A strange feeling coursed through his heart, spreading through his veins, but it wasn't painful this time.

Throughout the day, all Everlearn did was fix wires, welding together Tech bodies, and getting himself shocked by electricity here and there.

The first time he got his lab coat from the woman, he had been warned not to let it burn, and he couldn't understand why she kept emphasizing it.

But now, he knew the reason.

One simple chemical or wiring failure can send a student butt naked faster than he or she could blink.

He had even seen one student whose lab coat got grabbed by a crushing Tech gadget, and he had to rip himself out of his clothes to save himself from getting crushed.

Though Everlearn always made sure to steer clear away from such Techs.

The last thing he wanted was to have himself naked by some god damn Tech when there were cameras in the ceiling and all the students' eyes on him.

But what he couldn't save himself from was the electricity.

Occasionally, volts ran through him, but that couldn't be helped.

Eventually, he got used to it, though today's shock felt stronger than usual.

The class ended around 11:00 PM, and he stepped out of the classroom along with hundreds of other Mech Students.
