"You may have gotten stronger, Levi" Dazzai said, his voice low and menacing, "But this is far from over… what happened at Cindralock academy is just the tip of what I am willing to do to stay at the top…"
My eyes met Dazzai's and I could feel the intensity of the rivalry building between us. "I'm not afraid of you Dazzai…" I said with a firm voice. "I won't let you hurt people I care about all in the name of greed…"
The battlefield was still eerily quiet after my devastating attack.
The only sounds were the crackling embers of flames and the faint rustling of the wind.
Dazzai stood still, glaring at me with barely contained rage. His once confident demeanor was now replaced with irritation as his minions lay defeated.
"You're just full of surprises, aren't you?" Dazzai hissed, his voice sharp. "But I'm done playing with you."
My breaths were heavy, but I remained composed, still keeping an eye on my siblings who were enclosed in a thick protective barrier of spacial matter for their safety.
Despite the small reprieve, I knew this wasn't over. I still felt Arcane energy swirling around Dazzai, ready to unleash something even more dangerous.
"Skill…"
"Gravefield…"
Suddenly, Dazzai raised his hand and a strange dark mist began to form around him. The ground trembled as a massive portal tore open behind him.
From the depths of the portal, monstrous figures began to emerge, they were terrifying creatures of darkness, twisted forms that radiated raw, malevolent Arcane power.
Their presence sent a chill through the air.
I clenched my fist. "He's called in reinforcements," I muttered under my breath.
Gritting my teeth, glancing at the swirling mass of undead behind Dazzai. "Alright then…" I muttered, spreading my hand as a surge of purple light pulsed around the air behind me. "Lets see if my Arcane reserves can handle all of you at once."
One by one, glowing portal of black and purple clouds ignited around me— each portal representing an exit point for the rest of my Arcane pets that were about to pass through.
"Come Forth…" I smirked slightly. "Including you, the unnamed one…"
A thunderous roar shook the ground as the great serpent Naga slithered out of the void, blueish purple scales glimmering with faint Arcane energy. Beside it, the two elemental dogs who were present previously walked into view.
And finally, the white bear with purple streaks of sigils all over its body stepped through the last portal, towering over me like a mountain, its eyes glowing with raw untamed energy.
The moment they appeared, a sharp alert flared across my vision.
~System alert: Arcane Reserves is dropping rapidly~
~3000/3500~
I hissed under my breath. "Tch… figures." still I couldn't stop now.
Shrugging off the warning. I drew the Cobra's Tongue— the curved dagger Dasheen had given me from my inventory. Its blackened blade shimmered with green hue hinting on its poison laced effect.
I charged forward.
The undead surged toward me like a wave of rot and bone, snarling and shrieking. My blade sliced through them with fluid precision as I performed a systematic dance of speed and fury. Sparks of Arcane energy trailed each slash as I weaved between claws, fangs and broken spears.
I barked instructions at both Elemental dogs and the new bear Arcane pet, moving together with fluid precision and ease.
Meanwhile, Naga remained behind, coiled protectively around the shimmering glass-like barrier that held my siblings. The serpents eyes flickered with faint light, it wanted to fight, but I could tell it was still wounded with the encounter with Regazan The Blood Faun.
"Stay back Naga," I said quietly through the chaos. "You've done enough."
That when I felt a quake behind me.

The white bear, my newest Arcane companion roared, its sound tearing through the battlefield like thunder. With one mighty swing, it sent a dozen undead flying into the air before smashing its paw into the ground, cracking it open.
A grin slipped across my face despite the systems message and the obvious pressure. "Damn, you're really something, huh?"
The bear looked down at me, snorting proudly as if expecting praise. Even in the middle of battle, I couldn't help but laugh. "Alright big guy," I said, slicing through another wave of enemies. "Guess its time you had a name."
I pointed my dagger toward it, Arcane energy flickering between us like a pact. "From this day on, you're Egar."
Ding!
~Name received, Arcane pet has successfully been named for summoning and has been completely tamed~
~Egar~
~Level: Grade three [Intermediate]~
"You may have some fancy tricks Levi, but you'll never match the true power of a Thornhill!!"
"Skill…"
"Undertakers Domain…"
Suddenly, the air grew colder as Dazzai activated his ability, a skill that allowed him to increase the strength of his summoned entities. The undead creatures twisted into monstrous shapes that were so scary to look at, one would think Shadow creature are more good looking.
I could no longer rely solely on brute force, Dazzai's new skill helped me realize that I needed a new approach.
I narrowed my eyes, concentrating as I activated spacial matter, both repel and attract.
With a wave of my hand, I joined both matter together to create a new matter that had a 'Cancelling' effect, obliterating anything and everything in its part. The mass swallowed the creatures whole, reducing them to absolutely nothing.
Dazzai's grin flattered fast.
"What kind of magic is that! It very impressive!!" the noble born muttered, his eyes narrowing.
Before I could respond, Dazzai suddenly dashed toward me with amazing otherworldly speed.
In the blink of an eye, Dazzai was right in front of me, launching a flurry of strikes with a blade from one of his subordinates.
I barely managed to deflect the blows with my spacial control, but Dazzai's speed was overwhelming.
Just as Dazzai was about to land a decisive blow, a burst of energy erupted between us, forcing Dazzai to retreat.
I glanced up in surprise to see Vice Chancellor Elara Voss standing elegantly on a boulder of several rocks, and with her stood a curvaceous figure with an intimidating aura surrounding her, so thick that it could make one suffocate.
Her eyes were glowing thick purple as she descended from the elevation. "That's enough, Thornhill son," she said coldly, "You've crossed a line…"
Dazzai scowled but didn't back down. "This doesn't concern you, Reaper Korvessa!! it between me and that weakling."
The woman's eyes narrowed. "Levi is a student just as much as you, you will not harm him or his family."
Dazzai's lips curled into a sneer. "Do you really think you can stop me? I am of S-rank potential as you!!"
The woman smirked and let out a slight chuckle, "Potential? You are of potential… I am of Realised… this battle is over…"
"Song of Destruction…"
