Dragon Mountain had been destroyed and turned to ruins. After suffering under the Blood Rock Hermit's Evil Skills, they endured a tribulation; seeing Yuan Hua, another of their kind who appeared so kind and knowledgeable, felt a sense of closeness. After watching Yuan Hua cast spells from the heavens, they saw his grand Divine Skills, and as he descended, they knelt and begged to be taken in for protection and acceptance.

Both sides had the willingness, and so the apprenticeship and master-disciple relationship naturally fell into place. The Five Immortal Apes then retrieved fifty-three pages of the Jade Fire Scripture and one copy of the Jade Sword Scripture to present to Yuan Hua.

Yuan Hua hadn't expected to gain such a windfall from accepting disciples; upon seeing the Fire True Scripture, he was moved. With a brief calculation, he realized that this karma was unexpectedly connected to Huo Wuhai.

He then took the Five Immortal Apes along with two Daoist books to find Huo Wuhai.

Huo Wuhai said, "The master only instructed me to welcome you with the Flying Sword Transmission and did not entrust me with other tasks. However, he once mentioned the karma of the Fire True Scripture when he rescued me from my predicament on Moon Island. This Fire True Scripture is an Ancient Immortal Scroll, with half discovered by Master Lianshan and concealed within Moon Island, which I obtained. The other half was acquired by the Elder Ape. He said that only when I collected the complete scripture and manifested the Ancient Fire God's Incarnation could I attain the Dao. Later, when I cultivated the Immortal Law taught by my master, I could also achieve the Dao, so I let this matter go. I never expected that today I would receive this half of the scripture in such a manner!"

Yuan Hua then offered to give the scripture to him.

He briefly skimmed through a few pages of the Jade Fire Scripture and addressed the Five Immortal Apes, "I won't take this scripture for nothing; you will join Yuan Hua as my junior disciples, and my junior nephews. If you encounter any difficulties, you can come to me. If you wish to cultivate Fire Element Daoist Techniques, once I have fully understood both scriptures, I will teach them to you."

The Five Immortal Apes knelt down on their knees, pleading, "We do not want to study the scriptures; we just beg our master and uncle master to save our original master..."

Huo Wuhai exchanged a glance with Yuan Hua. He thought that since the Elder Ape's Divine Soul had been devoured by the Demon, it was likely to be in pieces now. Even if they could retrieve the remnants of the soul and reassemble it, it probably wouldn't retain any consciousness, akin to a wasted ape.

However, since they had taken the Daoist books from them, they should do their utmost for them.

Huo Wuhai said, "The master has the Spirit Pills and Spiritual Glue for Gathering Soul and Refining Form that can guide him in his cultivation..."

Before he could finish, two blinding sword lights, each a hundred zhang in length and dazzling like comets, shot from the southwest. They traversed the sky faster than lightning and fiercely pierced the Crystal Sand Globe used to seal the Ape Demon.

With a loud explosion, Crystal Sand scattered everywhere, flames surged, and a fire-engulfed Ape Demon roared as it leapt out from within!
