We were on our way to deliver it to you, and it was thanks to the keen eyes of our third brother that we recognized your five-colored auspicious cloud and hurriedly came to meet you."

Yi Xiu was aware of the matters between Zhou Meng's three disciples. He remembered that Zhu Que had harmed the third brother, Wei Ji, implicating the eldest, Shang Zhu. Unexpectedly, after many years, the three had reconciled.

He thought it was unexpected yet reasonable that the elder Daoist Master Hesha had specially left them a tribulation crossing technique.

Though his heart held some pride, he felt crossing this tribulation using his sect's methods was indeed superior to seeking help from outsiders.
