My Lewd Streamer System

Chapter 108: Aether Crystal

Six days of pure agony.

Jordan sat against a wall as he panted, his two swords lying beside him. Both of them had multiple visible cracks that showed their low durability.

"Left and right… both in harmony…" he muttered as he looked forward. He wasn't close to what one might consider 'Harmony', but he could tell that he had improved by leaps and bounds.

His instincts didn't only force him to use his right hand but also his left, which was a sign that his training was working well.

'In just six days….' he thought as he got to his feet and turned his head to look in a particular direction.

It was the direction in which all the nanobots would move in after they were done consuming the zombies.

Taking a deep breath, he began walking.

The once bustling city looked nothing like it did before. Crushed cars, broken street lamps, random belongings of people lay on the roads. Most of the buildings were broken into but they did hold most of their structure.

Jordan walked for almost thirty minutes before he saw a familiar face. In fact, two familiar faces.

Amon and Nyx stood a few meters away, chatting together while zombies ate each other further away.

"What is going on, professor?" Jordan asked as he ran over to them.

Amon turned to look at him and raised his eyebrow, "I'm impressed… you didn't use the teleportation talisman and you managed to survive. Good work."

"Thank you, professor." Jordan said softly as he looked away from Amon.

Ah, how good it felt to get praised for one's efforts.

"As for your question…" Amon muttered as he looked at the mutated zombies that were fighting each other, "They'll eat each other to get stronger. Once there's just one left, it'll be considered a boss I guess."

Nyx glanced at the zombies and sighed, "Do you think we'll be able to beat it?"

"I'll take care of it, you don't have to worry." Amon said confidently as he patted her head and leaned closer.

With is mouth right beside her ear, he whispered, "It's not like you can walk properly after everything we did in the past few days. Just take some rest, baby."

Nyx's face immediately turned red as she grabbed his shirt and pushed him away, only to end up not letting go.

With his shirt stretched, Amon chuckled and glanced at the zombies that were still fighting.

"This will take some time… what's your level right now, Nyx?"

Nyx took a look at her system screen and stared at it for six long seconds before muttering, "D plus… Level eighteen…"

'I jumped from E rank to D plus in just a week?' she thought as she continued to stare at her screen.

"D plus…." Jordan muttered as he stared at Nyx with his mouth slightly open.

Amon nodded as he glanced at him, "I mean, it's a C rank world dungeon. The experience you get here is much higher than anywhere else. On top of that, we're just a party of three so the overall experience we gain is higher than the huge parties that enter this dungeon."

"Right… most of the times, the parties that challenge this dungeon can have numbers more than ten. But even those are considered top tier parties. Most of the regular awakened go with twenty people or more." Jordan said as he nodded.

Experience gained not only depended on how one shared their party's experience, but also on the party size.

Solo's got a boost in experience gain, 50% extra of total. Duos got the 100% while the rest would get lower percentages.

Three member party would only get 80% of the total experience from a dungeon while four member party got 60%. This pattern went up to 20% which was for a 6 member party.

Once that was done, each member added would just split the 20% experience amongst themselves. Of course, this would be dependent on how the party leader wishes to set up the distribution.

With Amon's team only having three members, they had access to 80% of the total experience that the dungeon could provide.

On top of that, Nyx also gained 90% of the experience her party gained, which boosted her up to D plus rank even though she barely killed any zombie.

Meanwhile, Jordan merely nodded and didn't complain. He came here to train his swordplay safely and he was more than satisfied with his progress.

Amon waited for a few minutes and once he saw one of the two zombies getting eaten, he walked towards the last remaining one.

[Ding! All mobs have been slain within the dungeon.]

[The boss will appear in five…]

"Haaaaa…." Amon exhaled as he used Aura, boosting all his stats by 50%.

[One.]

"Screeeeeeee!!!"

Amon looked up at the abomination in front of him. It did not look like a zombie or a human and nor did it resemble any animal.

It had human-like legs but they were extremely muscular. A bright red exoskeleton covered every single part of it's body. A tail that resembled a scorpion's stinger swished behind it threateningly as it crushed one of the walls behind it.

It's upper body was something Amon couldn't even guess. It had multiple outward spikes that seemed to be made of bone but even they had the bright red coating which just made everything hard to guess.

It's head resembled a snake's but it also had a horn right in the middle.

Even with all of it's bizarre appearance, Amon couldn't take his eyes off it's back.

It had a spear just attached to his back like a magnet. It didn't look like a traditional spear.

It had a transparent container that held a murky red crystal inside that floated right in the centre.

'Hmm… what even is that thing?' Amon mused as he continued walking forward, only to see a system message appear right in front of him.

[Based on the scans, it's an Ather Crystal.]
