I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 586: The Division of the Realm

"Continue your work," Julian said with a gentle wave of his hand. "Don't let me interrupt."

He moved deeper into the castle, following the sounds of activity. The main hall had been divided into sections, creating different departments. He could see areas designated for population records, resource management, trade documentation, and various other administrative functions.

It was impressive.

Julian then climbed a wide staircase to the second floor, where he sensed his daughters' presences. He followed a corridor and found himself approaching a large room.

He paused at the open doorway, taking in the scene.

Seraphine, Lyanna, and Cassandra were all present, bent over a massive table that dominated the center of the room. The table was covered in maps, charts and documents. Scrolls were piled on side tables, and a large board on one wall was covered in notes and diagrams.

All three young women were deeply focused on their work. Seraphine was drawing something on the map. Lyanna was comparing two different documents, her brow furrowed in concentration. Cassandra was writing rapidly in what appeared to be a formal report.

They were working on the report he'd requested.

Julian felt a swell of pride at the sight. They had built something remarkable here.

He knocked lightly on the doorframe.

All three heads snapped up simultaneously. For a moment, they simply stared—then their faces transformed.

"Father!" Seraphine exclaimed, her serious expression melting into a brilliant smile.

"You're here!" Lyanna added, nearly dropping the documents she'd been holding.

Cassandra rose from her seat. "We weren't expecting you so soon."

All three of them moved toward him, their earlier embarrassment from breakfast seemingly forgotten in their pleasure at seeing him. They clustered around him like children, despite being centuries old and incredibly powerful in their own right.

"I wanted to see where you work," Julian explained, his arms opening to embrace all three of them at once. "And I was curious about what you've been building here."

"It's the administrative center for the entire realm," Seraphine said proudly, gesturing around. "We process everything here. Everything that keeps this world running smoothly comes through here."

"We've been working on your report," Lyanna added, pointing to the table covered in materials. "We're trying to be as thorough as possible, like you asked."

"We've divided it into sections," Cassandra explained. "Seraphine is handling the economic and political structures, Lyanna is documenting military and security arrangements, and I am overseeing the cultivation systems and energy distribution."

Julian looked between them. "Show me," he said simply. "Show me everything you've built. I want to understand the full scope of what you've accomplished."

All three daughters lit up even more at his genuine interest. They immediately began pulling him toward the table, talking over each other in their eagerness to explain their work.

Seraphine took the lead, gesturing to a large, detailed map spread across the center of the table. The map depicted the entire Throne of Gods realm in remarkable detail, with different regions marked in various colors and symbols.

"First, Father, let me explain the fundamental structure we've established," Seraphine began, her finger tracing across the map. "The world of the Throne of Gods has been divided into two primary sections—the Resident Section and the Rulers Section."

She pointed to a vast area that encompassed most of the mapped territory. "This entire region is the Resident Section. It's where the inhabitants live, work, and build their communities. We've divided this section into multiple territories based on geography, population density, and resource distribution."

Her finger then moved to a much smaller area—the mountain peaks where the castles of harem stood, along with some surrounding territories. "And this is the Rulers Section. This is reserved for us and a few selected creatures."

Julian's eyebrow rose with interest. "Selected creatures?"

"Yes," Seraphine nodded. "Over the centuries, we've encountered certain individuals among the inhabitants who showed exceptional qualities. We've brought some of them into our inner circle, essentially elevating their position. Their families have been allowed to settle in the Rulers Section as well, creating a sort of... nobility."

She gestured to several marked locations around the mountain. "These are their estates. Not as grand as our castles, of course, but substantial properties that reflect their elevated status. They serve as advisors, ambassadors to the lower territories, and help us maintain order across such a vast realm."

"Interesting," Julian murmured, studying the map more closely. "How many such families exist?"

"Currently, seventeen families," Cassandra supplied, pulling out a document with neat lists. "Each one has proven their worth over decades or even centuries of service. We're very selective about who receives this honor."

"As we should be," Julian agreed. "Continue."

Seraphine's expression grew more animated as she shifted focus to the larger Resident Section. "Now, as for the Resident Section—this is where the real organizational achievement lies. After you left, Father, the creatures began evolving randomly and were essentially scattered and directionless. They soon gained power but no structure, no society, no real civilization."

She pulled forward another map, this one showing the Resident Section divided into numerous smaller territories.

"We've taught them the concepts of civilization, society, and rules. It took decades of patient work, but we've established a hierarchical governance system that maintains order."

Her finger traced to one of the marked territories. "At the most basic level, every family unit has a head—the strongest or wisest member who makes decisions for that family. These family heads oversee their area, which might be a small village or even just a cluster of homes."

Lyanna stepped forward. "Having individual family heads prevents disputes from escalating unnecessarily. If there's a problem within a family or between neighboring families, the family heads resolve it directly. It keeps minor issues from reaching us."

"Smart," Julian observed. "Keep going."

"Yes," Seraphine continued, clearly pleased by his approval. "But family heads alone aren't enough to govern large populations. So above them, we have Chief Heads."

She pointed to larger territorial divisions on the map. "Each Chief Head oversees approximately ten to twenty family heads. The Chief Head is responsible for coordinating between the families under their jurisdiction, resolving disputes that the family heads can't handle."
